Near Southern Border City, ancient castle labyrinth ruins.

Ashugar appeared outside the ruins, looking at the mercenaries coming and going and the settlement built around the pond, shaking his head.

"You really haven't changed your eccentric tastes."

From the faces of the mercenaries, Ashugar could discern the situation inside the ruins.

Those entering were chatting and laughing, while those exiting appeared confused, tortured to the point of losing their senses.

This ruin had high-level restrictions, but for Ashugar, it wasn't an issue.

He suppressed his aura, disguising himself as a low-level mage, and entered the ruins.

Subsequently, he released his aura, allowing Jonathan to detect it.

Soon, the three-dimensional labyrinth before him changed rapidly, a straight avenue leading directly to the heights of the ancient castle.

Ashugar walked over slowly, soon arriving at the height and seeing Jonathan outside the highest level of the castle, staring coldly at him.

"Why are you here?"

"Of course, to see my old friend."

Jonathan's expression was indifferent: "Say what you have to say, but don't expect me to help. I won't provide any assistance with your methods."

Ashugar ignored Jonathan's attitude, entered the tower, and sat face to face with Jonathan.

No drinks were laid out on the table, prompting Ashugar to say, "I'm here to talk to you about two matters."

"Speak," Jonathan looked at him indifferently, "but I may not listen."

"Firstly, have you welcomed a girl?"

Jonathan's eyes flickered, "What are you trying to say?"

Ashugar slowly said, "You may not know what happened outside. Some time ago, the Northern Alliance hosted a Mage League, the Polar Blood Alliance disrupted the Mage League, summoning the Abyss Gate, which was closed by a girl using a Purification Skill before it fully opened."

Jonathan listened without speaking.

Ashugar continued, "Shortly thereafter, the Holy Court launched a siege against the Deep Sea Mutual Aid Association. During this siege, the girl used another Purification Skill that possessed a high purification efficiency against the abyss's pollution, assisting the Holy Court in smoothly dealing with the Deep Sea Mutual Aid Association."

Jonathan smirked playfully, "Oh, that's a good thing. If I recall correctly, the Deep Sea Mutual Aid Association is a sect secretly cultivated by the Sea God? Tsk, tsk, tsk, the Sea God always seems to be the first to suffer."

Ashugar looked at Jonathan seriously, asking, "The Purification Skill used by that girl is the special purification technique developed by Lord Rose when we were plagued by the abyss. Was it you who taught her?"

Jonathan looked at Ashugar in surprise.

The two fell silent.

Moments later, Jonathan suddenly laughed.

"Why would you think it was me who taught her?"

Ashugar said, "If not you, then who? Lord Rose?"

"What if it really was Lord Rose?" Jonathan chuckled.

Ashugar shook his head, not believing Jonathan, and said, "The other matter is, I hope when I reach the eighth level, you will assist me in obtaining the Ice God's divine format."

Jonathan slowly retracted his smile, "Are you sure? The eighth level? It's not that simple to achieve. Even with my assistance...how can I help? My tricks are of no use to the Ice God blessed by the Pantheon, and how do you know the Ice God is truly dead?"

"I'm not asking you to go in with me and die, you just need to assist outside. I'll bring out the complete divine format and provide a suitable summoner for you. All you have to do is help her complete the summoning and protect her from the interference of other gods."

"Is that so?"

Jonathan smiled at Ashugar, whose expression was serious, not expecting Jonathan to refuse.

However, after Jonathan's smile, he languidly said, "But I refuse."

Ashugar's expression froze.

Jonathan thought of that girl, who easily summoned Rose; the Master of the Starry Sky could already influence this world. Jonathan believed Rose had his own plans, and any actions they took might have the opposite effect.

If it were the old Ashugar, Jonathan would have shared this information with him.

But after knowing Ashugar had used Alina, constantly extracting her blood and was involved with the Twelve Apostles, even if Ashugar claimed it was to summon Rose, he no longer treated him as he once did.

If it hadn't been for the pressure Rose exerted when he appeared, which the girl couldn't withstand, Jonathan would have already informed Rose of Ashugar's evil deeds.

However, Jonathan knew that even if he didn't say anything, Rose would find out.

"Ashugar, as fellow apostles, I'll advise you one last time: don't continue your plan. You're utilizing the Twelve Main Gods' sect; how do you know the Main Gods behind the sect aren't using you? You're extracting Alina's blood to deal with the Ice God; next, will you extract my blood or Raphael's to deal with another god?"

Jonathan's voice returned to its cold tone: "Sacrificing companions to perform a theoretically possible ritual is not as good as searching for Sea God Ethel's true form and stealing his divine format."

"Ethel is hidden in the Sea of Tranquility, can't be found," Ashugar replied.

Jonathan shook his head, "Stop it, Lord Rose will not condone you harming your own people to deal with enemies. I believe Lord Rose, it won't be long before he breaks free and leads us back to Star Fall, into the stars."

"Passive waiting is not my style." Ashugar stood up and walked out, "Enough, since you want to continue hiding in this desolate place, then do as you please."

"Aren't you afraid Lord Rose will execute you?"

"No matter, if he returns, I'd even be willing to be sacrificed for him."

"..."

Jonathan watched Ashugar leave and did not stop him.

A look of indecision flashed across his face.

In the end, he sighed and shook his head.

"Why bother? Your actions clearly show you don't believe in the invincible Lord Rose. How could the great Master of the Starry Sky be trapped by a group of despicable guys?"

He sat on the wide chair, his fingers absent-mindedly tapping the table.

"Ashugar visited because of that girl's Purification Skill; he might have thought it was taught by Lord Rose but ultimately deemed it impossible…"

"It seems under Lord Rose's guidance, that girl has already done many great things, and next, Raphael should also come."

Jonathan pondered for a moment and shook his head.

"Raphael is even more extreme towards Lord Rose than Ashugar. Even though she hasn't committed irrational acts like Ashugar, she can't easily be told about Lord Rose."

"Apart from Raphael, others...Dolovaster, forget it, the old guy is lazier than I am, probably doesn't even know the news."

"Faruga, only this guy could be spoken to, but...is Faruga still alive?"
