The dragon's harem

Chapter 1892: That Time I got a Nymph Incarnation

Chapter 1892: That Time I got a Nymph Incarnation

When Arad returned home, he had too many things to think about and explain, mainly, his new Nymph incarnation. His Nymph body was as tall as his humanoid body, standing at over three meters tall, and he looked extremely similar to his mother and Yuwaku.

That had caused him to rethink how he used all his incarnations and try to balance his power and mind between them.

Arad mainly had two incarnations, one linked to his draconic soul and the other to his human soul. He then used Gemini to double them up and get four. Two humans, two dragons, and since the dragons could take a humanoid form, as all dragons could, he could simply summon four humanoid copies of himself.

But now, he had a third body, which was that of a Nymph, and with Gemini, doubling it is possible, and that resulted in him having a total of six incarnations now. That was a 50% Increase in his total manpower, and it meant that he could be in two more places, which is indeed helpful…

But… The Nymph bodies looked to be locked into the figure of a woman, and even Virgo wasn’t able to change them, probably, since all Nymphs are females. Why is that? Arad couldn’t understand why, but based on what Aether told him, it should be his fault, since he is the reincarnation of that ancient god that is supposed to have created the universe, Nymphs included.

Looking down at his body, he could quickly understand why Aether was put off by it. It was an inexplicably beautiful body. Tall, fair, with long silky black hair, amethyst purple eyes, and a figure so outrageous that it even made Arad growl.

^Is this how Father felt when Merlin’s potion turned him into a woman?^ His chest was massive, but only because the muscles beneath were just as powerful as they had before. His thighs, hips, and arms were all perfectly sized and placed as if sculpted from porcelain. Eris’s tight dress didn’t help hide any of his features, which somewhat made him more uncomfortable than when surrounded by a thousand hungry abominations.

He would’ve complained, but at this moment, he had already understood a key feature of this body that made him excited to test it. Even if he was presented with the option of ten more regular draconic incarnations, he would’ve still chosen to have this Nymph body because of that feature.

Everyone, meaning Amaterasu, Aether, Mathilde, and those who knew of this body, thinks that it was made from his magic and beauty, but that was wrong. It was made from his magic, yes. But the beauty, it wasn’t the beauty of his body.

This Nymph’s body was made from the beauty of the vacuum of space, of the darkness and nothingness that permeate the entire universe; he was the spitting image of the dark matter that holds the entire of existence together, the blood of the universe, and its soul.

He has the potential to rival Amaterasu in power, of course, if he could spend the necessary time to understand, learn, and train on how to use his power. He was now like a regular, mundane mortal human being told that they have the potential to rip the world apart with a single spell, but they are still a level 1 and must learn and master the way of magic for the rest of their lives if they want to achieve such a feat.

AO specially made this body since he needed the dark matter to make the universe spin again, and to be powerful enough to decimate the abominations. The only difference between the current AO and Arad was their experience and understanding of their own power, literally like a child and a grown man, and just that gap in knowledge separated them by an insurmountable wall of power.

^This body, it should be as strong as Amaterasu if not stronger, but I’ve got no idea or clue on how to use it or if I even have enough mana to be able to do that. Like, what is this dark matter holding the universe together? I never heard of it before.^

His own power was far beyond his understanding or comprehension, so he had no choice but to take things slowly and digest the new power he got.

As he stood alone in the hallway, the lights suddenly went out, and he could sense a titanic presence rushing toward him at blinding speed. The shadows danced, and he lifted one hand, catching a sharp claw with just three fingers.

“Linda? This is me, Arad.” Arad looked at her with two glowing eyes, and she smiled. “You don’t smell the same.”

Arad clenched a fist and engulfed it with his void. “I guess, this body is that of a Nymph after all.” And then with a single punch to the guts, he sent her flying through the hallway with a thunderclap.

“You can recognize this draconic magic. It’s me.” As Arad opened his fist and relaxed, a draconic incarnation appeared by his side. “This Nymph’s body is my new incarnation. I got two of them, so I can now be in six different places at once.”

Linda stood instantly and glared at him with a stern face. “Merlin? Is he the same?”

Merlin’s voice replied instantly, “No doubt about it. That is Arad. This space is already inside her stomach. I don’t know how he became a woman, but we aren’t going to get an explanation with you trying to fight him. Stand back.”

Linda sighed, “Just… what did happen? Weren’t you supposed to be working on something with Eris?” She approached and sniffed him. “True, this body doesn’t have a single whiff of draconic blood. Even though you’re a dragon.”

“Since it isn’t my humanoid body that has draconic blood, and it isn’t my true draconic body.” Arad replied and then pushed her back. “Now, get your face off my chest.”

She took a few steps back, then gave Arad’s entire body a look. “The beauty is turned off, right?”

“Yes, I can do that much, but it isn’t easy. I need to get used to this first. And no, I won’t unleash it here; that would kill everybody.” Arad might’ve tried to let the beauty loose if it were just his own, but since it’s the beauty of the entire universe’s dark matter that holds existence together, he cannot fathom what kind of damage it will cause.

The draconic incarnation that Arad summoned to prove himself quickly teleported away to return to where it was before, and he only left a Nymph incarnation there with Linda.

“I know that you want an explanation, all of you probably want that. But even I don’t understand what happened that well, so we’ll have to discuss it. But before all of that, you don’t have to worry. This Nymph’s body is an extra addition and not a replacement for my former self.”

A few minutes later, he was with Merlin and Linda in a large white room, all of them sitting around a large white table. “So, that is what I know, but I was out at that moment, so I don’t know much either.” Arad took a sip and looked at them. “What do you think?” Of course, he left everything about being an ancient god out, as he didn’t fully believe it himself, even if the events just proved it.

“I don’t know much about Nymphs or how they are born, but I’m certain it isn’t supposed to just become your body. It should’ve been an independent being, which means there is a part that we’re missing.” She looked at him, having a feeling that there was a part he wasn’t telling them.

But why isn’t he telling her? Merlin had to figure out why he wasn’t trusting her as he did before, and quickly got an idea.

Merlin stood, “I’m going to do more research about Nymphs to figure this out. Linda, entertain him for the night. I know you have something for women. I won’t be listening.” Leaving the flustered Linda with Arad, Merlin disappeared without saying another word and even cut her surveillance of the room.

“What is she on about?” Linda growled, and Arad spoke. “She is smart.” He leaned forward, “So, Aether overheard a certain horny goddess and some archons talking about me being the reincarnation of an ancient god, the one who created the entire universe.”

“What?” Linda froze in place. “So, I believe that she expected Aether to keep the secret, yet he told me. That is why we can’t have this information leak. One to keep him safe, and two… to avoid trouble. I should ask one blue goddess about it, but it seems that he is me, but older. He is the one who created this body, and it seems that he needed it to repair the universe a bit.”

Yog is most likely listening to their conversation through Merlin, and so Arad couldn’t talk in front of her. He also couldn’t mention the divines’ names carelessly unless he wanted to draw their attention. That is why he’ll only tell Linda now, since Aether is her son and she deserves to know, but the rest of his wives would have to trust her judgment.

After hearing Arad’s explanation, Linda left him and went to scold Merlin for locking her up with him. Merlin did laugh and ask her if she had fun, and Linda replied that it felt better than she expected. That response, Merlin interpreted it as Arad got a decent explanation, but I’m not 100% sure.

Things had just gotten too complicated.
