The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2560 Journey into the Tenth Empyrean World (II)

Chapter 2560 Journey into the Tenth Empyrean World (II)

"He?"

A menacing light appeared in Anark's eyes as he processed the way Noah had referred to the King of the Tenth Empyrean World.

"It seems you possess knowledge about the nature of my future opponent."

Noah simply smiled, his expression calm and unreadable, revealing nothing of what lay beneath.

"I know some things," he replied casually, "but I won't tell you. I might not be on his side, but I don't intend to over-antagonize him either."

For a brief moment, his smile faded. In its place, a solemn intensity emerged. His eyes ignited with a golden radiance so brilliant it was almost blinding as he fixed his gaze on Anark.

"I can tell you this much," Noah continued, his voice lowering. "You have a chance of defeating him-if you manage to isolate the battlefield. But make even a single mistake..."

A pause followed, heavy with meaning.

"...and you will die. That much, I can guarantee."

The next second, the golden light vanished as if it had never existed. Noah's usual smile returned, light and almost carefree, as he turned away.

"Well then," he said with a shrug, "I guess I'm back to leading. Good luck-you'll need it."

With those final words, the NeoPrimarch dissolved into the Endless River, his form merging with the flow of reality itself before fading completely from sight.

Silence followed.

Meylin and Anark glanced at each other, neither speaking for a moment. Then, as if guided by the same unspoken understanding, they adopted solemn expressions. They clasped their hands and bowed deeply to one another.

It was the farewell of warriors.

They were not bound by blood, but by something far stronger-the battlefield. The countless struggles they had endured together had forged a bond that did not require words.

Without saying anything further, Meylin turned and departed as well, her figure vanishing into the distance. The True Depravita of Original Sin left behind only a faint echo of her presence.

Soon, Anark stood alone.

The True Primordial inhaled deeply, his gaze drifting across the vast expanse around him. Now that his cultivation had evolved, every aspect of his existence had transcended alongside it. His perception had grown to an extraordinary level-powerful enough to pierce through layers of reality and reach the distant strongholds where the forces of the Alliance prepared for the next great battle.

He could feel them.

Their determination.

Their will to fight.

Their unwavering desire to protect their homes.

Yet beneath it all, hidden in the depths of their hearts, there was something else.

Fear.

None of them wanted to die. They wanted to live-to grow, to explore, to witness the boundless wonders the universe had to offer. That fear was natural. It was not something to be ashamed of.

Even beings like Anark... and Cain... were not free from it.

But what set them apart was not the absence of fear.

It was how they faced it.

When fear came, they did not flee. They embraced it. They used it as fuel-to break their limits, to endure the impossible, to survive

endless tribulations.

And now, as Anark prepared to embark on the most dangerous mission of his life, that same fear stirred within him.

He did not reject it.

He embraced it.

Taking another deep breath, Anark's eyes sharpened, their intensity surpassing even the keenest blade. His body began to dissolve, merging seamlessly with the fabric of reality itself. In an instant, he moved-his speed rivaling that of Noah when he fused with the

Endless River.

It did not take him long to reach the edge of the Nine Empyrean Suns

Universe.

Before him stood the Universe Wall.

For most beings, crossing that barrier meant stepping into the Emptiness-a void so vast and hostile that it devoured all but the most powerful existences. As a Fourth Realm life form, Anark could survive

there.

But that was not his destination.

His eyes narrowed as the Stars of Origin above his forehead began to glow. Their light resonated with the very essence of the universe, allowing him to commune with it on an unprecedented level. The boundary between himself and the universe began to blur.

For a moment, it was as though he and the cosmos were one. Through that connection, Anark searched-and found what he was looking for.

A unique point within the Universe Wall.

Long ago, the Tenth Empyrean World and the Nine Empyrean Suns

Universe had been part of a single, vast whole. The Great War had sundered them, tearing them apart into separate existences. Yet even now, they remained connected-two halves divided, their Universe Walls still touching in hidden places.

After several minutes, Anark's eyes snapped open. Within them, a depth emerged that seemed capable of glimpsing the deepest

principles of existence itself.

Without hesitation, he stepped forward.

His body melted into the Universe Wall.

What awaited him inside was beyond anything most beings could

comprehend.

The interior of the barrier was a realm where cosmic forces had taken

physical form. Endless streams of pure energy flowed like rivers of light, their depth and purity so overwhelming that even Anark, after his transcendence, felt awe stirring within his heart.

Time lost its meaning as he journeyed through that majestic expanse.

At last, after a long passage, he reached the boundary on the other side the barrier that protected the Tenth Empyrean World. Unlike the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, which rejected existences

from its twin universe, the Tenth Empyrean World did not possess the same hostility. As a result, Anark was able to pass through without

resistance.

Even so, the journey was far from easy. The barrier of the Tenth Empyrean World was immense-thicker, denser, and more complex than the one from the Nine Empyrea Suns Universe.

Weeks passed as he traversed the cosmic expanse. Yet Anark did not grow impatient. Instead, he used the time to refine himself. Simply observing those primal forces was a form of training,

sharpening his mind and strengthening his soul in preparation for the battle to come.

Finally, he emerged.

The moment he stepped into the Tenth Empyrean World, Anark concealed every trace of his presence. He suppressed his energy completely, merging with the surrounding universe until he became indistinguishable from it.

He had sacrificed the opportunity to crush the Worlds of the Root to

grant him the chance of a surprise attack.

He could not afford to be discovered.

Only when he was certain that his concealment was perfect did he

allow himself to truly observe his surroundings.

What he saw...

left him in awe.

The Tenth Empyrean World was magnificent-beyond anything he

had imagined.

It shared similarities with other Empyrean Worlds, yet it existed on an entirely different level. Its presence alone carried an overwhelming sense of majesty and power.

Countless worlds orbited around it like celestial bodies drawn to a

divine core. Within those worlds, Anark could sense vast legions of

Depravitas.

Unlike the True Depravitas such as Meylin, these beings radiated chaotic and wicked auras-violent, unstable, and deeply corrupted.

Yet something else caught his attention.

They were restrained. Massive, intricate networks surrounded them, binding them in place like prisoners. The sheer scale and complexity of those containment systems spoke of unimaginable power and control.

Anark's eyes narrowed slightly as he took it all in.

It was clear.

There was much he did not yet understand about this world-about

his enemies.

And if he wished to succeed... if he wished to find and kill their king...

Then he would have to learn.
