The First Store System

861 A New Day for the Store(3)

Chapter 861: A New Day for the Store(3)

Ricky found the stone used in the floor familiar, but since he couldn’t put his finger on it, he stopped thinking about it.

He looked straight ahead only to find the non-demon looking back at him with the same expression of indifference.

Ricky gulped as he sensed that he wouldn’t be able to leave the store if the non-demon didn’t want him to. Taking a deep breath, he proceeded forward. Since he had already entered the store, there was no point in wasting time.

“Hello, Aakesh!”

“This is your store,” Ricky said. He couldn’t hide the nervousness in his voice.

Aakesh didn’t speak anything in response but only nodded his head.

Ricky felt himself standing in front of a beast that wanted to go for the kill, but he had no weapon to defend himself. Since he thought such, he hurriedly asked Aakesh about the store products.

“The store only has one product at the moment….” Not caring about what was going on in Ricky’s head, Aakesh explained about Panagea.

A wondrous expression appeared on Ricky’s face as he heard about Panagea. He had heard of legendary products that could help in training without fear of death, but here, a different world was on the other side, with its own sets of rules.

‘Only those above ‘True God’ can give birth to this kind of world,’ Ricky thought in his heart after learning about Panagea. Even while thinking about the level of True God, he maintained respect.

Ricky believed the Panagea to be a cultivator’s inner world since these worlds had their own rules, while the cultivator could do anything they wanted with those worlds.

“How do I enter this Panagea?” Ricky asked. He had forgotten all the nervousness he had been carrying in his heart. Now, he wanted to make a good impression on Aakesh since he wanted the figure behind Panagea to notice him.

“You can’t.”

“There are only three virtual portals, and they are all taken,” Aakesh responded expressionlessly.

When Ricky heard Aakesh’s first sentence, he felt uncomfortable, believing that Aakesh had no interest in letting him enter due to the conflict. But when he listened to the following sentence, his heart calmed down.

‘Thanks, Demon Lords, I didn’t act irrationally and listened,’ Ricky thought, heaving a sigh of relief in his heart as he was about to apologize for believing something that wasn’t true.

“When will it get free?” Ricky asked. Unknown to him, his tone contained respect.

Aakesh gave the specific time after calculating how long Favan had been inside Panagea.

Ricky nodded and began to think of his next set of auctions. It was still hours away, so Ricky could return at that time and then enter Panagea. But then a thought occurred to him: what if someone else came and booked Panagea, forcing him to wait even longer?

Considering his doubt, Ricky decided to wait inside the store for time to pass. He would just call his subordinates and order them to patrol without him.

As for telling the soldiers about Panagea, Ricky didn’t have the idea. Like many, Ricky wanted him to have as little competition as possible from other customers.

“Store owner, can I wait here till that time?” Ricky asked Aakesh because if it wasn’t allowed, there was no point in thinking about it.

Aakesh didn’t say anything but nodded his head. The next moment, he closed his eyes and began another of his relaxation sessions since there was nothing left to introduce to Ricky.

Ricky stood dumbfounded for a moment after seeing Aakesh’s reaction. He then sighed and went to the corner near the portal room, where he waited for his turn.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in a flash.

Ricky silently waited for his turn to arrive while Aakesh was comfortably relaxing on his chair. Suddenly the silence inside the store broke as the sound of footsteps rang.

Ricky stayed unaffected as he couldn’t hear the sound due to the store’s effect. The same wasn’t the case for Aakesh. He opened his eyes and looked at the door to find a customer standing at the gate of the store.

It was also a familiar face since it was one of the generals present on the scene. The general in question had the same expression as Ricky when he had reached the store.

More time flew by, and two hours passed in a flash.

Two people were standing silently in the store’s hall, waiting for their turn to arrive, while Aakesh was relaxing on his chair.

The familiar scene repeated itself as the sound of footsteps woke Aakesh up from his relaxation session. When Aakesh looked at the source of the sound, he found another familiar person entering the store.

It wasn’t that Aakesh disliked it. In fact, Aakesh wanted it more. Around half the deadline for the quest had already passed, and he still hadn’t fulfilled half the number of customers, even if he included the two new customers waiting for their turn to arrive.

More time flew by, and the six hours of Panagea’s stay for Favan were over. The system forced him out, and as he appeared, his face turned ugly as he found both the remaining portals grayed out.

‘Damn it, another one has found about Panagea,’ Favan cursed in his heart.

Favan then took a deep breath to calm his angry heart and left the portal room. When he exited, his face turned ugly as he found four people waiting inside the store.

While Favan was looking at the four newcomers, the four generals were also looking at Favan.

Since Favan was a nobody, the generals didn’t recognize him, but Favan did as he was also present on the scene.

When Favan found all four waiting customers to be generals, his heart turned cold.

‘Did I hit myself with an axe?’ Favan thought in his heart.

Favan had wanted to use Aakesh’s background to remove Garoun since he was stopping him from entering Panagea.

The plan worked, as Garoun died, and there was no one left to threaten Favan. But at the same time, that plan made more people aware of the store.

If Favan’s plan helped himself, it also backfired as it made the store more popular. It was negatively famous, but that was still bound to attract some customers.
