Chapter 635: Chapter 633: Will of the Divine Format’s Genesis

Recovery Temple, deep within the great hall.

An uninvited guest has arrived.

Ze Lishalin turned around and looked at the newcomer.

“You, you’ve come.”

You Jelieya nodded.

“I’ve come. I sensed it.”

Ze Lishalin sighed softly, “Yes, I sensed it too, the ‘flood’ is almost drained, we can continue.”

You Jelieya glanced at the corridor not far away, his eyes reflecting a complex and hesitant light.

“Can we really succeed? Can the great Haroldias truly be awakened from slumber?”

“Of course! We, as His followers, know well of His might. How can you be so uncertain?”

Ze Lishalin took the lead towards the corridor.

“From the moment we agreed to hand over a piece of divine fragment to that guy, there is no turning back for us. Let’s go, greet the Gods.”

“Awakening the Gods is just the first step.” You Jelieya sighed.

“Indeed, the great Haroldias, to prevent calamity from surfacing, personally slumbered beneath this land, binding all pollution with Himself. What we can do is to let this ocean-like pool of pollution slowly drain over five hundred years until it can awaken Him.” Ze Lishalin’s eyes held a reminiscent expression.

The two slowly moved forward, passing through the Recovery Temple’s special subspace passage, entering the core of the array hidden deep beneath the Elf Forest.

Unbeknownst to them, the real uninvited guest was trailing behind them, quietly eavesdropping on their conversation.

When they mentioned the name Haroldias, Hilia furrowed her brow, a hint of a hypothesis forming.

She took a careful look at You Jelieya, pondering.

“This You Jelieya, he seems somewhat familiar.”

“Letes City.” Rose said faintly.

“I remember now, it’s the unfortunate guy whose magic puppet got messed up by Master Rose’s cannon. The Heart of the Magic Puppet I’m using now was obtained from him.”

Hilia recalled.

And she also thought of a question.

“Wait a minute, according to the Holy Court’s data, You Jelieya should be the one in power of the Dusk Sect, self-proclaimed as Deadpool. Why is his magic puppet of the life attribute? Logically, wouldn’t a death attribute be more suitable?”

Rose said flatly, “You’ll find out soon enough.”

“Huh? Really?” Hilia blinked, “I was just casually saying it.”

Hilia continued to follow the two.

Ahead, as the two progressed, they were speaking in a nostalgic tone about what they had done over the past five hundred years.

“Do you remember, You, when we first came into being and learned about His fate…”

“Yes, His divine format was tampered with by the Evil God and divided into life and death attributes, birthing you and me. If not for that Legendary Mage stepping forward and aiding us, we’d still be puppets of that Evil God.”

“Evil God?” Hilia glanced at Rose beside her.

Rose replied testily, “The Evil God they’re referring to is the one that harmed Haroldias. This was an event late in the Era of Calamity. Do you think it has anything to do with me?”

Hilia made a face, “Hehe, no connection, no connection.”

She looked back at You Jelieya and Ze Lishalin, her gaze complicated.

From their nostalgic words, she gleaned abundant information.

In comparison, the fact that the ‘God of Death’ worshipped by the Dusk Sect and the ‘God of Life’ venerated by the Recovery Temple were, in reality, the God of Life and Death Haroldias, wasn’t all that surprising.

You Jelieya and Ze Lishalin, could they truly be independent wills born from Haroldias’s divine format?

Rose’s voice reached Hilia’s ear: “Incorrect, they both are born relying on the divine format, not living beings condensed from it.”

“Huh? Is there a difference?”

“Of course there’s a difference. The divine format belongs to the Gods and cannot give birth to independent wills. Even if the Divine King meddles, it still can’t happen because a divine format inherently represents the will of the Gods.”

“Could it be a split personality or something…”

“It’s possible, but highly improbable. Also, whether or not a divine format can birth a will, I can tell.” Rose said flatly, “These two were born using the two authorities of the God of Life and Death to create elemental beings. Hence, strictly speaking, the God of Life and Death is like their father and mother.”

“However, unlike other elemental beings, they look just like normal humans, due to the powers of life and death. They possess more than one life, and upon accidental death, their souls will return, reassembling their bodies to be reborn.”

Rose’s eyes were profound, closely studying You Jelieya and Ze Lishalin.

“With someone’s help, they have broken free from the constraints of the Divine King and become ‘free agents’.”

“So, the Evil God they refer to is actually God King Zeus.”

“What?”

Hilia was taken aback.

“Really?”

“Who knows.” Rose smiled slightly, “But it won’t be long before we find out.”

The corridor was long, additionally, You Jelieya and Ze Lishalin deliberately walked slowly, seemingly reminiscing on the arduousness over these lengthy years.

“I wonder where that Legendary Mage is right now, or where He might be. But luckily, before we exhausted our chances of rebirth, we finally succeeded.”

“We can’t relax yet. We’ve only completed the preparatory work; the true examination has just begun.”

Gradually, the two returned to the core of the array deep underground.

The divine fragment representing the life attribute was still there, quietly serving as the array’s cornerstone, restraining the vast pollution.

Upon reaching underground, they saw a shadowy figure before them.

“Hmph, arriving even earlier than us, are you that eager?” Ze Lishalin remarked coolly.

“Of course, with such generous remuneration from you, naturally, I’d arrive on time.” The shadowy figure replied indifferently.

Hilia also reached this place, feeling somewhat tense.

Because these individuals before her were emanating powerful auras, she feared being accidentally exposed.

Exposed before these three, Hilia considered herself to have no resistance, to the point of being overwhelmed by them.

Despite her nervousness, she was also somewhat curious.

“Is this the person Lord Rose saw when he came before?”

Rose nodded, “Yes, it’s him.”

Rose didn’t reveal the identity of the other person to Hilia.

Neither Ashugar nor Ze Lishalin mentioned Ashugar’s name during their exchange, so Hilia didn’t know this person was Ashugar.

Then again, it didn’t matter if she knew.

Rose silently watched Ashugar and shook his head.

“Let me see what you are planning this time.”
