Chapter 1763: A Cat In the Water
Chapter 1763: A Cat In the Water
Sitting in the hot water, Arad shifted his gaze around him and finally stopped at one of his wives. One that he hadn’t seen for a while, “Congratulations. How are you feeling now?”
His gaze had fallen on none other than Altair. She had finally evolved into a Young Adult drakaina, unlocking a whole new path of power for herself. His mother had been training and teaching her all kinds of things, and they all seem to have paid off.
Altair stared at him with a blushing face for a moment, but then quickly calmed down. Her face fell, and she remained silent. It took her a whole minute to open her mouth and speak. “Sorry… I’m useless.”
Arad could already hear her thoughts, meaning she wasn’t in a stable state of mind to focus on herself. “No, you aren’t.” He replied with a straight face, and she giggled.
“You can already read my mind, so how could you say that?” She growled back at him, and he sighed. “It doesn’t matter if you’re disabled or not. What matters is you, and you alone.”
When Altair finally became a Young Adult drakaina, she discovered a horrifying truth. Her stomach didn’t work the way it was intended, and she couldn’t hold living matter inside without involuntarily digesting it.
From what Arad’s mother told her, this was a rare disability that void dragons can develop. It takes the form of not being able to fully control the stomach due to a lack of nerves, magic, or a damaged soul. The condition is inborn, so it cannot be cured, but the dragon could surpass it if they surpass twilight.
Altair cannot hold a living world inside her stomach, and cannot even teleport people around through her own stomach. If one stepped into her stomach, they would be digested immediately as if dropped into a pool of godly acid.
“What did mother say?” He asked, and Altair looked down. “Said I shouldn’t worry about it too much. She said I’ll get rid of it when I surpass twilight, but I know that isn’t true.” She hugged her knees. “I’m not doubting her words, I’m certain this can be cured through twilight. But, I’m not the kind to surpass twilight. It is to die and return by your own will, and I don’t have that.”
Arad waved his hand, “Come here.” As he called, she stood and slowly approached, then took a seat by his side. “What?”
Arad reached and grabbed her by the shoulders, lifting and sitting her on his lap. “You don’t need to store anything alive inside your stomach. The fact that we void dragons could do such a thing in the first place is weird.” He combed his fingers through her long, dark hair. “You store and use matter as you wish, so it shouldn’t be a problem.”
Altair looked around. Everyone was staring at her as she sat on Arad’s lap, which caused her to blush and look down at the misty surface of the hot water. She could feel Arad’s massive flesh behind her back, and she didn’t want to get it here in front of everyone.
“How? I was waiting to be able to hold a whole world. If I did, then I would’ve matched this vast world you’ve created.” She sighed. “I was already planning on where to set base, how to allow everyone into that world, and how I could create a second safe house for everyone here. But all of that now means nothing.”
Arad wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tighter hug. “You don’t need to store living beings to fight, and who said you could do that?” He smiled and pointed at Merlin with a finger. “She can teach you barrier magic. We void dragons are good at magic, so it should take you no time to master it. You might not be able to keep an entire world, but you’ll be able to at least get a few people in and out safely.”
As he opened his arms, she looked back at him with a surprised face. The same way he could read her mind, she could read his; she was a void drakaina after all. She knew he really wanted to put it in; if given the chance, he would’ve gone at her for hours right here and now. But, since he could sense she was shy and didn’t want everyone to see her doing it, he held back and let her go.
She really wanted to give him a kiss, but knowing that it would only make things more difficult for him, she didn’t do it. As she returned to her seat, Arad couldn’t take his eyes from her rear end, and after she sat, he had to find somewhere else to look.
It didn’t take him to find the other void drakaina, or half drakaina to be exact. Matilda, who was running around the crater chasing some fairies, slipped, slid all the way to the edge, and splashed the water sky high.
Arad looked at the black tigress for a few seconds in silence. Then sighed. Selina approached her and pulled her out of the water, growling at her. “Can you stop playing around?” She dragged her aside and whispered. “Arad is watching. At least try to look normal.”
“I know… I found it hard to speak up, so I had to find a way to draw his attention.” Matilda whispered with a proud face, and Selina paled. “You! He can read minds.” It was easy to block Arad’s mind reading, and Merlin had taught everyone how to do it, but it won’t help when they are actively thinking about him.
“Selina!” Arad called from the back, and the two froze. “I didn’t expect you to come here like this.”
Hearing his voice, she slowly turned around and looked at him with a worried smile. “You can tell the difference?”
Selina was a master puppeteer, and she had two bodies: her real one and a flesh golem that looked exactly like her. She almost never leaves her room and always uses the flesh golem to go around, but strangely, today she brought her real body out and left the golem.
Arad smiled. “Of course, especially if you’re naked. You can’t sculpt the details you yourself can’t see well.” She almost noticed and grabbed her butt. “Where are you looking?!”
“Your upper back. When you bend over, your spine shows less than that of the golem.” It took Selina a second to piece things out, but when she did, her face burned red, and she crawled behind Matilda to hide.
“What’s up with you?” Matilda stared at her with a confused face, and Sena spoke beside her. “He called her fat. Her golem always moves around, so it’s lean. She, on the other hand, spends the entire day sitting in her room, so she has more fat under her skin.”
When Matilda looked at Selina, she couldn’t tell where that fat was. In fact, she couldn’t tell the difference between the two at all. So, her gaze shifted back to Arad, “Are you calling her fat?”
“No, I’m just saying the golem is leaner and has thinner skin.” Matilda wasn’t smart enough to think around his words, so she took them at face value and smiled. “Heard that? He is nice.” She then jumped, leaving the blushing Selina alone.
Matilda was a tigress, and so swimming was something she was good at. In seconds, she dashed through the hot water and emerged right between Arad’s legs. Using her hands, she climbed up Arad’s hips, chest, and reached his face, looking at him right in the eyes.
It was clear what she had been doing in the past months. Her body reeked with void magic, and all of her muscles had grown considerably stronger and more visible. Arad could even see the strands of her muscles rolling beneath her supple skin.
She blinked, then looked around. “Teacher! We can do it here, right?”
“Don’t call me!” Lucia, who was with Eris, growled at her, then hid her face. She was their teacher, so how did she end up here? That is right, she had almost died, and Arad turned her into a vampire, which resulted in her being here under Eris.
In fact! Lucia glared back, where Lala, the holy nun, the gentle and pure teacher of the holy class, who was a nun of Amaterasu, was naked, spreading her legs, and teaching the maids how do it in case Arad picked up any of them. “You, Sorry excuse of a teacher! Stop it!” She growled at her, and Lala smiled. “Come on, I’m teaching them things.”
Matilda looked at them, and licked her lips. “Guess not.” And smacked her hips down, forcing Arad’s whole flesh inside of her.
