1140 Falling in Love!
Chapter 1140: Falling in Love!
“Store owner, I want to enter Panagea,” Visca requested. After learning about Panagea, his body’s natural response made it abundantly clear that this was the chance the scroll had described.
“You can’t; the spots are all filled; you will have to wait for some time,” Aakesh responded, pointing at the five thousand plus people waiting at the waiting corner beside the portal room.
Visca felt a slight disappointment, but soon he calmed down since the wait wasn’t that long. He also had nothing to do. He was alone in this world, so he had all the time.
Since the wait time was obvious, Visca decided to check out other products. After Panagea, the second product that interested him was the beasts.
“Store owner, tell me more about the Beast Owner Device.” Visca requested.
Aakesh nodded and soon introduced the device in detail. At the end, Visca had made up his mind to check the product, so he thanked Aakesh and then went toward the portal room.
Aakesh pointed toward the beast room, and Visca left after thanking him once again.
When Visca entered the room, he found a line of nine people already in the room, with the woman at the front looking at the card in her hands.
Visca didn’t dare act rowdy and join the queue, waiting for his turn. Visca found that he wasn’t even the strongest. The man at the sixth spot in the line had higher cultivation than him. If that man silently joined the queue, who was he to use his strength?
Visca started looking at the beast murals painted across the wall to pass the time. The more of them he looked at, the more desirous he became of wanting a powerful beast.
Time flew by, and after several minutes, it was finally his turn. At that time, the queue had grown bigger, with almost fifteen people behind him waiting for their turn.
Visca took a deep breath and looked at the nine beasts on the screen. A smile spread across his face as one of the nine beasts was one of the beasts on the list of beasts he wanted.
He then pressed the switch, starting the summoning round. The next moment, the square light began to rotate at an unprecedented speed.
Time flew by, and it was now time for the fifth summon. As Visca pressed the switch again, ‘4’ appeared on top of the screen while the square light began to rotate.
Five seconds passed in a flash, and a beast appeared on the screen. The beast was unfamiliar to him, so it was not on his list. Visca felt slightly disappointed by not getting one from the list, but his face changed as soon as the card flew to his hands, and he read the content on it.

Visca had never seen the Bearded Butterfly in his life. As soon as his eyes fell on it, he fell in love with it. Just to move down from the illustration was a tough ask for him.
The Bearded Butterfly was a gorgeously stunning creature. It wasn’t a small creature like other butterflies. Its wingspan was one meter, and it was a deep shade of blue with green stripes along the edge. It was covered in dense, fluffy fur with shades of orange and black. Its most striking feature was its beard. It was a bright, fiery red color and hung down from its chin in long, thick clumps. Its eyes were large and blue, like its wings.
Visca decided to buy the beast as soon as he saw it, and its abilities made him even more certain of that. Even though it wasn’t on his list, Visca wasn’t some omniscient being that knew every beast race. Its characteristics [Butterfly Effect] were a great ability to have. It was uncontrollable but its effects could change the entire scenario in different circumstances.
A wide smile spread across Visca’s face as he turned around and left the beast room with the card in his hands.
Visca was a wealthy man at the moment, so its steep price meant nothing to him.
“Store owner, please initiate the taming battle,” Visca requested Aakesh, passing the beast card to him.
His heart felt pained when the cards left his hands. Aakesh ignored Visca’s reaction, took a quick glance at the card, and then tapped twice on the storefront pattern at the back of the card. He then returned it to Visca.
