Chapter 1767: To The Operation Table
Chapter 1767: To The Operation Table
They were stuck at first, but now, all of the paths had opened up. In the bath, Sena, Aisha, and Doma were the first ones to get a chance to look at the new path their project was going to take.
Sena was a master at controlling lifeforce, so creating a body would be her job. Doma, on the other hand, can use her curses to try to stitch the soul to the newly created vessel. Aisha, as a doll, would focus more on the link between the soul and body, and try to make it as stable as possible.
One of the maids, a new one who joined just two months ago, looked at them with a pale face. The entrance exam that Isdis held was disgustingly painful, but she had managed to push through and was waiting to see just what kind of Queens the emperor had that they needed such levels of security.
A terrifyingly beautiful doll-woman, Aisha, the rotten alchemist who almost wiped Ruris’ kingdom centuries ago, and was confined by the royal family. The maid could believe that such a dangerous monster was one of the wives, even though she was made of wood and didn’t have any usable parts.
But Aisha was tame compared to the other two. One was Doma, the Queen of Curses. A witch so powerful that her name scared all beings, and the one who mastered curses better than the devils themselves. Comparing her and Aisha is like comparing a plague with a common cold; they are nowhere near the same level.
Then there was Sena, the queen this maid now works for. Whenever a new maid applies and passes the initial testing, she’ll be given a list of queens and asked to pick one to serve. Of course, Arad wasn’t on that list as he doesn’t have any maids or servants. This maid here picked Sena because she knew her as a common girl from Alina, she thought serving her would be the tamest experience compared to the other queens.
But she was wrong, Sena was the scariest of them all to serve. The maid knew that out of everyone here, Sena, who looked the most normal, was in fact, the most abnormal horror.
As the maid stared at them, Selica stood beside her. “What are you worried about?”
Hearing Selica behind her, the maid jumped. “No, nothing. I was just thinking, what will they do with her?” She looked at Fernanda.
“Don’t worry, she’ll suffer a bit for trying to kill everyone here. Those three aren’t bothered by torturing people; in fact, they might enjoy making others suffer a bit more than needed.” Selica tapped the maid on the shoulder and leaned on her, “But… isn’t Sena as beautiful as always?”
The maid started sweating. She had seen Sena’s tentacles, her black tar, and the endless harrowing magic she had. She was a creature of nightmares beneath that beautiful human shape, but she couldn’t say that in front of Selica, who worships her from day to night.
“She is indeed beautiful. Do you want to pick up some new clothes for her? I’m sure Queen Merida and Queen Isabelle had made some new dresses that would fit her well.” Last time Selica asked someone if Sena looked beautiful, she ended up going on a long babble describing Sena, so the maid had to change the subject, no matter what.
Selica’s eyes flashed, “Yeah! Let’s go!” She clapped her hands, grabbed the maid by the wrist, and ran with her toward the part of the bath where Merida and Isabelle were.
Sena looked back, saw the two running away, and smiled. It was good that Selica was getting along with someone else besides her. Accepting maids as servants instead of creating her own servants was the best choice.
Now, she had to focus on her work.
What she lacked before was information. If Sena had someone’s body, she could create a new body for them in minutes. Explaining everything in detail to everyone would take a long time, but she at least gave them a basic overview of what she does.
Sena grabs the DNA of someone, then grows a new body for them using her own cells, who could evolve to anything she wants as long as she has a blueprint, which is the DNA. The problem was that the DNA is different from one person to another, and what made it worse is that the slightest mistake would cause the body to reject the soul, resulting in zombification.
In short, the true nature of Sena is that she is a planet-sized stem-cell monster with immortality and cell-level precise control over her entire being. The only thing between her and matching the mother of all life in power was knowledge and data relating to all things alive.
When Sena was first born, she was nothing but a regular-looking human girl, crawling around as a baby and playing without a care in the world. If anything was strange, it was that all living beings except her family avoided her like the plague.
Flies never dared approach her skin, birds would change their flight paths to not fly over her, and even ants would swarm away and run, abandoning their nests when she got closer. But one day, she managed to capture one. As a mere one-year-old crawling on the floor, she managed to catch and eat one ant.
That was the first genetic code Sena got, and after that, she would go to collect the DNA of all living beings she came close to, from humans, to dragons, and even some gods. This had eventually resulted in her consuming an entire world and turning into her massive planet form.
In reality, while Sena has the ability to turn into any living being in the world, she doesn’t have the unique strand of every singular person. If she wanted to turn into a void drakaina, for example, she could only turn into a being similar to one of the void drakainas she took DNA from thousands of years ago.
But now, thanks to Doma and this strange witch called Fernanda who ate a whole world, Sena was going to get the genetic code of over a billion unique humanoids. From elves to dwarves, all of that data at once.
There was one problem, though. She had never heard of a Shirikodama before. From what she understood so far, the Shirikodama isn’t a type of creature, but is a ball of condensed souls. And that it has a relation to witchcraft and sounded like something from Amaterasu’s land.
“Why is it in her butt?” Sena asked with a worried face as Doma dragged Fernanda aside. Doma looked at her with a smile. “Well, she ate people, and their bodies got digested and at the end, the souls were left in her rectum. Those souls should be well preserved so we’ll get to know exactly what kind of bodies they had.”
Doma cracked her wrist and looked at Fernanda with a smile. “How good are you with pain? You’re a witch, so you should’ve at least lost a limb once or twice.” The witch nails were a common enchantment that all witches used, and putting on that nail polish was extremely painful. So all witches should be relatively used to pain.
Fernanda looked at her with a scared face. “Well, I’m quite good with pain, but I don’t know about this. How much would you need to….”
Doma tapped her on the shoulder, “I couldn’t reach it with my fingers, so I’ll have to go at least wrist deep with one hand. If I still can’t reach it, then I’ll need to go elbow deep, with both arms. Only if that failed would I need to bring scissors and cut you open.”
Fernanda paled. “A hand won’t fit in!” As she cried, Doma laughed. “I know it won’t fit, but I’ll put my whole back into it.” She then turned around and called some of the maids to prepare a massage table for them to work in.
Fernanda wasn’t going to like it, but if Sena gets all the information she needs, then Doma and Shi would finally have their own bodies. By the time the maids all arrived, Sena already gotten a table ready and several stacks of paper, and she had turned her arms into over fifty black tentacles to write with her own black tar.
