The First Store System

859 A New Day for the Store(1)

Chapter 859: A New Day for the Store(1)

After checking Fortune Eye, Aakesh moved on to check the other upgraded skills.

Time flew by.

Once Aakesh had checked all his upgraded skills, he still had hours left before sunrise in Thorr city.

Since it had been a long time since Aakesh had gained some XP from quests or hunting, he proceeded deeper into the forest to have a successful hunt.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

[Host, the sun is about to rise in Thorr city!]

In the midst of a battle with a Level 298 beast, Aakesh heard the system’s alert.

The next strike became a death strike as Aakesh activated one of his offensive skills and vaporized the beast.

Since Aakesh wasn’t doing any significant tasks, there was no point in him staying here any longer.

The next moment, a white light engulfed Aakesh. When the light disappeared, Aakesh also vanished with it.

The sun rose in Thorr city, announcing the start of a new day. With it, a store also opened its door.

Favan hadn’t slept since yesterday as he was busy making plans on how to continue whatever edge he had won over others due to his earlier start in Panagea. He still stood right at the gate when the sun rose.

Aakesh turned around and went back to his chair, while Favan followed him.

“Hello, store owner,” Favan respectfully greeted Aakesh and then requested his order.

Due to his deal with his mother, Favan had secured financial assets large enough for him not to worry about money issues for the next year, so he had a certain aura of confidence around him.

Aakesh only nodded and waved his hands. The next moment, the Sacred stones taken out by Aakesh disappeared from the store’s hall and appeared in the system space.

Favan thanked Aakesh and then proceeded toward the portal room.

Aakesh took a look at the door, and after seeing no customer approaching, he closed his eyes and began the first of his several relaxation sessions.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in the blink of an eye.

Aakesh heard footsteps approaching him, so he opened his eyes.

“Hello, store owner,” Garos greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh only nodded expressionlessly and waited for Garos to come to his purpose.

Garos had a hint of disappointment in his eyes as he could neither see a pill counter nor did he notice another room in the store.

The store owner had said that the pills could arrive even the next day, but the probability didn’t work in his favor.

Garos became hurried after seeing the state of his wife yesterday and wanted her to take the pill as early as possible. As a result of yesterday’s situation, the illness has worsened.

“Store owner, has the pill arrived today?” Garos still asked Aakesh. He had no confidence in his heart, but Garos hoped for an unexpected situation.

“No,” Aakesh answered expressionlessly.

Garos stood silent for a few seconds and calmed his heart. He then took out a mountain of lesser and ordinary Sacred stones from his inner space.

Garos had liquefied half of his remaining assets. It was more than enough for Garos to pay the remaining compensation amount, and at the same time, he held enough Sacred stones to continue to enter Panagea and buy pills.

Garos then paid thirty-five lesser Sacred stones to Aakesh and went toward the portal room. He had already talked with Elera about it when she regained consciousness for an hour yesterday night.

As Garos was leaving, a question suddenly popped into his head. He didn’t stop himself, as he stopped in his steps, turned around, and asked the question to Aakesh.

“Store owner, can an unconscious person enter Panagea?”

There was a slight hint of trembling in Garos’s voice as he asked.

Aakesh understood this question was related to the person who had Maleros. It was the first time someone had asked Aakesh about this. Aakesh had thought about this issue in the Primal dimension, so at that time, he had asked the system.

Since he already knew, Aakesh didn’t need to ask the system.

“If you’re talking about the person who has Maleros, then they can enter Panagea,” Aakesh answered.

During the Maleros disease, it was the body that got affected by the disease. The soul stayed untouched until the extreme disease stage.

What customers needed to enter Panagea was a conscious soul. Maleros didn’t usually affect the soul until the body was still active.

Aakesh didn’t know about the condition of the Maleros patient, so he asked Garos.

After Aakesh learned she would wake up every day, Aakesh told Garos that Elera could enter Panagea. Even though the time was decreasing every day, her soul was still untouched by the wild Sacred energy. It was just that her condition was slowly approaching that level.

Once Elera fell into a coma, the wild Sacred energy would have touched her soul. At that time, she would be unable to enter Panagea.

As Garos heard Aakesh’s confirmation, energy erupted like never before inside him.

Garos didn’t turn around to enter the portal room, but he charged out of the store.

The other store owners and passersby only felt a quick wind passing through them, as their eyes weren’t strong enough to see Garos run at full speed.

Aakesh understood what Garos wanted to do. In fact, he liked it. His quest was still trailing and needed nine new customers in a span of four days, including today. The more customers he had the better for him and the store.

As Garos was rushing back to his house, he was unaware that this action by him put him one step closer to having the pill for his wife.

It took Garos around thirty minutes in total to leave the store and then return. The time could have been reduced, but Garos controlled his speed during the return journey due to Elera’s frail body.

Garos didn’t waste any time after returning to the store, as he paid another thirty-five lesser Sacred stones and went to the portal room while gently carrying Elera in his hands.

(A/N: I hope readers will not need to ask why Garos didn’t keep Elera in his inner space.)
