Chapter 133 - : Person Who Changed the Drugs
Chapter 133: Person Who Changed the Drugs
Xiao Ying told him she was in the military zone.
Cheng Yang frowned but said nothing. They agreed to have Cheng Yang come pick her up when she left.
Xiao Ying put down her phone. There were clearly more people patrolling around the ward than before.
The atmosphere in the entire space turned heavy.
The person in the ward suddenly moved. The nurse watching him quickly came out and shouted.
Commander Yang rushed over with his men.
Qin Yue followed behind him.
Seeing that he had woken up, Commander Yang quickly sealed the entire space, asking Xiao Ying to leave as well.
Before leaving, she looked at Major General Chen, who was beside Commander Yang. He did not look as happy as the others.
Xiao Ying fell into deep thought. Unlike Qin Yue, she thought the person who added drugs to the IV drip was a spy, not an outside enemy.
Qin Yue came to Xiao Ying’s side with a heavy expression. Clearly, he had gained nothing from the investigation. An unknown enemy was the most dangerous.
“Could it be someone from the military?” Xiao Ying asked.
Qin Yue subconsciously wanted to retort, but his expression suddenly changed as he thought of something. “I have something to deal with. Wait here.”
Xiao Ying nodded and he quickly left.
She walked around the military zone, bored. Suddenly, a group of soldiers ran over from behind. Xiao Ying did not think much of it at first, but when they stopped beside her, she realized that something was wrong.
They didn’t make things difficult for her. They just said, “We’re under the orders of the commander to invite Miss Xiao Ying over.”
Although they said that they were inviting her somewhere, Xiao Ying was locked in a room and placed under house arrest.
They had even confiscated her backpack and phone.
After an unknown period of time, Qin Yue’s voice sounded from outside, as if he was angry. Xiao Ying could not hear him clearly in the room, but she could vaguely hear him shouting something.
Xiao Ying did not panic. She surveyed her surroundings. The room was less than 20 square meters and was surrounded by grayish-white walls. There was only a small square window on the roof. There was a bed in the room and she was sitting on it.
After the sky darkened, Commander Yang brought someone over.
The person he brought was Major General Chen.
Commander Yang still had a gentle expression on his face as he said, “Miss Xiao Ying, I’m really sorry about this. However, that person’s identity is special, and anyone who has interacted with him must be monitored. Please cooperate with us.”
Xiao Ying’s expression was slightly cold as she said, “I haven’t interacted with him since he awoke.”
Major General Chen sneered, “Who knows if he was awake before that.”
Xiao Ying smiled in anger and said, “You’re burning the bridge after crossing it. Don’t forget that you were the ones who invited me to treat him.”
Major General Chen’s expression became even more arrogant. “The person who invited you was Qin Yue. He has nothing to do with us. If you want to look for him, look for him.”
Commander Yang’s expression was much more relaxed than before. It was obvious that he had obtained a lot of information from that conversation.
Xiao Ying ignored Major General Chen and looked at Commander Yang. “Is this how your military district treats its guests?”
Commander Yang smiled and said, “Miss Xiao Ying, I’ll have to let you suffer for a while, but we’ll compensate you in the future. You can enter the military hospital to work, and I can arrange for you to be the chief physician.”
These words were really shameless. Not only was Xiao Ying under house arrest, but they also wanted her for their personal use.
Xiao Ying said, “I don’t need to trouble you with that. I don’t want to enter the military hospital. What if I save another important person and get in trouble?”
Commander Yang frowned after seeing her look of disdain.
Major General Chen looked at Xiao Ying with hatred in his eyes. It was all because of her that he had been humiliated and almost lost his position as a major general.
