The Extra's Survival

The Sonic Gorilla’s Eyes was filled with emotions of disdain and anger.

Lucas looked at Sonic Gorilla and started to run back while it started to chase Lucas.

Lucas looked back to see Morgana had retreated to a safe distance but the Gorilla was coming closer to Lucas.

The Gorilla was already on his back but Lucas didn’t look frightened and stomped the ground to jump at the branch of the tree.

The Gorilla jumped towards the tree and slammed its body on the tree, uprooting the whole tree and blowing it away.

Lucas jumped into the air and slashed many wind blades at the Gorilla from the sky and then created a block of ice and kicked it to garner the momentum to push its body to a safe distance.

BOOOM!BOOOM!BOOOM!

A barrage of wind blades fell on the gorilla which slammed him down on the ground for a moment.

Roooaaarrr!!_.

A piercing shout like nothing before came from the monster. As the dust cloud dispersed, Lucas saw the gorilla bleeding from the arms while lying in a small crater that had been created due to wind blades.

Spurt after spurt of blood oozed out from the small cuts on the monster’s arms. Its blackish fur had been stained with blood.

The monster looked at Lucas with bloodshot eyes and roared ominously.

The muscles and veins on the Gorilla’s arms started to bulge outwards and a terrifying breath emerged from the gorilla.

“Shit!” Lucas cursed and activated flash steps and quickly jumped out.

BANG!

The ground crumbled and Lucas was thrown away due to the Gorilla’s attack as it appeared before Lucas.

Lucas rotated his body in the mid-air and landed on his feet while the gorilla appeared before and swung its fist.

Lucas just pulled his sword and poured all his strength and slashed at the incoming fist.

BOOOOOOOM!

The gorilla fist and Lucas’s sword collided and a huge shockwave burst out in the surroundings.

The ground under the monster’s feet cracked instantly while Lucas was directly sent flying back into the air thirty metres away.

His body slammed down on a tree knocking them down in the process and only after destroying two trees he was able to control himself and stop the momentum.

Lucas felt blood inside his body rushing up and he coughed a mouthful of blood.

He was shaken by the previous clash. Though Lucas wasn’t able to use all his strength, he still knew that he was in trouble and may die if things went on like this.

The Gorilla stomped the ground with a loud bang and charged toward Lucas like a cannonball.

Lucas saw the huge ominous shadow appearing before him, raising his arms.

Lucas’s blood boiled and instead of retreating he advanced covering his sword with a crimson glow.

The sword started to shine and the mana around him churned. Jumping towards him, he slashed his sword at the monster without holding back anything.

BOOOOOOOM!

A powerful explosion shook the entire place again as the opposing forces collided with each other trying to prove their superiority.

The Gorilla for the first time felt a tingling sensation on its fist as soon the crimson flash of arc collided with its fist and the shockwave generated from the attack pushed him back for three steps.

There was a big cut on its knuckles from which blood trickled down slowly.

While Lucas unlike previous times wasn’t blown away or sent flying rather he has just forced back fifteen steps back.

Although he wasn’t shaken by the collision still it made his hands numb with a slight ache which made him realize that this monster is superior to him in strength.

Lucas suddenly thought something and checked his sword hurriedly with a panicked expression.

Fortunately, there were no chips or cracks on it and there were no bends.

He sighed in relief seeing his sword alright as he feared that his sword may be broken by the fight giving him a heart attack.

The image of the Gorilla blurred, startling Lucas as it charged furiously and swung its huge log-like arms on Lucas.

Lucas activated flash steps which barely gave him some time to react. Lucas used the phantom reversal technique and quickly tilted his body at a strange angle and just barely avoided the fists taking advantage of the good speed, he fiercely raised his left arm and punched directly at the beast’s stomach while he somersaulted using the right arm as a fulcrum.

BANG!

The monster opened its mouth seemingly about to roar out of pain.

But Lucas thought that it was going to attack and use the previous sound attack and landing on its feet, thrust his sword multiple times at the times in a blink of an eye.

Lucas did multiple stabs which didn’t inflict deep damage but the monster’s body was thrown slightly off the ground due to accumulated damage.

The monster felt a slight pain in its body and even after suffering some damage it didn’t back away rather the golden lines on its chest started to glow.

Lucas’s eyes glowed and being startled he quickly backed away.

However, the gorilla beat its chest furiously and roared just then and a powerful sound wave assaulted Lucas, throwing him away.

For a moment, Lucas felt the world around him spinning and his eardrum burst out due to the high-intensity sound with a heavy headache. He was literally on the stage of bleeding blood from his ear.

Lucas didn’t know how to react as this was the first time he had been in such a situation.

The Gorilla saw this and swept again and it seemed that the monster knew nothing except to swing its huge thick log-like arms to crush the enemies.

Lucas was caught off guard and he raised both of his arms to block the attack while trying to bend his body to dodge it narrowly but he wasn’t able to make it.

CRACK!

Lucas was struck by the incoming attack and his body was sent away like a ragdoll rolling on the ground.

“Arghhhhhhh!” A painful groan escaped from his lips and he raised his hand and could feel that bones had been crushed.

He was fortunate that the monster strike didn’t destroy his arm.
