The dragon's harem

Chapter 1588: Too Many of Them

Chapter 1588: Too Many of Them

After almost an hour, Arad was tired to the bones. One of his incarnations accompanied Linda in her draconic form, while another incarnation accompanied the others. He had never felt this tired and drained before, not even Nina had pushed him to this extent.

But at least, the hard part was over now. Arad dismissed one of the two incarnations and rested with the other one, dropping onto the soft bed inside his room.

But he wasn’t alone. Linda was there as well, naked in her humanoid form, resting at his side with a satisfied look on her face. She looked at him, then shifted her eyes to Gamond, who was there as well, “You look tired.”

Gamond glared at her, “Of course, he almost broke my back.” She turned and looked at Kory, “And look at my poor daughter here, she can barely sit.”

Almost everyone was there. Gamond, Linda, Kory, Balina, Zul, Denki, Ryan, Malina, and Claug. But Eris wasn’t there because she was busy. Betty also didn’t join because she didn’t have a draconic form. Altair was busy with Arad’s mother, so she didn’t even hear about it.

“It’s because you kept telling him to go harder.” Kory growled at her mother, almost kicking her in the face.

“Well, tough luck. That’s what dragons are for.” Gamond caught Kory’s kick and pushed her away.

“Really?” Linda leaned back, “It was fine for me.”

Balina growled in the back, “Yeah, you’re an elder like her. I bet you’re not even dragons anymore.” She looked back at Ryan, who was plunged face-first into the mattress with her butt perked up. She couldn’t even put it down.

“Look at her!”

All of them had a rough time, except Linda, who was stronger, and Zul, because Arad went easy on her.

“I liked it though.” Claug said with a large smile on her face as she leaned on Malina, “So what did you think? Steel sister.”

Malina pushed Claug away, but Claug slipped past and wrapped her arm around her neck, pulling her down.

“I’m not your sister!” She formed her fingers into sharp blades and tried to stab the green drakaina, only to fail. Her scales were too hard.

“We’re all his mates now. We Chromatic call it sisters-in-nest.” Claug pushed Malina aside and crawled toward Arad.

“That you, Chromatic, not us.” Malina glared at her with burning eyes, then sighed, sitting up with a tired face. “How come I’m the only Metallic one here?”

Denki, who could barely sit and had to lean on her side, tapped Malina on the shoulder, “Relax, she is just fooling around.”

Malina stared at Denki for a long moment, then calmed down, “You’re right.”

“She is a Chromatic like me!” Claug waved her hand, and Malina hugged Denki, “Don’t poison her mind.” Malina growled at Claug and then turned back to Denki, “Don’t listen to her, she is just a jerk that enjoys creating drama a bit too much.”

Denki kinda of understood what Malina was talking about. Claug is usually nice and gentle, but she had watched a lot of noble lives to the point she started wanting to live one of them. Just yesterday, she was talking about how the dwarf third queen poisoned the first queen to make her look pregnant and almost got her executed.

Kory in the back sighed, stretching her arms as her hair burned red and her eyes flashed with fire. “I’m not done yet.” She climbed above Arad, picked his flesh, and shoved it in. Even though she was exhausted to the bones, out of everyone here, she was the most active, thanks to her red blood.

Arad, being himself, didn’t even bother resisting and let her do whatever she wanted.

“I’m next!” Gamond waved her hand, and Claug was right behind her, followed by Balina.

Linda stared at them with a weird face, “You’ll do it as humans?” But she quickly gave up, sighed, and lay beside Arad, watching Kory moving up and down.

“You won’t do it?” Gamond poked Linda from the side, “You’re the least exhausted one here.”

Linda glared at her, “I’m not a fan of this.”

But Balina quickly glared at her, “What if Arad asked you to do it?”

Linda shrugged, “If he asks, I’ll do anything.”

But even with that, the others refused to believe her, especially Gamond, who stared at her with a grin. “Are you sure? You look to be quite picky, and I don’t appreciate that.”

Linda leaned on Arad, looked at Gamond with a grin, then extended her foot to her face. “Kiss it, did you forget who makes the rules around here?”

Linda was right, at first, Eris and Gamond were at the top of the food chain, but now that Linda joined in, she had taken the highest spot among the drakains as their dominant one. She is the strongest among Arad’s draconic wives at the moment, and so every other drakaina must obey her orders. Updates are released by novel fire.net

Arad patted Linda with his arm, “Drop it, you don’t need to mess around too much.”

Linda shrugged, “Fine, I was just joking.”

Gamond laughed, threw her hand forward, and pulled Linda’s foot up, kissing it. “Playing by the rules is my thing.”

The older a drakaina was, the higher the probability for her to be hardheaded and follow the dragons’ tradition to the end. Linda was the oldest here, followed by Gamond and then Balina.

While everyone else didn’t care about the hierarchy among the drakainas, those three would fight for it. For those three, it was best for Arad to treat them as drakainas and not humans, because that was what they wanted. The others, on the other hand, were far more flexible.

Gamond had even made sure Kory grew among humanoids and learned to live by their values and rules, because ultimately that was a more civil version of life. But that wasn’t out of morality or the goodness of her heart; on the other hand, she was trying to give Kory a better chance at life than she had.

Gamond had lived as a dragon, a cold, hardened survivalist and violent monster that killed her entire world by living life as a powerful and proud drakaina. But the one who pulled her from that cold life was Isbert, the Ice Empress, and that woman was human, and she lived as a human her whole life.

Gamond gave Kory one look, then turned her gaze back to Linda, “We old hags should follow traditions, don’t we?”

Linda smiled, “True, time is a cruel thing.”

Soon, Kory finished and fell on Arad’s chest, panting and exhausted to the bone. She could barely breathe, and her hips had finally given up on moving.

Gamond picked her up and laid her aside. “She is done.” She then turned to Arad, “I’ll keep an eye on her in case her fire gets out of control.” Kory was still dealing with her two halves. Earlier, it was her red draconic blood that gave her the energy to keep going, but now, she had lost all of her power. Gamond had to tend to her.

In the meantime, Balina took a ride on Arad for a while. Unlike most, she was extremely vocal, as if trying to get back at Linda. She kept moaning and yelling how doing it as a human was far better than in dragon form, which did seem to get a bit under Linda’s scales.

Balina lasted a fair bit longer than Kory did, all thanks to her slippery soap.

Having already been taunted by the two before her, Linda too joined in after Balina. But unlike what Gamond expected, Linda was in fact enjoying herself quite well; she just didn’t find the idea of doing it as a human more appealing than in her draconic form.

But among everyone, Arad was the one suffering the most. He was already in pain, drained, exhausted, and battered. What little remained of this night was going to take a long, long time.

In the middle of the night, some maids heard the noise in Arad’s room, so they rushed in. As they expected, the drakainas weren’t going to give Arad any time to rest. He expected them to help him, maybe find an excuse to drag the drakainas away. But they didn’t.

The maids just took their place beside the wall and stood there, watching and waiting for any of the drakainas to need help.

When morning came, the maids finally pulled the drakainas away from Arad and started cleaning. And only then did one of them notice that Linda was already halfway through her pregnancy.

“Oh, is that…” One of the maids gasped, and Linda stared at her.

“I would say… by dusk. But don’t worry, you don’t need to prepare for anything.” She looked at Arad, “Depending on what it is, I’ll find a decent place to give birth on my own.”

The child can come out as a time dragon, a void dragon, a human, or anything in between.
