1257 A New Day for the Store(4)
Chapter 1257: A New Day for the Store(4)
As the man stepped inside the store, he was awed by the luxurious scene he saw inside. His eyes almost popped out in shock, seeing the Eternal Stones used as flooring as far as they could see.
His eyes then fell on the blue-skinned store owner. The next moment, he raised his eyes in surprise since the cultivation of the store owner was only that of the late Divine Being.
Even the dust of the Eternal Stone being in the hands of a late Divine Being cultivator was a travesty, let alone the vast quantity he saw inside the store.
The man believed that the store owner was hiding his cultivation, so he thought of attempting to peer through the invisible energy wall. But the next moment, his intuition started warning him of an extreme danger.
The man looked in shock around the store and found that the energy permeating every corner of the store was the source of the danger.
The man didn’t attempt to look through the cultivation, not wanting to face the danger. He then walked forward and approached the store owner.
The man was a peak Supreme God cultivator, who was about to step into the next level and get the Sacred title. He didn’t come to the store at the suggestion of his friends or family; his coming here was pure luck.
The man’s name was Grim, and he was one of the top-level members of a merchant organization based on the planet Curiel. For the past few centuries, the branch earnings from the planet have been slowing at a consistent rate.
The organization was left with no choice but to send one of its top-level members to check on what was causing so many losses.
Grim found the reason behind the losses to be the branch head. The branch head was an avid gambler, and during one such outing, the head lost a lot of money, which he couldn’t pay back.
To pay the sum, the branch head began to pay using the money that belonged to the branch. At first, the man was cautious and didn’t take out more than the minimum amount he could without alerting the higher-ups, but as the years passed, and no one from the head branch came to ask questions or pass an audit order, the man’s confidence rose.
The man then began to gamble using the branch money, and the situation had come to this. Since the organization was spread across several Universes and millions of branches, the headquarters were bound to miss one branch, causing losses.
Even the truth came out because of the sudden epiphany Grim had about checking the records of the branches based on the small planets.
That epiphany became the reason Grim came to the store.
“Hello, store owner. I am Grim,” Grim respectfully greeted Aakesh and introduced himself.
“I am Aakesh,” Aakesh responded since he always replied whenever someone introduced themselves.
Grim then introduced his background, in which case Aakehs only replied with silence.

While Aakesh was introducing the store’s products and their basic details to Grim, Ruwan finally found a healing skill that he liked.
Similar to the last time, he took out the King and Emperor levels of skill and then compared their effects.
[Name: Tide of Restoration
Type: Supporting
Level: Emperor
Cultivation Level: Early to peak Higher God
Effect: Harnesses the essence of water for unparalleled healing and rejuvenation
Description: The user taps into the ancient and boundless power of water, unleashing a torrential wave of healing and rejuvenation. This skill channels the life-giving properties of water to mend wounds, restore vitality, and rejuvenate the spirit. It also possesses the ability to cleanse and purify impurities, toxins, and curses.
The magnitude of healing is influenced by the user’s cultivation level and the severity of the injuries or afflictions being treated.
Price: Four hundred supreme Sacred stones.]
The Emperor-level skill had the additional effect of purifying, while the lower levels were simply for healing. The master level was only used for self-healing, while the higher levels allowed the user to use the healing effect on others.
Ruwan was confident that he would not be able to fully learn the skill while adding [Annihilation Tempest] and [Resolute Fortress], so despite not wanting to, he gave up on the Emperor level [Tide of Restoration].
Ruwan wasn’t fully confident about his compatibility and training time for the King level skill, so he decided to experience it, and if he could get time to train, he would purchase it.
Since Ruwan now had all three of his skills selected and hadn’t experienced two of them, he turned around and joined the line standing in front of the semi-pillar.
The waiting time wasn’t as short as the last time since many customers had come to the room but still, it didn’t take long and he reached the pillar.
Ruwan decided to experience the [Resolute Fortress] first and placed the card in the card compartment.
The next moment, Ruwan found himself in a different environment. In front of him stood a towering creature, ready to attack.
There was an abundance of energy forming at the tip of its gigantic mouth. Ruwan saw the attack completely form. It took the shape of a gigantic spherical ball made of red dots.
Standing hundreds of meters away from the attack, Ruwan could sense the air around him burning.
Ruwan wasn’t afraid like the last time since the attack’s power was nothing in comparison to what he saw during the [Annihilation Tempest].
The next moment, his body acted on its own and activated the skill.
Rumble!
As Ruwan activated the skill, the ground began to tremble, creating a loud rumble. The earth’s elements started to gather together and materialize into reality. It soon took on the silhouette of a fortress, and it was completely transparent at that stage.
As more and more earth particles started to gather, the fortress’s size began to grow. In no time, it reached twice the height of Ruwan, but it still kept growing.
