1196 Reminiscing the Past!
Chapter 1196: Reminiscing the Past!
“Finally!” Katrina commented as it was finally time for her and Autumn to enter Panagea.
They came to the store late today due to some personal reasons, so they couldn’t get spots to enter in the first group or even the second and third groups of 1x stay customers.
Autumn also nodded since she had already gotten late to report to Lily in Panagea. They immediately stood up from their chairs and proceeded toward the portal room.
Soon after they left, the two chairs disappeared from the store, emptying the space.
“Hello, store owner,” The new customer greeted Aakesh as it was finally his turn to talk with the store owner.
The man belonged to the Sinstan, a mid-tier race in the demon group. His name was Fens, and he learned about the store from one of his friends.
Frens was an intermediate True God level cultivator, and the friend that told him about the store was Jerome, the previous King of the Fawkes Kingdom. It was a different matter that Frens had to pay a large sum to get that information out of his mouth.
Aakesh nodded in response to the man’s greeting and waited for the man to ask about the store’s products.
Frens didn’t disappoint Aakesh and asked about the store’s products. But since he was already aware of the store’s products, he didn’t ask about all the products but Panagea.
Aakesh explained all the questions Frens had related to Panagea, and at the end, he also informed Frens about the lack of spots.
‘That bastard!’ Frens cursed Jerome, as Jerome had told him that the store was new, so the spots in Panagea were usually empty.
It was also the reason that Frens had hurried to the store since he wanted to enter Pangea that day itself.
Frens then calmed down and stopped thinking about it since Jerome was clearly playing a joke on him.
Since Panagea was out of the way, it was time for the next product, Beast.
After getting all the answers he wanted, Frens thanked Aakesh and then went toward the beast room.
After Frens left, another customer took his spot, so Aakesh focused on that customer.
“Store owner, I want these,” Inves requested, handing the two skill cards to Aakesh.
Aakesh nodded, took the card, and looked at it. The next moment, all its basic details appeared in his head.
“You need to pay two hundred ninety -four higher Sacred stones,” Aakesh informed, returning the two cards to him.
Inves nodded and began to take out the required sum from his space ring. Inves had bought two defensive skills, one of Master level and the other of King level, so the cost was steep for the two of them despite it only being for Divine Lord cultivators.
Inves was satisfied with the price, so he didn’t complain and pushed the small mountain of stones toward Aakesh once he had taken out the required amount.
The next moment, Aakesh waved his hands, and the stones disappeared into the system space.
After the amount was found to be correct, the system notified Aakesh, and in response, Aakesh informed Inves. He then also explained the process of absorbing the two skills.
“Thanks, store owner!” Inves thanked Aakesh and then left the queue. Since he had already purchased a weapon and had also been in the Gods & Demons level training area, Inves had no product available to choose from. He decided to return the next morning so that he would get a Panagea spot.
After Inves left, another customer waiting to complete the weapon purchase took his place.
Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.
It had been fifteen hours since the store opened its doors to customers. The day went better than the past few days, showing exponential growth that even surprised Aakesh.
Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard a slight stir in the store. He didn’t open his eyes since he had already gotten used to it. Whenever one group exited Panagea and left the portal room, those kinds of scenes would play out.
Katrina and Autumn were also part of the group exiting the portal room, so they approached Aakesh.
Aakesh didn’t even have to request the system, as their chairs appeared out of thin air. Katrina stretched her arms and sat down on her chair. Autumn also followed suit. There was a slight hesitation in her movement.
Katrina noticed it, so she immediately shook her head. Autumn heaved a helpless sigh and sat down on her chair.
Aakesh also noticed that he had to open his eyes once a customer approached him. He didn’t give much thought to it since if Katrina and Autumn needed his help, they would tell him.
The new customer greeted Aakesh like the other customers. Not to disappoint Aakesh, the man immediately asked about the store’s products, not wasting any time on the self-introduction and other questions.
“The store currently sells six products. They are pills, weapons, beasts, cultivation arts, skills, and Panagea…” Aakesh introduced the products and their basic details to the man.
Time flew by, and another hour passed in the blink of an eye.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction, only to come across a familiar face.
It wasn’t a regular customer at the store, but one from a different dimension altogether. To be precise, a customer from the first phase of the store.
Aakesh remembered the name of the being since the customer in question was one of the most fortunate customers ever, and he also took a tremendous risk in the product’s choice. It was none other than Amar, who died in a vehicle accident before finding himself in front of the hut in the darkness of the void.

Amar stood in front of the building, as told by his son. He couldn’t help but take a deep breath of air.
As he took a step forward, he hesitated for a while, remembering the blue-skinned man and the furry, white creature, whom he was once jealous of. Amar had achieved more than what he desired even in his dream, but when he came to the store, he was at his lowest, so he returned to that weak creature he once was, standing in front of the building.
Amar then took a deep breath and completed his step. Soon after he reached the stairs made of three steps. Amar didn’t hesitate and stepped up, and soon, he stood in front of the door.
One step forward, and he would be inside the store. Amar took a deep breath and stepped inside. The next moment, the view around him changed as he found himself in the store’s hall.
Amar froze as his eyes met with the blue-skinned man, who changed his destiny from a creature that died in an accident to a creature that he had become.
“Which of these products can make me look like you, store owner?”
“You can’t look like me, but if you want my skin color, I have some products.”
“This is the pure blood essence of Kaaladhin. If you transplant it, you’ll reincarnate as a Kaaladhin member, and they have the same deep blue skin as me.”
Amar couldn’t help but reminisce over the conversation with Aakesh again.
As he remembered those days, his eyes slightly turned moist. Amar couldn’t help but laugh and wipe out his eyes.
He then took a step forward and approached Aakesh.
“Hello, store owner, remember me?” Amar greeted Aakesh, and without waiting for any response, he bowed down to his waist.
The scene would shock anybody, as Amar was a powerful cultivator, and to bow in front of a Divine Being cultivator would find it humiliating.
Even Katrina was surprised to see the bow. She could feel the strength the man had.
“Of course, I remember every customer of the store, Amar,” Aakesh responded with a smile.
“It seems your goal to look like me is going well,” Aakesh commented. He also remembered Amar’s intention behind buying the pure blood essence of Kaaladhin.
Amar couldn’t help but smile like a child when he heard the comment.
“I am still far from achieving that goal, senior,” Amar responded, pointing at his red and black eyes.
“Where is Master Lily?” Amar asked after he didn’t see Lily in the store.
When he had come earlier, Lily wouldn’t leave Aakesh’s side for even a moment, so not seeing her in the store was kind of weird.
“She is in Panagea; she will return around sunset,” Aakesh replied.
“Panagea?” Amar mumbled since it was the first time he had heard that name.
