Darkness emerged from the center of the explosion, swallowing the light and everything in its path. It spread outward at terrifying speed, traversing the fabric of space like a highly contagious virus.

Kers Time also maintained his distance, observing the spreading darkness.

Souta looked at the two of them, anticipation gleaming in his eyes. Darkness swirled around his sword while blood-colored lightning flashed across the sky.

"I’m quite excited, you know? I’m sure the two of you will be able to handle me!"

With those words, Souta launched himself toward Kers Time and Thousand Earth.

Behind him, a vast tide of darkness surged forward at the same time, following in his wake like a monstrous shadow.
