1134 New Quest!
Chapter 1134: New Quest!
Aakesh didn’t stop Lily from opening the box, and soon it was opened.
Aakesh was curious about who sent him the parcel, so he also focused on the content.
The next moment, Lily’s hair was raised all over her body as her anger soared like never before.
Katrina and Autumn were shocked to see what was inside the box.
Aakesh was the only one who was calm. He extended his right hand and picked out the item.
The item was familiar to all four of them, and it was a head. The head didn’t belong to a person, but it was made up in the same form as Aakesh.
It was as if they were looking at Aakesh himself. The made-up head had a terrified expression as if he had seen something terrible and was afraid.
Lily raised her head and looked at the gate. She suddenly charged since the man had only left a few moments ago.
Unfortunately for her, her attempts turned out to be futile as a large hand grabbed her. It was none other than Aakesh.
She looked angrily at Aakesh for stopping her. Aakesh’s expression was calm, as he didn’t say anything and focused on the made-up head.
Lily sullenly returned back to her spot. Her eyes then fell on the piece of paper laid at the bottom of the box.
Lily took the paper out, unfolded it, and read the content on it.
[I am coming for you and the store!]
The content on the paper was a simple warning from whoever sent the box.
Aakesh noticed the paper, but he kept his focus on the made-up head.
Aakesh smelled a familiar scent from the head, and it didn’t take long for him to recognize who it was.
Aakesh remembered that there was a customer who arrived in the store while it was still in the Primal Dimension. The customer availed the benefit of the store’s products for only one day, as only after a single Gods & Demons level training session, the man reached the limit and had to ascend.
Aakesh remembered that before ascending, a weird scene had occurred when the man had looked at him with a greedy expression.
From what he remembered, the man’s name was Hartol.
[Hey, system, is this got to do with that organization?]
Aakesh asked the system since it had happened not long after he had hunted down an organization that was trying to intrude into the store on someone’s order.
[Host, please see the screen for your next quest!]
Instead of a response, the system’s mechanical, emotionless alert rang in his ears.
The next moment, a blue screen only visible to him appeared in front of him.
[Mission Objective: Spoil the Plan
Details: Your possession of a valuable item had made you an enemy of a strong organization. You foiled their plans to intrude on the store by exterminating the organization in the Primal Dimension, but for the Sacred Dimension they have planned an even more sinister situation for you,
Requirement: Kill the Pawn in the next thirty thousand years without the system’s help
Information: The pawn is too strong for you to defeat currently.
System’s help: Materialization of a single weapon of your liking
Mission reward: Increase of one sub-level, upgrade of [Apocalyptic Blast], and one offensive and one defensive skill,
Failure Punishment: Decrease of a level and the store’s shutdown for three thousand years.]

When Aakesh looked at the reward section, he became even more motivated to defeat Haltor in less than thirty thousand years.
Apocalyptic Blast had become his signature skill, so its upgrade was a welcome step. He found it to be more valuable than the reward of one new offensive and defensive skill each.
Aakesh took a quick glance at the failure punishment and waved his hands. The next moment, the screen disappeared, waiting for him to call it back.
Aakesh returned his focus to the made-up head and crushed it into dust.
The next moment, an invisible pressure erupted, attacking the dust and the box. In no time, they disintegrated into nothingness.
Aakesh then looked at Lily, looking at the note in her hands with deep anger.
Aakesh took the paper away from her and stroked her fur while a tiny black energy ball erupted from the tip of his finger and engulfed the piece of paper.
Aakesh continued stroking her, trying to calm her down.

A few minutes ago,
After hearing some desired things from one of the beauties, Ishtan left the store in a blissful mood. He decided to wait outside the store for the woman.
Ishtan had no idea about what was in the box. Suddenly, a tingling sensation appeared in his head, shocking Ishtan.
Ishtan was a Sacred King, so it wasn’t an ordinary thing. Ishtan panicked, trying to understand what was happening.
Before he could understand, a black hole the size of a particle of sand emerged out of his inner world and engulfed him completely.
It all happened so fast that for the people outside the street, the man looked like he had teleported.
While in reality, the man had died and his soul was devoured by the black hole.
***
Somewhere in the Sacred Dimension,
Hartol licked his lips, satisfied with the taste of Ishtan’s soul.
Hartol was an executive in the organization, so he chose a strong cultivator to deliver to show Aakesh his strength.
The moment the organization chose Ishtan to be the delivery man, he had signed his death guarantee. Hartol wasn’t going to let someone like Ishtan live who could be tracked down to find him.
Hartol wanted to hunt Aakesh but on his terms. He desired to get him when Aakesh least expected, and Ishtan was only the start.

“Do you need us to fight?” Katrina was the first to break the silence after a while.
She and Autumn owed a debt to Aakesh, so she wanted to help him. It would be nothing in comparison to what Aakesh did for them, but it would be a start.
“No!” Aakesh smiled and replied.
