The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly
Chapter 1759 White Moonlight VS Substitute (Part 2)
Chapter 1759: Chapter 637: White Moonlight VS Substitute (Part 2)
During the period when Gu Hong imprisoned He Mengtian, he successfully discovered that the one he truly loved was He Mengtian, not Qin Anran.
When the frenzy of love faded, Gu Hong’s intelligence as a domineering president began to regain the high ground.
Gu Hong quickly found out that Qin Anran didn’t have any rare disease; she broke up with him purely because she found him too inexperienced, unlike those enthusiastic foreigners who understood romance better.
Her going abroad wasn’t to get treatment but simply because she liked the openness and freedom abroad.
A few years later, Qin Anran returned to China, not because her illness was cured or because she wanted to reconcile with Gu Hong, but because the Qin family’s business ran into trouble.
If timely remedies couldn’t be made, the Qin family might go bankrupt.
If the Qin family went bankrupt, Qin Anran wouldn’t be able to remain a spendthrift rich young lady.
She approached Gu Hong, only to get him to help the Qin family and incidentally secure a long-term meal ticket for herself.
And the reason Qin Anran targeted He Mengtian was pure frustration, a planless act of venting anger!
Ironically, it was this melodramatic torturous romance plot that gave Gu Hong the opportunity to meet the real He Mengtian and discover his feelings for her!
The image of the White Moonlight goddess collapsed, with Gu Hong’s new anger (for trying to harm his true love He Mengtian) and old resentment (for deceiving him time and again, treating him as a fool and a scapegoat) combined, he ruthlessly dealt with Qin Anran.
The Qin family went bankrupt, Mr. Qin committed suicide by jumping off a building, and Mrs. Qin became depressed.
As for Qin Anran, the culprit, Gu Hong didn’t personally take action; he merely spread the fact that she had panda blood.
Soon after, Qin Anran disappeared and never appeared in the public eye again.
The evil female supporting character vanished, and Gu Hong began the difficult journey of pursuing his wife.
The author stopped writing here.
However, based on her earlier foreshadowing and the typical pattern of early romance novels, the ending is surely meant to be a Happy Ending (HE).
But now, the readers don’t like this kind of forced HE ending.
Even though the female lead He Mengtian wasn’t really subjected to liver cutting or kidney removal, the male lead did hurt her for the sake of a female supporting character.
She isn’t a Stockholm Syndrome patient, nor is she naturally inclined to be submissive; why should the female lead forgive someone who harmed her and even become a sweet, loving couple with him?!
In the past, such plots might have been adored by readers.
But now, even those who like deeply abusive romance and forced possession plots want to see a storyline like this:
Even if the female lead is forced by the male lead, she can hold on to her own heart and never fall in love with the male lead until her death!
Hence, the readers began leaving comments fervently, asking the author to finish the story and revise the ending.
Even if it’s not a Bad Ending (BE), the female lead should at least torture the male lead.
Novelist:... Not writing, not writing, just not writing! I haven’t even settled my graduation thesis yet!
Moreover, this stuff was written during her high school days, several years have passed, she’s long lost that kind of inspiration.
Forcibly continuing it and making it a dog’s tail continuation is worse than just leaving it eunuch-like.
Imperfection is also a form of beauty!
While the author pretends to be dead, readers flocked to the Dian Niang Book Library’s comment section to post threads.
Dian Niang Book Library does want to find a writer to continue the novel.
But there are way too many similar books on Dian Niang Book Library, they simply can’t manage it all.
The Evil Force’s website took advantage of this, bringing in a Wild Writer.
The Dian Niang System detected irregularities in this novel world, immediately adding this novel to the task list.
He Tiantian randomly drew this task.
"... Tsk, I thought I would transmigrate into Qin Anran!"
He Tiantian sat on the toilet lid, receiving the script, and couldn’t help but complain in her heart.
Throughout the entire novel, Qin Anran is the definite evil villain.
Even the substitute-loving Gu Hong is more of a top-grade weirdo than He Mengtian.
He Mengtian is probably the only relatively normal person in the original novel.
He Tiantian can’t say she’s always playing the villain, but she doesn’t usually get good roles.
She doesn’t really fit to be a kind-hearted female lead!
"So, is it possible that the Wild Writer transmigrated as Qin Anran, counterattacked the female lead, and then the originally kind and beautiful original female lead became a green tea b**** with scheming ways?"
He Tiantian’s mind whirled quickly.
Just based on the script she received, she roughly identified the Wild Writer’s identity.
Of course, He Tiantian wouldn’t make a conclusion easily; she still needs to verify.
