Chapter 2484: The strongest body in the three universes
Chapter 2484: The strongest body in the three universes
Cain allowed himself a small smile as he watched Martin die.
Among the Royal Blutlinie, there existed countless strange and insidious abilities. The chances that someone possessed a technique capable of identifying a killer were far from small. Cain could not afford to openly antagonize the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom—not yet. Therefore, when it came to Martin’s death, the culprit would be Almor, a warrior of the Eternal Soul Kingdom.
It was a simple lie, easy to sell.
After all, if Cain had not intervened, that was exactly what would have happened.
He calmly observed the corpse for a few seconds longer, ensuring Martin’s life force had completely faded and that no karmic thread had formed between them. Only when he was certain did he move.
With a flick of his hand, he retrieved the heart from Almor’s grasp. Scarlet flames surged over it as he refined the Ancestor Drop contained within. At the same time, he devoured every remaining trace of vitality and spirit force from Martin’s corpse, stripping it down to its most fundamental essence. That stolen energy flowed through Cain’s body, tempering his flesh and accelerating the forging of the second Hollow Star within his brain.
A faint smile deepened on his lips as he felt his cultivation surge forward.
Yet he did not allow himself to become distracted.
The moment he completed his purpose with Martin, Cain placed his hand over Almor’s head. His eyes glowed as he carved through the shattered remains of the Royal Blutlinie’s mind, extracting every scrap of knowledge and insight that still lingered within. He took everything—memories of techniques, battle experience, strategic knowledge.
Most important of all was the information regarding the Limit Alpha Omega Overgods of the Eternal Soul Kingdom—and Shakra himself. Sooner or later, Cain would have to clash with the King of the Eternal Soul Kingdom. Understanding his enemies in advance was not caution. It was a necessity.
Cain analyzed the flood of information with cold precision. After a moment, he gave a small nod.
Then, without hesitation or mercy, he ripped out Almor’s heart and began refining the Ancestor Drop within it.
Unlike Martin, he had no concern about others discovering that he had killed Almor. In fact, if word spread, it would only serve his larger plan.
As before, Cain devoured every remaining trace of vitality and spirit force from Almor’s body, sending it toward his Hollow Star.
When he had taken everything, nothing remained of the two Royal Blutlinie but drifting ash.
Cain hovered in the air, holding the two purified Ancestor Drops. Without hesitation, he pressed them into his chest.
They sank into his Perfect Ancestor Drop.
"BOOM!"
The instant they fused, Cain’s body trembled violently. A massive surge of energy erupted from within him, his aura growing denser, purer, and vastly more powerful. The pressure intensified until it could no longer be contained.
Scarlet and white flames burst outward, forming a colossal pillar of fire that shot into the heavens.
Cain threw his head back and laughed.
"Hahaha... finally. I have evolved!"
Since his birth, he had devoured and refined the Ancestor Drops of more than a dozen Royal Blutlinie Alpha Omega Overgods, along with thousands upon thousands of Prima Deity and ArchDeity Blutlinie. Each one had pushed him closer to the threshold.
Now, with the addition of these two, he had finally broken through into the Middle Alpha Omega Overgod Realm.
Cain clenched his fists, feeling the explosive strength coursing through his body.
"Even though I have yet to fully awaken the Wings of Chaos, there is no doubt this body is the strongest of the three," he muttered. "It even surpasses my body in the Crimson World."
He continued to laugh as he allowed his power to run wild. There was no trace of fear in his heart. The red mask filtered away doubt and hesitation, leaving only clarity and absolute confidence. He felt as though he could control everything.
The pillar of scarlet and white flames rose higher and higher, crashing against the very ceiling of the realm before spreading across the firmament like a blazing scar.
It was an impossible phenomenon to miss.
Far away, atop a vast volcanic mountain range where rivers of magma flowed freely—hot enough to melt the bodies of ArchDeities—stood a massive stronghold. Its walls were sturdy enough to withstand the strikes of King-Level powerhouses, and its formations could incinerate anything below the Alpha Omega Overgod rank in an instant.
This was the primary stronghold of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom in the Eighth Realm.
Deep within its lowest chamber stood a young man.
Unlike most Royal Blutlinie, his hair was not entirely white. Fiery crimson streaks ran through it, as though flames had fused into his very being. That was not the only thing that set him apart. From his back extended a pair of immense, blazing wings—wings that shimmered with a fire carrying the power of rebirth itself.
He was the son of the Immortal Nirvana King.
The Nirvana Crown Prince.
The one figure capable of keeping the Eternal Soul King at bay.
His eyes slowly opened. They did not resemble human eyes but those of a divine bird—sharp, luminous, and filled with ancient authority. He gazed toward the distant pillar of white and scarlet flames piercing the sky.
"He is not one of mine," he murmured calmly. "But according to our intelligence, there is no one within the Eternal Soul Kingdom who wields such power."
His lips curved slightly.
"A new player?"
Intrigue flickered in his gaze as he began to consider his next move.
He was not the only leader who had noticed the phenomenon.
In the capital of the Eternal Soul Kingdom, Shakra rose from his throne. His presence alone caused the heavens above the city to darken. Unlike the Nirvana Crown Prince, there was no smile on his face.
The Eternal Soul King clenched his fists.
That aura did not belong to any of his forces.
Whether the source belonged to the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom or not was irrelevant. It was an anomaly—an invader.
And in a battlefield already drenched in blood, the arrival of a new Alpha Omega Overgod—one powerful enough to shake the firmament—meant only one thing.
The war had just become even more dangerous.
