"You are... a member of the Starlight Family."

She studied the emblem more carefully. This was not a normal one.

She asked hesitantly, "Sir, are you a core family member?"

I nodded, and she immediately nodded with respect.

"Then, sir, you can have the highest-tier room free of charge."

My eyes twitched as I said, "It’s okay. I’ll pay. It’s no big deal."

This time, her eyes twitched because of how casually I said it was no big deal.

Then I checked my bank account. I’d never checked it before because I’d never had to pay for anything. Amy always took care of everything.

As soon as I checked it, I saw an astronomical number that I couldn’t even read.

The transfer history showed that Mom, Astrid, Amy, and even Grandma had sent me astronomical amounts of money.

Luna saw me staring at my bank account while completely out of it.

She came closer and asked, "What’s wrong, Gray? Do you have enough money? I have some, too, if you don’t..."

She saw what I was staring at, and her eyes twitched.

"What the hell is that, Gray? Is that a bank account or an entire national treasury?"

I scratched my head. "I don’t know, either. Mom and the others keep sending me money so I won’t have to ask for it or go out to get some."

Luna’s eyes twitched.

"How are you going to spend all of that? I can’t even read that number."

I just smiled and said, "Okay, where should I pay?"

She nodded respectfully and showed me a machine.

"Move your bracelet over it and pay here."

I nodded. I’d seen Amy pay before, so I moved my bracelet over the machine, and a beep sounded as the payment was successful.

Then the remaining balance appeared on the screen.

When the receptionist saw it, she almost fainted at how absurd the number was.

However, she maintained her professional smile and immediately gave us two key cards.

"You can take these and go to the top floor. You can choose any room you like, as there isn’t just one room available to you. You have access to multiple bedrooms and facilities."

We nodded, took the key cards, and went to the top floor.

The receptionist watched our backs with curiosity, wondering who we were to have that much money and be core members of the Starlight Family.

She made a mental note never to offend us.

Finally, we reached the top floor and saw four doors.

I looked at Luna and asked, "Which room do you want?"

She just shrugged. "Any one."

But I noticed that one room was already occupied because its door showed a red light.

A staff member had followed us to see if we needed anything. She noticed our banter and simple nature.

She thought to herself, Hmm, at least this time I got good nobles. They’re almost childlike.

We hadn’t removed our cloaks, so it was reasonable to assume we were adults. After all, our heights were almost those of adults.

Then I looked at Luna.

"Hey, take that cloak off. No one is going to stare at you."

She glared at me.

The staff member thought the girl must have some problem since she was hiding her face.

Luna said, "Then you remove yours."

I just shrugged. "I don’t care about that. I only put it on because you left yours on."

As I removed my cloak, the staff member stared at me and subconsciously nodded.

"Yeah, that’s a Starlight member."

Then she looked at Luna as she removed her cloak as well. Her eyes widened when she saw snow-white hair cascading down, shaded with icy blue.

The moment she saw Luna’s face, she felt like a country bumpkin.

She had a certain degree of confidence in her own beauty, but compared to Luna, she felt completely outclassed.

She thought to herself again, Nah, no harm until you start comparing yourself.

She smiled bitterly as she noticed how young we looked.

Then she complimented Luna.

"Miss, you are really beautiful."

"No, the most beautiful, I’d say."

Luna smiled at that and thanked her. Then she looked at me.

"See? My beauty is unmatched. You should be honored to be engaged to me."

She snorted.

I just rolled my eyes and thought, It’s a fact. What am I supposed to say?

Then the staff member asked, "If you don’t mind, may I ask how old you two are?"

She was already shocked by the engagement.

Luna blinked and said, "Twelve. Why?"

The staff member’s eyes twitched.

"Twelve?"

We nodded.

"We decided to explore the world."

She nodded and didn’t ask any further questions.

She knew her limits.

We finally chose a room and went inside. It was luxurious, with a window overlooking the entire city.

Luna and I went over to it, and I asked her, "Do you want to see the city from outside the window?"

Her eyes lit up as she nodded.

"Hmm, that seems fun."

The staff member looked at us and thought, Ah, is there a way to go outside? I’ve never seen that before.

Then an absurd thought came to her mind, and she panicked.

"Excuse me, what are you trying to do?"

I looked at her and said, "Ah, don’t worry. We won’t break anything."

She let out a massive sigh of relief.

Then I said, "You can go now. We can figure out the other stuff ourselves."

She looked a little hesitant but nodded.

As she was about to leave, I remembered something.

Ah, a tip! I forgot. She didn’t even have to do anything extra for us.

Ah, whatever. I have too much money anyway.

So I took out a silver coin. It wasn’t too much or too little, and I gave it to her.

Her eyes widened.

"But I didn’t do anything."

I just waved a hand.

"It’s okay. We like quiet."

She nodded, took the silver coin, and left the room.

I extended my hand toward Luna, and she smiled as she placed her hand in mine.

I used Space Magic to teleport us outside and created a Space Barrier, allowing us to stand in the air.

We could feel the breeze as Luna looked around. She then created her own platform and stepped onto it.

I stopped her.

"Wait, do you want to do something fun?"

Her eyes lit up, and she nodded.

Then I touched her shoulder and said, "Don’t resist."

She nodded as I lowered her gravity.

Then I said, "Try jumping."

She jumped and basically floated in the air.

She stabilized herself in the air using a light platform coated with Light Aura.

She tried floating around more and smiled a bright, happy smile that could overthrow a kingdom.

I watched her from within my Space Barrier.

She was enjoying this a lot.

We had lots of fun as she moved freely like the wind.

After we’d had enough fun, I teleported us back to the hotel room and looked at her.

"So, how was it? I told you it was really fun."

She nodded, her bright blue eyes practically shining.

Then I said, "Okay, go and get some rest. Tomorrow, let’s explore more. Every room here has most of the facilities, so choose one and go. I’ll take one, too."

She nodded as I looked at my shadow.

"If you want, take the other rooms and rest."

The shadow guards’ eyes widened. They had been hiding perfectly in the shadows, yet I’d noticed them with just one look.

Then they remembered who I was and sighed.

They appeared and said, "Young Master, we need to ensure your and the princess’s safety above all else."

I nodded, thought for a moment, and said, "It’s up to you. Make arrangements and rest as you please."

They nodded and disappeared into the shadows.

I couldn’t just let them rest and endanger Luna.

I went to my room and took a nice bath.

"Ah, this is the life."

I almost fell asleep in there.

Then I got out after refreshing myself and changed into a new set of clothes.

After that, I went to wait for Luna so we could explore more of the place.

Once Luna had freshened up and changed into a new set of clothes, she came out as well. We went to the hotel’s food section and saw a variety of food options.

For guests of our tier, they even had personal chefs who could prepare food according to our requests.

Luna just wanted to enjoy the normal options, so we got two plates and filled them with the food we liked.

Many people looked at us because of our high appearances.

But we were used to that by now. As soon as they saw Luna, unconscious smiles appeared on everyone’s faces.

I also looked at Luna, who usually carried herself like an ice flower, but today, her face was filled with smiles.

We ate together at a table.

We talked about what to do next. We couldn’t just stay here.

Then I looked at Luna and asked the question.

"OCEANCREST or FROSTVALE?"

I thought Luna would think about it for a long time, but she immediately said, "FROSTVALE."

My eyes widened, but I understood. She liked snow.

As for the Oceancrest Family, even if we went there, we didn’t think we’d be able to meet Elara. She must have gone off to do her own training as well.

"Okay, then our next destination is the Frostvale Family domain."

Luna smiled. "Why are you being so dramatic now?"

I snorted. "I’m always like this."

She laughed even more.
