Jarun’s eyes popped open when he read the details on the card. He couldn’t help but look at himself with suspicion, as even he wasn’t born with so many skills. What shocked Jarun even more was characteristic of the beast.
[Invincible Exoskeleton] was a characteristic that very few of the arthropod species members had. There was none in the Faedican race who had that, but the beast in his card had one.
Jarun’s eyes glowed in excitement as he not only got the Faedican at the ultimate quality but got a version that he didn’t even imagine.
Jarun then excitedly left the line and exited the room, approaching the store owner.
Jarun had to get in line, as there were already three customers in line near the store owner.
After several seconds, it was Jarun’s turn. “Store owner, please initiate the taming battle,” Jarun requested Aakesh, pushing the card toward him.
Aakesh accepted the card, took a quick look at the beast, tapped twice on the storefront pattern at the back of the card, and returned it to Jarun.
The next moment, Jarun found himself in familiar surroundings. It was similar to the colony where he and other Faedicans lived, but here it was better.
He was in a vast underground cave with crystals embedded in the wall here and there. The concentration of the earth element was abundant there.
Jarun felt as if he had come home. He took a deep breath and began to crawl across the cave.
Suddenly, he came across a narrow path in the cave, and soon after, a head popped out of the path. Jarun stopped crawling across the wall and got ready to battle.
When the Faedican opponent saw it was one of his own, the affinity attribute toward members of its race kicked in.
Buzz!
Still, it was a taming battle, so there needed to be one winner. The opponent told Jarun to give up and accept the beast as his master.
Jarun was never going to accept that, so the battle began. Both Jarun and the opponent found the area to be their playground, so they could fully unleash their potential.
The battle between the two raged on for hours, then turned into days, but the battle continued. The crystals embedded in the walls across the cave acted as their food and energy source.
After an unknown amount of time, the battle finally came to an end with Jarun winning over the beast. Jarun won based on sheer luck since he unlocked one of the abilities related to his eyes that allowed him to defeat the beast.
Even though weeks had passed during his battle with the beast, when Jarun’s consciousness returned to the store, he found that no time had passed at all inside the store, further shocking him about the store and the store owner.

“You need to pay six thousand supreme, one ordinary, and one hundred ten lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh informed Jarun after he had completed all the steps, and only paying was left.
Aakesh didn’t stop and then introduced the store cards to Jarun since this was the time when many of the beast owners bought store cards.
Jarun also bought a Supreme Store Card and paid the required sum, making the Faedican from the store his own.

“Store owner, do you know anything about this mutation?” Jarun asked.
After the beasts, there was no product that was very useful to him, so he decided to take a chance and ask the store owner about his mutation.
Aakesh knew the reason for Jarun’s mutation, but since there was a customer behind him, he didn’t tell him and asked him to leave the line.
Jarun had no choice but to leave the queue, and another customer took his place. He then turned around and left the store.
If Jarun had waited for a while for Aakesh to get free, Aakesh might have told him the answer, but since Jarun didn’t know it, he decided to leave.
The inflow and outflow of customers continued throughout the day, and soon, there was only around an hour left before sunset.
Suddenly, a door popped up in the store in mid-air. The next moment, the door opened, and Khaval walked out.
Khaval walked using his tail flukes as feet. He soon reached the floor and jumped on Aakesh’s head, adding force to its flukes.
A few minutes later, the door reappeared, and this time, Lily walked out of it.
When Lily saw Khaval was already there on Aakesh’s bun, and was making funny gestures toward her, she angrily scoffed.
Aakesh only smiled seeing such antics by the two of them. He didn’t have much time to focus on the duo as a new customer stepped foot inside the store.
It was a citizen of Thorr city and had come here after learning about the mental healing pills.
“Store owner, give me three lesser mental healing pills, three lesser soul healing pills, and three lesser spirit enhancement pills,” The man requested. He had come here only to buy mental healing pills, but after learning the various categories, he bought more of them.
Aakesh stood up from his chair, went to the counter, and picked out the required pills from the shelves.
“You need to pay one hundred ninety-five lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh informed the man, pushing the pills toward him.

The sunset arrived on Thorr and nearby cities. The light was forced to hide from the darkness and its cover had shrouded the cities.
With the sunset, the time to close the store also arrived. Autumn and Katrina left the store after playing with Khaval, and Aakesh went to the rooms one by one, telling the customers to leave and come the next day to continue their shopping.
Time flew by, and soon after, only Aakesh, Lily, and Khaval were left in the store. Aakesh went forward and shut the door, bringing an end to another fruitful day for the store.
