The First God-Tier Necromancer

Chapter 79: Galzan shipped.

Arthur, Leon, Mira, Victor, Karl and, well... Galzan were sitting around the table.

Arthur stared at them for another few moments before finally speaking.

"So, you’re telling me that the dungeon token I gave you sent you into some special dungeon..."

His eyes slowly shifted toward Galzan.

"And this thing followed you here?"

Karl nodded with a slightly forced smile.

It had already been more than a week since Galzan had somehow returned with them, and the time for their academies to start was quickly approaching.

Arthur had spent most of the past month outside again, only sending things back to the family regularly, but he had finally returned during breakfast today.

Naturally, the moment he entered the house and found an unknown man sitting there as though he belonged, questions followed rather quickly.

And that was how this interrogation had begun, galzan remained silent beside them, although the tension on his face was obvious.

Almost immediately after being dragged through the portal with Karl and the others, he had been personally taken away by Victor for an interrogation.

None of them would forget the expression Galzan had when he returned.

Whatever happened clearly hadn’t been pleasant, and by now Galzan had also understood that Victor and Arthur were both existences that could probably kill him with a flick if they really wanted to.

Arthur looked toward him again before turning back to Karl.

"Either way, you’re not leaving this new pet of yours here."

"And according to what you’ve told me, this thing isn’t going outside alone either."

Galzan’s expression immediately became offended, but he said absolutely nothing.

Nearby, Noctis gave him a haughty look and internally thought.

Good, good you should learn little brother, don’t go against the old man and you’ll be treated well by your big brother here.

Galzan looked toward the tiger and, for some reason, felt as though he could almost understand exactly what that expression meant but he wisely kept his lips sealed.

Arthur continued, "Take this thing with you and I’ll talk to Abel and get him a place there."

Then his eyes returned to Karl.

"Tch, tch you’re always making trouble for me, aren’t you?"

"What a wonderful grandson, I’m starting to think I should just lock you inside a room."

Karl simply shrugged. "It’s not like you haven’t already done that."

Arthur humphed

"Yeah, yeah."

He leaned back slightly before continuing.

"Well, we’re leaving for Sovereign Academy today, at least it’s good that you guys have already completed your Transition tasks."

Then his gaze slowly moved toward Leon.

Leon immediately made a pitiful expression, his attributes had already increased to nearly twice what they had originally been after all the body tempering, but his final First Transition requirement was still there.

Martial Heart.

And Leon still barely understood what exactly he was supposed to do to form one.

Martial-type talents were already relatively rare, and truly powerful ones were rarer still, so finding anyone capable of properly guiding him had been difficult.

Arthur looked at him for a moment before sighing.

"You’re still not doing badly."

"If you’re lucky, you might meet some Martial Master at Sovereign Academy who can help you understand that Martial Heart of yours."

Leon’s expression immediately brightened.

"Granduncle, you truly are the best."

Arthur shrugged.

"You’d better avoid your grandfather, though."

"If that bastard sees you’re still stuck before your First Transition, he’ll probably skin you alive."

"He knows nothing except progression, training and getting stronger."

Leon went quiet for a moment.

"...I’ll keep that in mind."

---

Some time later, Karl and the others were standing inside a massive hall.

Karl looked around at the familiar structure while countless people moved through the different sections around them.

Well, it seems the true journey is finally beginning.

Leon, meanwhile, was lazily slumped nearby while Karl spoke with a man dressed in a formal suit.

The man respectfully bowed toward Karl before handing over several tokens and explaining a few things about their formation.

Galzan was standing a little farther away looking extremely nervous and paranoid.

Even the clothes they had given him seemed to make him uncomfortable, and every few moments he adjusted the collar as though it was trying to strangle him.

Leon glanced toward him and chuckled.

"Seems your dreams of ruling the wilderness have truly been destroyed."

He grinned.

"Well worry not, we’re in the same plight too."

Galzan looked at him emptily it did absolutely nothing to make him feel better.

Karl simply shrugged at the situation, there wasn’t much any of them could do about the ridiculous circumstances Galzan had somehow found himself in.

But thinking about it properly, bringing him along might not be such a bad thing either.

Galzan would be a monster once he properly entered the current progression system.

Arthur had apparently arranged for him to enter Sovereign as a student as well, and according to what they had managed to determine about his talent, he wasn’t inferior to someone with an SSS-rank talent.

The only problem was that Galzan still absolutely refused to call himself human.

Then again, he didn’t exactly have a proper race anymore either.

Over the past week, they hadn’t raided many dungeons and had mostly remained at home resting while teaching Galzan about the current world.

Surprisingly, he had adapted rather quickly, just then Arthur walked over.

"Well, well we’re ready."

He glanced at the token in his hand.

"Teleportation Formation 25-C79B It’s time to go."

They followed him toward a much emptier section of the hall where several enormous formations were built into the floor.

Although every major city in the Alliance was connected to the others as a precaution for emergencies, normal travel between cities this far apart was much less common.

Almost nobody from the upper cities had any reason to visit a place like Ardent City, while very few people from here would ever get the chance to travel somewhere like Aurelis.

They eventually stopped in front of the formation.

Arthur turned toward Karl, Mira and Leon with a smile.

"You’re in for quite a sight, my dears."

He looked toward the glowing formation beneath them.

"A truly magnificent one at that."

Karl only gave a faint, sighing smile.

Not so great one for him after all... it wasn’t his first time visiting Aurelis.
