The Exiled Alpha's Human Male Mate.[BL]
Chapter 103: Lingering Kisses.
The embrace grew tighter with every passing moment until Bryce completely lost sight of what had originally made him keep his distance from Vincent.
He could hardly believe how swiftly his resolve to return solely because of the pheromones had been reduced to nothing.
His hands shifted from where they had settled, moving almost restlessly over Vincent’s body.
The firmness beneath his palms only intensified the thoughts he was struggling to suppress. He wanted to pull Vincent closer, to let Vincent hold him firmly and surround him completely with his strength, until there was no room left for anything else.
He was barely holding himself together.
For a fleeting moment, a thought surfaced in his mind. He wanted to ask Vincent if he would mind calling Dave into the room, allowing the three of them to put aside their worries about everything else and simply have each other as they wanted.
He was just about to speak when Vincent’s phone rang from inside his pocket.
Bryce groaned inwardly.
Vincent’s reaction was far less restrained. His groan escaped aloud, sharp with irritation, carrying enough weight to make the sound almost dangerous.
The interruption broke through Bryce’s haze, and even after Vincent silenced the phone and returned to the embrace, Bryce shifted uncomfortably against him.
What had he almost suggested?
What had made him so certain that Vincent would even consider something like that? Even if it wasn’t about sharing him, but simply about the nature of the relationship itself.
Vincent had started treating Dave differently, yes.
He had protected him, helped him, and allowed him to remain in the house. But none of that meant Vincent would want something like that.
What if admitting that he didn’t want to choose, that unexpectedly, he wanted the three of them to be together, made Vincent look at him differently?
The thought left him unsettled.
Would wanting two men make them feel as though they weren’t enough for him? Could they begin to believe there was something wrong with him because he couldn’t be satisfied with just one man.
Bryce pressed his lips firmly together.
"What’s wrong?"
Vincent’s voice drew him back. He raised his head slightly, looking down at Bryce with a questioning expression.
Bryce hesitated before finally speaking.
"The longer we stay like this, the harder it becomes to control what I want. So let’s stop."
The honesty in his own words startled him.
Telling Vincent directly that he was what he wanted was almost embarrassing and he wished he had not said it like that.
Vincent looked as though he couldn’t understand why Bryce was hesitating if he wanted him so badly.
But everything was way complicated than that.
The two men were driving him utterly insane.
Bryce could not keep living inside this uncertainty, constantly trying to decide which of them mattered more when the truth was that he did not want to lose either one despite of everything.
In that moment, he made a decision.
He would sit them both down and tell them everything.
He could not choose one and abandon the other.
He wanted the three of them together.
And if either Vincent or Dave refused, then Bryce would have to accept that he might lose that person, or both of them.
The thought alone terrified him.
For some reason, though, he was almost certain Dave would agree.
Vincent was already affecting him, despite the fact that they had spent only a day and a night under the same roof, with Vincent protecting him, helping him, and refusing to abandon him despite everything that stood between them.
Bryce could see it in the way Dave reacted to Vincent, and he wasn’t entirely sure what to make of his own response.
Was he jealous? Perhaps, to some extent.
More than that, though, he felt insecure.
Dave claimed to love him deeply and insisted that he didn’t want anyone else, yet he was already being affected by Vincent in a romantic way after such a short time, simply because Vincent had been there for him.
But what Bryce refused to convince himself of was that Dave had stopped loving him simply because he was developing feelings for Vincent.
Bryce still had feelings for Dave himself, while his own feelings for Vincent were already developing with rapidly.
He could not bring himself to judge Dave for that.
He decided to voice his thoughts and see where they led. The idea still frightened him, though, because he couldn’t shake the fear that Vincent might reject it.
As much as he wanted Dave, Vincent was different.
He needed him for so many reasons, both because of the supernatural circumstances binding them and because of the new feelings for him that were beginning to emerge.

After Bryce explained how difficult it was becoming to control what he wanted, Vincent couldn’t suppress the urge to ask again what he was planning. Still, rather than press Bryce for an answer, he let the question go unanswered and leaned closer, pressing his lips to Bryce’s.
The kiss was meant to be brief, but it lasted far longer than either of them seemed to intend. Vincent finally drew back, his breathing slightly heavier than before.
"Prepare and come for breakfast. I think it has arrived," he murmured.
Bryce simply nodded, his body still burning with the desire he had been struggling to control.
Vincent did not leave immediately.
Even after Bryce nodded, he stayed close, his gaze fixed on him for another moment before leaning in once more.
His lips found Bryce’s again, while his warm palm settled against Bryce’s soft cheek. The tenderness of the gesture made the kiss feel even more difficult to break.
Only after another lingering moment did Vincent finally pull away and rise from the bed and hesitantly walked out of the room.
The door had barely closed behind him before Bryce’s hand slipped beneath his pajamas, closing around his aching erection as his eyes fell shut.
He moved his hand over himself, trying to quiet the overwhelming tension that had built inside him.
With his eyes closed, his imagination ran wild.
He pictured himself between Vincent and Dave, the three of them together in the same bed, surrounded by the heat of their shared desire.
He imagined their hands on him, the closeness of their bodies, and the impossible intimacy he had been trying so desperately to deny.
The image only fanned the flames of his desire, driving it to an intensity that made his hand move faster along his cock, his rhythm accelerating as the fantasy took complete possession of his thoughts.
