At the bottom, Feng Qing listened to the Dog Emperor’s words, her face coldly looking at him, while Rong Che paid no attention to her expression and continued to speak sincerely.

"But by the time I realized it, the flower palanquin had already entered the palace, and the ceremony had been completed. Even though I sensed something was wrong, the matter was already a fact. There was no way to carry the flower palanquin back out and replace it."

In the grand hall, everyone instinctively glanced at the Regent Queen, Feng Qing.

The grand hall instantly became silent, followed by murmurs of discussion, as everyone withdrew their gazes from Feng Qing and looked towards Madam Jing’an, Lin.

Wasn’t it said that it was the eldest daughter of Marquis Jing’an Mansion who swapped the palanquin? How did it become Madam Jing’an who did it?

"What is going on? Wasn’t it said Feng Qing swapped the palanquin?"

"Yes, how did it become Lin?"

"What’s the matter," many grumbled in frustration.

Compared to Lin swapping the palanquin, they would rather it be Feng Qing who did it. This way, she would be punished, and the position of Regent Queen would be vacant, giving them a chance.

Many felt irritated inside.

What does this have to do with her? It’s what the Emperor and Marquis wanted, but in the end, they ask her to take the blame.

Yet she couldn’t refuse; her daughter said that if she took the blame, they would still make her the Madam of the Marquis Mansion.

Her father and family members would be grateful for her sacrifice, but if the Feng Family admitted the crime, they would all be doomed.

Lin, though unwilling, ultimately accepted the charge.
