663 Battle(2)
Chapter 663: Battle(2)
Aakesh decided to take the initiative in this round of the battle. So as soon as the sound of the announcing bell disappeared, Aakesh disappeared from the place he was standing and appeared right above the head of the White Dragon with the spiked head in his right hand, roaring to land a hit.
Things didn’t go as per Aakesh’s expectations as the spiked head instead of crashing onto the head of the Dragon, clashed with the empty air.
Aakesh using the weight of the spiked head, started falling at an unimaginable rate to the ground. It was also what Aakesh wanted since there was a shadow covering him from the sky.
Without even expanding, the White Dragon of the fifteenth stage was already a hundred times the size of Aakesh, so it looked like a rabbit battling an elephant.
Aakesh, using one of the skills he had gotten with the flail, increased the weight of the spiked head since there was an energy ball almost twice his size approaching him.
Aakesh’s thinking worked as his falling speed grew at an exponential rate due to gravity.
Unfortunately for Aakesh, the energy ball still turned out to be quicker. Before Aakesh could even land on the ground, the ball crashed onto him, creating a loud explosion..
“Thud!”
Aakesh didn’t come out of the explosion unharmed as the force released from it threw Aakesh several thousands of meters backward. If not for the battle arena expanding to accommodate the size of the creature, he would have gotten knocked out of the arena and would have lost the battle.
[0)ᴠʟ “Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
The next moment, successive sounds of metallic clash began ringing in the battle arena as the spiked head clashed with the Dragon’s claws.
Even though the White Dragon was exponentially superior to its fourteenth stage version when it came to strength, agility, or endurance, it didn’t mean Aakesh was weak. If Aakesh had his skills, he would have ended the battle as soon as it had begun, but since he could only use the skills he got from the weapon for the fight, he failed to gain any edge over the White Dragon.
“Boom!”
“Boom!”
“Boom!”
Sounds of explosions started ringing in the area as with every clash, the spiked head and the claws released a vast amount of energy just like an explosion.
As time passed, Aakesh started gaining the upper edge since, with each clash, his speed only grew instead of decreasing, while the Dragon grew slower since it was crazily attacking Aakesh.
Even though the Dragon was crazily attacking Aakesh, it didn’t mean that things were not known to it. It was as if it knew what it was doing and was always in control of its actions.
The White Dragon, unlike other opponents of Aakesh, was using the revival at every stage to its advantage.
The system had set creatures for Aakesh, who already knew everything, so they were already aware of dying at the end of the battle and then reviving in the next stage after they lost.
The White Dragon was using that factor to its advantage. As the crazily it attacked, the quicker and more destructive the battle would be, and the faster its stronger version would arrive to take out its anger on Aakesh for using a weapon that was created from its kin’s body parts. After seeing that Aakesh was gaining the upper edge, the White Dragon understood that the current it wouldn’t be able to defeat Aakesh. It needed to go even higher if it wanted to take revenge for its kin.
Aakesh suddenly felt a cold wind caressing its cheek as the Dragon’s eyes suddenly turned red. It then backed a single step and opened its maw as wide as it could.
Aakesh felt the breeze of death caressing him as his eyes turned colder, while the flail in his hands suddenly saw a transformation.
The flail suddenly melted into Aakesh’s right hand, with a black, silver, and brown metallic cover gathering around his hand.
In no time, his hand had turned into a spiked head, with the head being black in color, the spike being brown, while the tip of the spike was silver, encompassing all three colors of the flail at once.
It was the ultimate skill the flail had allowed him to use in this training environment, and Aakesh didn’t find it to be a wasteful skill for the current use as he witnessed a giant grey energy ball appearing in his sight.
Aakesh could see the White Dragon weakening at an unimaginable rate, and in no time, only the shell of the Dragon, and the grey energy ball got left in the battle arena, except for Aakesh.
The grey energy ball was the accumulation of the combination of the Dragon’s energy and blood, so it already knew the reason for its creation.
Even though the Dragon had died, the battle wasn’t over since the last clash was still left, and whoever won it would be the winner of the fifteenth stage.
Soon, the grey ball disappeared from the place it was and appeared right in front of Aakesh as if it had teleported.
Aakesh had cold eyes as he raised his right hand, which was currently a spike head, and banged it into the grey energy ball.
“BOOM!”
The next moment, an explosion loud and destructive enough to destroy half the battle arena emerged with a mushroom cloud almost twice the size of the already dead White Dragon.
When the mushroom cloud had subsided, instead of the battle arena, only a pit with an endless depth could be seen.
“Whoosh!”
The next moment, a sound of something tearing through the air rang as from the endless depth, a being flew into the air, only stopping where once the surface was.
It was none other than Aakesh. He looked the same as always, but the same couldn’t be said for his right hand.
The spiked head had cracked in half as the result of the clash, and it had resulted in blue blood continuously pouring out of the crack.
Aakesh then deactivated the skill, and soon, his mangled right hand presented itself, while a flail floating in the midair also appeared next to him.
