The Extinction Healer of the Beast Husbands
Chapter 80: Ch 80. Get ready, Lion King
Dorven’s eyes widened at Selena’s blunt remark. Selena’s expression was completely neutral as she asked him to have sex—was this woman serious?
"Why?" Selena asked, setting down her glass after taking a sip. "You don’t look like you want to do it. Do you have a problem with that, Lion King?"
"No, of course not," Dorven replied quickly, causing Selena to look at him as he grimaced slightly. "I’m just surprised you said it so casually. I thought you’d be shy—since a lot of people say women are usually more shy about things like this."
Selena snorted softly. "I am shy, but why should I be? Besides, I’m saying this for a mission, not because of love," she replied, silencing Dorven. "Do you love Tyra? If so, you might want to reconsider our relationship after this."
Dorven looked at her with a puzzled expression, while Selena had already picked up a snack from the table and was eating it casually.
"I know the problem you’ll face is very serious because you have to deal with your uncle, who controls the lion military. You need to do something to get back at him; that way, it’ll be easier to control them," Selena explained. "Only by winning over his daughter can you push her father back."
Dorven sighed after understanding what Selena had said. "But that’s not the way of a lion," he replied casually, causing Selena to raise an eyebrow. "My uncle feels he can control me because I can’t just let my emotions run wild. If I resolve this issue, controlling them won’t be difficult."
"Oh? Do you already have a plan?"
"Yes, I’ve been working on it these past few days while waiting for you to treat me," Dorven replied, smiling as he looked at Selena. "You don’t need to worry—the lion army will return to their commander. And I am their supreme commander."
Selena let out a soft sigh and finally nodded. "All right, then I just need to heal you; I’ll leave the rest to you," she replied, taking another sip of her drink. "But going back to what I said earlier, if you want to remarry anyone or anything like that, I’ll allow it. We can part ways amicably; I’ll still help you if you need it, even if our relationship isn’t the same anymore."
Dorven watched her as she stood up, and he followed suit. "Selena, I don’t love you yet, but I never thought I’d get a divorce from you," he said, causing Selena to raise an eyebrow. "If you really don’t intend to love me, that’s fine. Maybe our relationship will still be that of husband and wife, but our interactions can be different if you’re not comfortable. Status is just a status; I won’t force you to act like a husband and wife. We might be able to act like siblings after all this is over if that’s what you want."
Selena fell silent upon hearing his words. "You mean after we make love, once you’re healed, we’ll just act like brother and sister right away?" she asked, causing Dorven to nod hesitantly.
"I don’t want to say the same thing, but there’s one thing that makes me doubt that."
"What? Just say it."
Dorven swallowed, moistening his lips for a moment before speaking. "The God said that besides becoming my wife and healing us, you must also bear our children, who will be our next heirs. The God said that no one but you can do this—maybe we can talk about this again later," he said, causing Selena to sigh.
The god of the world of Eldoria, whom her husbands trusted, seemed to truly enjoy tormenting Selena. All the burdens were placed on her, leaving her unable to breathe.
What was wrong with her responsibility ending once she finished treating them? Why did it have to be stated that Selena had to bear children to serve as heirs for her husbands again?
It was exhausting just to think about it, but it wasn’t an urgent matter she needed to dwell on. Selena could think about it later; now that the task of healing her husbands was complete, she’d be better off putting this matter aside for the time being.
"Did my words offend you?" Dorven asked cautiously, looking at Selena, who immediately shook her head.
"The future is uncertain; I don’t want to answer that right now because nothing is clear yet. The important thing is to heal you first—you’ve stayed silent long enough while your uncle did whatever he pleased. Once I’ve healed all of you, then we’ll talk about it again," he said calmly, making Dorven smile.
"All right, I understand."
A look of relief was visible on his face; Selena really couldn’t guess what the man actually wanted from her. What was certain was that she had offered them a choice—it was up to them whether they accepted it or not.
"All right then, get ready. Come to my room at the Lion Palace tonight; I want to rest for a bit in my room before coming back here this afternoon," Selena said, causing Dorven to nod.
"If you need anything, just let me know. I’ll have it ready before tonight," he replied, feeling a bit awkward about saying "make love" outright.
Come on, he wasn’t as blunt as Selena. As king, he’d always had his own rules when it came to speaking—though when he was cursing in a fit of anger, he sometimes went too far without realizing it.
"If I need anything, Vee or the fox servant will come to you. Finish up your business so tonight won’t be interrupted. Do your best because your recovery also depends on how you make love to me," she replied, causing Dorven to nod even though his ears were burning.
"Damn, hearing Selena say the word ’make love’ so casually is actually turning me on a bit," Dorven muttered to himself.
"I’m leaving now," Selena said, then walked away casually. "See you tonight. Make sure your cousin doesn’t bother you."
"Okay, I’ll make sure of that."
Selena gave a small smile without looking back. Dorven watched her with a pleased expression, his gaze following her until her back turned and she was out of sight.
"I’ll do my best, because tonight will be the deciding factor for a few things. We’ll talk about the rest later; I need to keep my emotions in check to handle the situation."
Dorven appeared calm, but secretly he was overjoyed that his patience had paid off. After Selena recovered her healing abilities, no other man had ever received treatment from her medicines or potions. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂
Unlike the four other men who had already received treatment from Selena, Dorven hadn’t yet—which is why he was a little surprised and still couldn’t quite believe it when Selena immediately invited him to make love.
Meanwhile, Selena claimed that making love with her was one of her primary forms of healing. Wasn’t Dorven quite lucky that he didn’t have to argue or deal with Selena’s potions, which might taste bitter and unpleasant?
But Dorven had also never given Selena valuable gifts like the woman’s four husbands had. This time he had to prepare well, because Selena had already offered a second option: if they didn’t love her, they could give her wealth or valuable items as a token of gratitude or in return.
So...
"Servants!" Dorven called out, folding his arms behind his back with an air of authority.
Two of the Lion’s servants immediately walked in, bowing to him before asking.
"Is there anything you need from us, Your Majesty?"
Dorven looked at them and gave a small smile. "Ask the lion advisors to accompany you, open my private storeroom, take out all the valuable items, and choose two of the very best. Then bring them to the Queen’s chamber in my palace tonight. Also, prepare the Queen’s chamber tonight—make it as nice as possible," he said, causing the two lion servants to nod obediently.
After thinking for a moment, Dorven shook his head. "Tell Jops to go home and take care of the rest of my work for today. I’ll go to the storeroom and choose a gift for him myself—call my aide who holds the key to my treasure storeroom," said Dorven as he walked away, followed by the two attendants.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
"Also summon the renowned interior designer from the Lion clan to make the Queen’s room comfortable and to her liking. Prepare some delicious dishes for dinner as well—call the best chef in the Lion clan. After selecting a precious treasure for her, I will personally oversee everything I’ve instructed," he said, causing the two attendants to nod once more.
Once Dorven had nothing more to say, they left to carry out their tasks. Meanwhile, Dorven was already smiling radiantly as he walked toward his storeroom.

"Your Majesty, King Lion has sent a message saying that tonight he wishes to have dinner in your room at his palace. So, there’s no need to have dinner here," Vee said, causing Selena to nod in understanding as she turned the page of the book she was reading.
"Let the other kings know I’ll be staying at King Lion’s palace tonight. There’s no need for them to wait for me to have dinner with them," she replied casually.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Selena glanced at her briefly. "Please bring me more storybooks and history books about Eldoria like these; I enjoy reading them in my free time," she said, making Vee smile and nod.
"I’ll visit the Eldorian authors and select the best books for you."
"Go ahead."
Vee nodded and walked away, leaving Selena immersed in her book as she waited for night to fall.
But before long, her bedroom door opened. Stoner stepped inside and immediately approached Selena.
"Wolf King, do you need something?" Selena asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Are you going to make love to Dorven tonight, Selena?"
