The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2432: Cain’s Ancestor Power

Chapter 2432: Cain’s Ancestor Power

A white flame ignited within the pupil of Cain’s Ancestor Eye.

In the same instant, that flame burst outward from his body, surging skyward and forming a colossal pillar of white fire that pierced the highest sky. It rose endlessly, as if seeking to burn through the very limits of the Dark Blood Realm.

The power contained within it was so vast that both kings instinctively leapt backward, as they feared being caught within its reach and being incinerated.

Yet the white flames did not burn.

They devoured nothing.

Their effect was far more terrifying.

The flames resonated with time—yet they did not obey it. They moved according to principles that stood above time itself, distorting causality, freezing motion, and severing the natural order. Even the will of the Dark Blood Realm trembled as the power was unleashed, as if the world itself recognized the awakening of a truly apocalyptic force.

This was not merely strength.

This was authority.

Slowly, the towering pillar receded. The white flames withdrew, flowing back into Cain’s body and settling within his flesh, bones, blood, and soul. When it was over, Cain stood calmly in the sky, his figure radiating a quiet, suffocating dominance.

A wide smile of pure exhilaration spread across his face.

"So this is the power one gains after forging a Flawless Ancestor Drop," Cain murmured, his voice carrying unmistakable excitement. "Not even my Zero-State Force—the combined authority of Entropy and Nihility—can compare to this."

His fists clenched, not in rage, but in thrill.

Then he vanished.

Cain reappeared directly before the two kings in less than a blink.

Instantly, Lortar felt a surge of dread and horror explode in his heart. His instincts screamed at him with unprecedented intensity.

That white flame was death.

No.

It was worse than death.

The dark eye embedded in Eonar’s forehead also detected the threat, but the entity within the Blade of the End of Times knew only destruction. It forced Eonar’s body to attack regardless, hurling itself toward Cain with murderous intent.

Cain dodged effortlessly.

In the same motion, he appeared directly before Lortar.

"His speed... it rose again!" Lortar’s mind screamed in panic.

But that was not the truth.

Cain’s speed had not increased.

The moment the white flames manifested, the stasis force field surrounding Cain had grown exponentially stronger—so overwhelming that even the temporal mantle forged by the Blade of the End of Times could barely endure its pressure.

The threat of annihilation shattered Lortar’s battle spirit.

Fear twisted into desperation as killing intent erupted from him. With a roar, he swung his halberd at Cain with all the power he could muster, flames tearing through the air.

He did not seek victory.

He only wanted Cain to retreat.

To create distance.

To run.

Unfortunately for the Kalous King, Cain did not dodge.

He raised his arm and used it to block the halberd’s blade.

The shock nearly stopped Lortar’s heart.

The weapon failed to cut Cain’s flesh.

"It enhanced his endurance as well!?" That realization flashed through Lortar’s mind—

And it was his last coherent thought.

Cain’s fist drove forward, slamming into Lortar’s chest.

White flames erupted from the impact point, bursting out through the Kalous King’s back like spectral fire. The force sent Lortar flying—but not like a comet.

He moved impossibly slowly.

As if the world itself had fallen into molasses.

"What... is happening!?" Panic overtook his mind.

His thoughts moved normally. His awareness remained intact.

But his body moved in slow motion.

Pain that should have lasted a fraction of a second stretched into endless torment, each heartbeat dragging on like minutes.

And then—

A ferocious kick smashed into his head.

White flames detonated once more.

This time, Lortar did not move at all.

His body froze in midair.

His eyes remained open. His consciousness endured. Agony flooded his senses—but his flesh, blood, energy, and even his soul force were completely immobilized.

Frozen.

Paralyzed.

"What... is this horrible power...?" His silent scream echoed into nothingness.

Cain turned away from him.

In the same instant, his left hand shot sideways, intercepting the Blade of the End of Times just before it reached his neck.

The dark eye in Eonar’s forehead trembled violently as it stared at Cain’s bare palm gripping the sword—uninjured, unmarked.

Cain’s gaze shifted to the dark eye.

For the first time since its creation, the soul bound within the Blade of the End of Times felt something utterly alien.

Fear.

It attempted to retreat, to pull away from Cain’s grasp—but his grip tightened like a vice.

Then Cain’s fingers blurred.

They struck Eonar thirty times in a fraction of a second, tapping precise points across his body.

At first, the strikes seemed harmless.

Then—

Every one of those points activated simultaneously.

The intersections between life force and soul force reversed their natural circulation, crashing into each other violently. Internal explosions tore through Eonar’s body, threatening to reduce it to nothing.

Yet before the destruction could fully manifest, white flames spread outward from those points.

Everything froze.

Every particle of Eonar’s existence—body, blood, energy, soul—was locked in absolute suspension.

The effect extended further.

The soul within the Blade of the End of Times was frozen as well, rendered completely incapable of resistance.

The battlefield fell silent.

The Royal Guards had not looked away for a single moment. Awe and reverence filled their hearts as they stared at the sky.

The Scarlet King stood alone, calm and radiant, while the rulers of two of the five great kingdoms of the Dark Blood Realm hung suspended beside him like lifeless statues.

The battle had once been brutal. Even wounded, the kings had fought fiercely—especially after the Blade of the End of Times seized control of Eonar.

But the moment Cain released his Ancestor Power...

Everything ended.

Cain took a deep breath. The white flame in his Ancestor Eye faded, vanishing completely.

Then he seized both kings and descended into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

As soon as he submerged, his body relaxed.

And in the next second, a deep cut opened along his arm.

Another appeared across his palm.
