Chapter 114: Chapter 111: The Witch Association’s Tens of Thousands of Potential Believers

Noon.

A supercar sped down the road, heading straight for the old district.

From the driver’s seat, Jin Meiting glanced sideways at Su Yubo.

"I can’t inscribe too many Succubus’s Evil Marks.

So, every Witch I create has to bring sufficient value to the Witch Association. Understand?"

According to Su Yubo’s plan, there would be seven Witches in total.

Excluding herself, Jin Meiting would have to inscribe the Succubus’s Evil Mark on six other Witches.

After inscribing the mark on Su Yubo last night, her head was still spinning.

She had secretly done the math based on her own abilities.

If she shared the Succubus’s Evil Mark with six people, she definitely wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Su Yubo said with a sweet smile,

"Relax, beautiful. This friend of mine will definitely be a pleasant surprise."

Jin Meiting pursed her lips.

"She’d better be. At the very least, she needs to be more useful than you."

Su Yubo was, in fact, very useful.

She had hundreds of thousands of fans online. If she used her Hypnosis and Enchantment on them night after night, there was no telling how many would be converted into followers of the Witch Association.

The car arrived in the old district.

The old district was large and dilapidated, with very few parking spots in this area.

Jin Meiting found a random place to park and followed Su Yubo into a building.

The building had no elevator, so they climbed all the way to the top floor in one go.

In the past, these two delicate beauties would have been panting for breath from the exertion.

But now, one was a Succubus and the other a Witch, so they didn’t feel tired at all.

Su Yubo knocked on a door.

The old apartment had poor soundproofing; they could hear someone shuffling over in slippers.

A moment later, the door opened.

Jin Meiting sized up the young woman.

She looked to be about seventeen or eighteen, and it was hard to tell if she was a legal adult.

She was wearing an oversized black t-shirt and cotton pajama pants. Her hair was a mess, and she wore thick glasses.

A very sloppy-looking girl.

The only thing that didn’t fit the typical shut-in look was the many tattoos covering her body.

A large Eye of Darkness tattoo covered her neck, its scarlet pupil looking eerily realistic.

Her left arm depicted an unidentifiable skeletal monster, which held the Son of God, nailed to a Cross, in its mouth.

Overall, her tattoos were all related to religion; she looked like an avid fan of religious subcultures.

When the young woman saw Su Yubo, she cried out in surprise.

"Oh my god, the great beauty Taotao is here! I’ve really missed your peaches!"

After shouting, she dove headfirst into Su Yubo’s embrace, happily copping a feel.

Su Yubo smiled at Jin Meiting and said,

"Her name is Li Yaolin. You can just call her Little Bear."

Jin Meiting glanced inside the room.

There were seven or eight instant noodle cups on the table, and snacks of all kinds were piled into a mountain on the floor.

It was a total mess. As far as the eye could see, there was nothing but food.

’Why call her Little Bear? Little Pig would be more fitting,’ Jin Meiting grumbled inwardly.

Su Yubo gave an awkward laugh.

"Don’t judge her by her appearance. She’s an expert hacker."

Jin Meiting’s beautiful eyes lit up slightly.

A hacker?

Jin Meiting looked at Little Bear suspiciously.

’Aren’t high-level hackers supposed to be bald, middle-aged men?’

’This girl looks like a high schooler, doesn’t she?’

Jin Meiting asked,

"You... did you graduate from high school?"

Little Bear waved her hand haughtily.

"I didn’t even graduate from middle school!"

Jin Meiting stared at Su Yubo, her expression blank.

’Are you kidding me?’

Su Yubo explained,

"She put all her skill points into information technology. You really shouldn’t underestimate her."

Little Bear crossed her arms and looked Jin Meiting up and down.

"Taotao, who’s this smug, big-chested lady?"

Su Yubo quickly covered Little Bear’s mouth.

"Why don’t you show us your servers first."

Little Bear reluctantly stepped aside.

"Please, come in."

This was the top floor, and it came with an attic.

Jin Meiting followed the two of them up to the attic.

Once inside the attic, the scene changed completely.

The curtains were drawn.

The walls were covered with illustrations from Dante’s Divine Comedy, as well as various drawings of Buddhas, Demons, Devils, and monsters.

It had a strong religious subculture vibe.

Just as she thought, this girl was an avid fan of religious subcultures.

The space was illuminated by the electronic glow of technology—the light from all sorts of computers.

The most surprising thing was that there was even a platinum cloud server here!

Su Yubo said,

"Little Bear is a Ghost God Fan."

After saying this, she leaned close to Jin Meiting’s ear and whispered,

"She’s... not all there in the head. Don’t take anything she says to heart."

Jin Meiting nodded.

"I can tell."

Her gaze followed Little Bear.

She watched her sit down in front of a computer, her fingers clattering away on the keyboard.

Su Yubo led Jin Meiting over to the computer and said,

"This is a website we made before.

The site is called the Mutual Aid Association.

The idea is to bring together people from all over the world who are suffering from serious illnesses and pain.

These patients are all lonely people struggling in despair.

Besides finding companionship and comforting one another, they can also help each other out.

I think it could save a lot of people.

Since the site just launched, there aren’t many users yet, but I think it has a lot of future potential."

A sharp glint flashed in Jin Meiting’s eyes.

Just as Su Yubo said, people with serious illnesses are lonely individuals struggling in despair.

Perhaps Life Essence Qi couldn’t cure them completely, but relieving their pain and extending their lives wouldn’t be difficult.

With a power like Life Essence Qi, all the users of the Mutual Aid Association would become obsessed with the Witches and turn into the Master’s fanatical believers!

Jin Meiting stepped forward, placing both hands on the computer desk.

"Is this website secure? Could it be easily shut down by the authorities?"

Jin Meiting now understood Su Yubo’s plan.

Little Bear worshiped religious subcultures. If Jin Meiting revealed her Demon form, Little Bear would instantly become a loyal follower.

But the most important thing was this website.

It would be the cradle where the Witch Association would birth its believers!

Little Bear said, displeased,

"Who do you take me for?

I started learning to write virus code in elementary school and could build firewalls in middle school.

Three years ago, I competed in an international hacking competition and came in second place."

As Little Bear spoke, her eyes suddenly widened in astonishment, and her jaw dropped.

Jin Meiting was transforming.

Two goat-like horns sprouted from the top of her head.

A Succubus tail emerged from behind her, swinging back and forth.

Jin Meiting’s pupils turned into pink hearts as she stared at Little Bear.

"I will continue to fund you. I want the absolute best for this website, whether it’s the firewall or anything else."

"AHHHHH!!!!"

Seeing Jin Meiting’s new form, Little Bear let out a piercing shriek.

But her face showed not a trace of panic, only an indescribable excitement!

The corner of Jin Meiting’s eye twitched again.

’Is this girl mentally ill?’

’Right, Su Yubo did say she wasn’t all there in the head.’

Su Yubo walked over to Little Bear and patted her on the shoulder.

"Welcome to the Witch Association."

Little Bear was thrilled. She grabbed Su Yubo’s hand.

"What... what is going on?

What’s the Witch Association? Tell me everything! I’m all ears!

I knew Devils existed in this world, I knew it!"

Little Bear started speaking incoherently.

Su Yubo sat down next to Little Bear and recounted the events of the past few days.

She told her everything: how Jin Meiting had saved her, the changes in her own body, the story of the Lord of Dusk, the Witch Association, and so on.

The more Little Bear listened, the more excited she became, her eyes sparkling like little stars.

’The Lord of Dusk?’

’The Twilight of the Gods, with countless spoils of war taken from defeated Deities!’

’So strong! So cool!!’

’And the Witch Association is a church dedicated to spreading the faith of the Lord of Dusk.’

’The leader of the church, the Witch of Jealousy, is actually a living Succubus!’

’This... this is simply!’

’It’s hitting all the right notes for me!’

Little Bear clasped her hands together and looked at Jin Meiting coquettishly.

"Please, pretty sister, turn me into a Witch too.

Did you know? It’s been my dream to be a Witch since I was a little girl! Really, I swear!"

Jin Meiting felt a pain in her molars.

’Didn’t you just hear the title ’Witch’ for the first time ten minutes ago?’

Little Bear continued to plead,

"I have so many ideas for the Witch Association, really!

Seriously, if you put me in charge of the Witch Association, I can make it so cool and awesome!

Don’t you want the Lord of Dusk to have a bunch of cool believers?"

Jin Meiting glanced at the room, filled with colorful subculture art steeped in religious themes.

She believed her.

’Let the professionals handle professional matters.’

Little Bear could be responsible for operating and maintaining the Witch Association’s online server backend, and she could also brainstorm cultural ideas for the Association.

’What should her Witch name be?’

’She can eat so much... how about the Gorging Witch?’
