The Dragon Lord's Aide Wants to Quit [BL]

Chapter 486: A Future With You (M)

It was the same expansive room, the same luxurious bed, and the same two people who were madly in love with each other.

And yet somehow, the experience felt surprisingly different.

"Hnghhh...!"

There was no need to tell Kael to go deeper or explain whether he wanted him faster, slower, or harder.

With their bond completely open, it was as though the golden dragon already knew exactly what Riley wanted before he could even ask for it.

Every time Kael thrust into him, Riley swore he didn’t mean to cling so desperately, but the desperation to feel full was so intense that his fingers kept digging into Kael’s back as though he could prevent him from ever leaving.

Like this, he felt he wouldn’t be able to live if Kael were to take his cock out of him.

It was the most irrational thing, and yet he didn’t even know how to explain that it wasn’t simply about that primal physical connection.

Not that they didn’t have that. They definitely did.

Kael’s neck and shoulders were already covered in bite marks, Riley’s teeth leaving little signs of ownership as though there were still somehow beings on Eryndra who didn’t know that this man was entirely his.

But see, what the immortal with a rather human mindset found considerably stranger was everything happening beneath that primal need.

Every time he came, and even more so whenever Kael emptied inside him like he wanted, it was as if the black dragon was hearing gleeful giggles where there should’ve been absolute silence and clarity.

It made absolutely no sense.

Yet whenever that strange sensation appeared, Riley’s heart felt so unbearably full that his legs would instinctively tighten around Kael, wanting nothing more than to keep him exactly where he was.

Their lips found each other once again and their tongues met as the sound of squelching slowed down, the golden dragon giving him long and deep thrusts instead.

Consequently, that felt like torture.

Absolute torture.

Kael pulled back so much slower, and Riley’s legs kept shaking while his hips kept anticipating when he’d thrust right back.

It was downright maddening that he couldn’t help himself.

"Hey, are you angry or something? W-why are you suddenly like this?" Riley complained, pulling back just enough to glare at Kael with all the indignation of a man who’d grown so spoiled from getting what he wanted without even having to ask that he could no longer fathom being treated like this.

"Angry?" Kael looked genuinely confused. "Aren’t I enduring this because you like it like this?"

Like it like this?

Had this guy gone nuts? How could he possibly think Riley would enjoy being torturously kept right on the edge like—

"AHHHH!"

Riley’s head snapped back as Kael suddenly moved, the overwhelming sensation wiping every coherent thought straight from his mind.

For one blissful second, he thought he was finally going to get what he wanted. He was practically leaking but couldn’t fully find release as the golden dragon held his pulsing shaft in his hand.

"...!"

Riley stared at him in utter disbelief.

The golden dragon wasn’t exactly faring much better. His jaw was clenched so tightly that Riley could see the strain on his face as Kael forced himself to maintain what little control he had left.

"If you finish now, then I will too," Kael explained through gritted teeth. "Then how am I supposed to give it to you exactly how you want it?"

"...What?"

Riley could only stare at him, flushed and dazed as he tried to catch his breath.

Then Kael’s hand left his desperate and throbbing shaft to press on Riley’s stomach, shocking the black dragon.

"Nnnngh! Wait..."

"Here." The dragon lord’s expression became intensely focused. "I need to reach here so you’ll be able to hold it better."

"!"

Riley froze.

"You mean..."

"Yeah." Kael’s golden eyes lifted to meet his. "I’ll give you as much mana as you want. So you need to open up for me."

For several seconds, Riley could only stare.

Of all the things he’d expected Kael to say tonight, that certainly hadn’t been one of them.

This was Kael Dravaryn.

The same dragon who would’ve probably been perfectly content never sharing his mate with another living being for the rest of eternity.

Yet through their open bond, Riley knew he wasn’t simply saying this because he thought it was what Riley wanted to hear.

Wow.

"Are you sure?"

Kael angled his face toward him, wearing an expression that practically said, you’re asking even if you know?

But the golden dragon answered anyway.

Probably because Riley needed to hear it straight from his lips.

"Yes."

Then, after a moment, Kael admitted, "I’m not sure it’s a good idea, because who can ever tell?"

That was simply the truth.

For all his long years of living, Kael had learned that even the things he thought he’d thoroughly prepared for could become meaningless in the face of whatever life decided to throw at him.

Yet somehow, he’d still made it this far with one philosophy he was willing to live and die for.

His mate.

Kael could become practically anything his beloved needed him to be.

So perhaps he didn’t need to second-guess this either.

"I’m sure because you’re sure."

"Huh?" Riley blinked. "I’m sure?"

"Yes. You’re sure."

Kael lowered his head until his ear rested directly over Riley’s heart, listening intently to its steady rhythm.

"Very certain," he murmured.

Then his gaze lifted.

"You’re as certain about this as you are about me."

Riley’s expression softened in surprise.

His fingers slipped into Kael’s silky golden hair before moving down to caress his face. The dragon lord’s eyes fluttered shut almost immediately, his cheek instinctively nuzzling into Riley’s palm.

"And that’s enough for you?"

"Mn..." Kael answered without hesitation. "Because even when I’m not sure about myself, I’m always certain about you."

The golden dragon wasn’t kidding in the slightest. He liked himself better when he was with his mate. In his mind, even the world itself seemed considerably more tolerable provided Riley was there.

So if there was anyone who would possibly bring forth dragons whom Kael would be able to tolerate, likely even treasure, then it would be from his Riley.

Meanwhile, said black dragon had the unfortunate privilege of feeling all those emotions through their bond.

Gods.

Riley genuinely didn’t know whether he wanted to laugh or cry.

Maybe Kael was right.

Because Riley was sure.

How could he not be when his other half loved him like this?

His golden dragon might remain completely oblivious to it, but Riley knew he could only crave this kind of future because it was one he’d be building with Kael.

A guy who didn’t even give himself nearly enough credit.

Because while Riley loved him more than life itself, he wasn’t crazy enough to risk the entire continent for someone who wasn’t worth his salt. Kael was worth that risk and so much more.

The problem was, the man himself simply didn’t seem to believe it.

After giving his mate’s cheek one final caress, Riley’s expression gradually turned thoughtful.

Then a familiar glint appeared in his eyes.

"Honey, what if we do it like this?"

Kael, naturally, agreed before Riley had even finished explaining.

What the dragon lord hadn’t expected was for his beloved to offer himself from behind, arching his back and jutting out his rear for Kael to take him while Riley’s face was almost flush against the mattress.

Riley glanced back at him, completely shameless.

"Like this, you’ll be able to go deeper, right?"

Kael went still.

His golden eyes swept over his mate as he felt his entire body throb with need.

Beautiful.

His fingers went to cup the rear he loved so much and he breathed out in desperation as the head of his cock was poised right by his mate’s entrance.

Kael mounted him, ready to take him as far as he possibly could.

"...!"
