Deed-199: King!?!

{ March 2024 A.Y. Yokai Realm, inside Naimisha Kingdom's Palace }

[ While everyone is busy preserving Lord's body, grieving and crying ]

[ Gunaniddhi leaves that place and goes out ]

[ While Gunaniddhi is walking away ]

[ Sampath follows his brother and asks where he is going ]

[ Gunaniddhi with despair ]

Gunaniddhi: Sampath! I can't see Dad like that!!!

[ Sampath pats Gunaniddhi's shoulder and hugs him ]

[ While they are hugging, Gunaniddhi with guilt asks ]

Gunaniddhi: Sampath! Please become the king!!! I am not worthy to sit on that throne!!!

Gunaniddhi: I am the reason why Dad and Mothers have suffered like that and left us!

Gunaniddhi: I am a good-for-nothing son! All I did was spread suffering and grief!!!

[ Sampath slaps Gunaniddhi ]

Sampath: No! You have never spread any suffering or grief to anyone!!!

Sampath: Don't lose your confidence! It was all a game of fate and time!!!

Sampath: You are the king of Naimisha Kingdom! Behave like one!!!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs ]

Gunaniddhi: With what face should I rule them all!?!

Gunaniddhi: I am nothing but a coward, incompetent weakling!!!

Gunaniddhi: When Sri Hari was leaving, I was unable to accompany him!

Gunaniddhi: A king who wants others' aid or support in war, is he really a king!?!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs ]

Gunaniddhi: A worthy king I am? I have planned to wage war on Madra Kingdom to get back Barfi! What a pity!?!

Gunaniddhi: I can't even keep up with my promises!!!

Gunaniddhi: Moreover, I killed my loved ones and let them all get killed!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs ]

Gunaniddhi: I have killed the people who loved me the most and whom I loved the most!!!

Gunaniddhi: How can I ask all these citizens to trust me and obey me!?!

Gunaniddhi: When I have killed the one who trusted me, why would anyone believe me!?!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs ]

Gunaniddhi: Do you really think that anyone would look at me with admiration and loyalty!?!

Gunaniddhi: I am unfit to even live on!!!

Gunaniddhi: I am the worst and the biggest failure!!!

Gunaniddhi: I am not at all worthy of that throne!

Gunaniddhi: Sampath! Become the king, please!!!

[ Sampath shouts ]

Sampath: What if you are weak!?! What if you want others' aid in wars! It doesn't make you weak!!!

Sampath: You know about yourself, at least you know your weaknesses, right!?!

Sampath: So all that we have to do is become stronger!!! We will become stronger together and rule over them all with love, like our Dad!!!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs ]

Gunaniddhi: Just leave me! I don't want this throne!!! Take it, please!!!

Sampath: You are the one whom I choose to follow and admire!!!

Sampath: You are the one who sits on that throne! I would cut my head if you ordered me to sit on that throne again!!!

[ Gunaniddhi sighs and with a despairing tone ]

Gunaniddhi: Hmm, I don't want to be the king of Naimisha anymore!!! I don't want to taint my Dad's name by sitting on that throne and leading this nation to doom!!!

Gunaniddhi: Do I have that much freedom, at least!?!

[ Sampath with sad and agreeing tone ]

Sampath: That's your wish, brother!!!

Sampath: I would love to be ruled by you! But no matter what you choose to do, I will follow you!!!

Sampath: Even if you choose to be a king or a beggar! I would follow you!!!

[ Gunaniddhi hugs Sampath and cries ]

Gunaniddhi: What great deeds did I do that I got a brother like you!!!

[ Sampath smiles ]

Sampath: The pleasure is all mine!!!

[ Gunaniddhi with a requesting tone ]

Gunaniddhi: Sampath! I am planning to leave the kingdom and go to a peaceful place, with no kings, no royalty, no nobility, no gossip, no need to show my worthiness, nothing!!!

[ Sampath in a suggesting tone ]

Sampath: No matter where we go! Lord Aryan, Lord Pavan and the Great Emperor would find us and bring us back!!!

Sampath: The only place where no kings, no nobility exists is the human realm, where Lord Aryan, Lord Pavan and the Great Emperor won't come, as it is restricted to yokai!!!

Sampath: It's the only place where we can go! As we are half-human!!!

[ Gunaniddhi nods his head in agreement ]

Gunaniddhi: Will you come along with me, Sampath!?!

[ Sampath happily ]

Sampath: I would follow you to even hell!!!

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath smile and walk towards the exit ]

[ Charu Hashini shouts from behind ]

Charu Hashini: How did you think that leaving me is fine!?!

Charu Hashini: Am I that much bothersome that you two haven't even considered asking me to come with you two!?!

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath understand that she heard all their conversation ]

Gunaniddhi and Sampath: We wanted you to become the Queen, that's why we wanted to leave without telling you, my dear!!!

[ Charu Hashini while crying ]

Charu Hashini: How did you ever think that I would sit on Dad's throne! It always belonged to Guna Bro!!!

Charu Hashini: It was never any of us to begin with!!!

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath smile ]

Gunaniddhi: I don't want it anymore, hence the next one in line gets the throne, my dear!!!

Charu Hashini shouts: Then it's not mine! Let Bro Sampath or Sri Hari have the throne!!!

Charu Hashini: I have no interest in becoming the ruler!!!

[ Charu Hashini while crying ]

Charu Hashini: How did you two think that I can live without you two!!!

Charu Hashini: Did I ever behave like I hate you or dislike any of you!?! Did I ever question your actions!?!

Charu Hashini: I didn't even question you for cursing Dad or letting Mothers die!!! I didn't even badmouth you for giving me such a hard time and making me an orphan!!!

Charu Hashini: Even after losing my parents, I wasn't in despair! As I knew that I had my brothers to depend upon!!!

Charu Hashini: You two know that I love you two the most, yet you planned to leave me all alone!?!

Charu Hashini: How? What sin did I do that all of you wanted to leave me all alone!!!

Charu Hashini: Was telling Maa Angel to send off Dad my sin!?!

Charu Hashini: Was not being able to see Dad suffer my sin!?!

[ Charu Hashini cries and with a broken voice and depressed tone ]

Charu Hashini: Even when Maa and Dad left, I didn't feel like an orphan or lonely!!!

Charu Hashini: I knew that you two would be by my side always!!!

[ Charu Hashini with hiccups while crying ]

Charu Hashini: I guess, you two really hate sinners!

Charu Hashini: But, please forgive your sister for all her sins and let her stay with you!!!

[ On hearing Charu Hashini's words, Gunaniddhi and Sampath get tears on their cheeks and embarrassed by their actions, they pat their lovely sister ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath with pride say that their sister was never a sinner, she was surely an angel, nothing less than that ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath apologize to her and tell her that they know how much she loves them, yet they planned to leave her, as they didn't want to take away their princess' luxurious lifestyle and let her lead a mediocre lifestyle in the human realm ]

[ Charu Hashini doesn't accept those words and insists on following them even to hell ]

[ Gunaniddhi and Sampath pat Charu Hashini's head and allow her to follow them ]

[ All three smile and walk towards the exit while remembering their memories attached to those walls, roofs and hallways. They all look at their palace with a goodbye look and go to alayas to beg for forgiveness for leaving the realm ]

[ While Charu Hashini, Gunaniddhi and Sampath are leaving the realm silently, Ministers, Advisors and Vidhur are busy preserving Lord's body, and all the citizens are sleeping peacefully, thinking that everything would become normal tomorrow ]
