Deed-197: Immortality

{ March 2024 A.Y. Yokai Realm, inside Naimisha Kingdom's Palace }

[ After the fight, Ram goes to perform his Sandhya Vandan and later, after his lunch, he goes on a walk ]

[ Ram looks at his kingdom and greets all his citizens by personally visiting their homes. None of the citizens know about Ram's curse and they all are upset by Mahindra Giri Kingdom and Queen Lotus' deaths ]

[ Citizens of Naimisha Kingdom console their Lord with their words. Ram smiles at all their comforting words and pats their shoulders for supporting him all these years. He tells them that tomorrow is going to be a holiday and no one must come to the palace ]

[ Citizens happily accept their holiday without any suspicion ]

[ After visiting his citizens' homes, Ram goes to do his evening Sandhya Vandan and does tapas till the next day's morning Sandhya Vandan while everyone else is praying in their homes ]

[ After doing the next day's morning Sandhya Vandan, Ram goes to Angel's chamber ]

[ Inside Angel's Chamber ]

[ Ram with a bit sad face ]

[ Angel understands something is off. She knows that her man is never afraid of death, it is something else which is bothering him ]

[ Angel in a comforting tone ]

Angel: Ram! What's bothering you, my dear!?!

[ Ram with a depressed face ]

Ram: Would you like to live on for eternity, or with immortality!?!

[ Angel smiles ]

Angel: Only you and me!?!

[ Ram smiles ]

Ram: Yes, my dear! Only us!!!

[ Angel smiles ]

Angel: No, my dear! It sure sounds nice to spend yugas with you!

Angel: But, I won't choose that option! As in the future, I have to see our loved ones, children, well-wishers die in front of us!

Angel: That would be unbearable to us, my dear!!!

[ Angel with a smug smile ]

Angel: Life has completeness only when it frightens us of dying tomorrow!!!

Angel: We won't value anything unless we know that it would end someday!!!

Angel: It doesn't mean that I want to die tomorrow!

Angel: I want to live until I see my grandchildren or their children!

[ Angel with an assuring smile ]

Angel: That would be enough! I am Ram's wife, no one can find greed in me!!!

[ Ram smiles ]

Ram: Would it be fine if I die with you too, or do you wish immortality for me!?!

[ Angel starts crying on hearing those words ]

Angel: Ram! I could never imagine you dying! But it doesn't mean that I would let you choose the curse of immortality!!!

Angel: I would hate any of them!

[ Ram smiles ]

Ram: Would you let me die after raising our grandchildren!?! Or do you want me to live for eternity!?!

[ Angel blushes and smiles ]

Angel: Yes, I guess that would be nice! I would rather see you grow old and leave your body like all others!!!

[ Ram smiles and with a confident tone ]

Ram: Angel! Only you can save me from immortality!!!

[ Angel gets confused ]

Angel: What!?!

[ Ram while crying ]

Ram: You have an astral power which makes sure that whatever you promise, it would happen, right!?!

[ Angel with a bit of suspicion and anxiety ]

Angel: Yes, dear! Shall I use my astral power of promise!?!

Angel: Do you want me to save you by using my promise astral power!?!

[ Ram sighs and smiles at her innocent reply ]

Ram: That won't work! As your astral powers can't do miracles!!!

Ram: Gunaniddhi's curse is far greater than your astral power of promise!

Ram: You can't save me, but...

[ Angel with anxiety listens ]

[ Ram with a broken tone ]

Ram: Do you remember that day when I hugged you for the first time!?!

Ram: Do you remember what you promised!?!

[ Thrr ]

[ Lightning falls nearby ]

[ Angel remembers what she promised that day and on remembering that promise, Angel faints ]

[ Ram goes and holds her ]

[ Angel while bawling and screaming ]

Angel: Ram, I can never kill you!!!

[ Ram with a sad smile ]

Ram: Except you, no one can kill me!!! Not even Gunaniddhi's curse can kill me!!!

[ Angel looks with a small hope ]

Ram: But Gunaniddhi's curse would happen for sure, it is certain!!!

[ Angel cries while getting confused by Ram's words ]

[ Angel hugs Ram tightly and weeps on Ram's shoulder ]

[ Angel with broken voice ]

Angel: I never meant that promise, Ram!!! Please save me from my misery!!!

[ Ram smiles ]

Ram: I just wanted to remind you about your promise, that's it! I didn't mean to make you cry, my dear!!!

[ Angel while hugging Ram tightly and weeping ]

Angel: Why did you remind it, my dear!?!

[ Ram hugs her and comforts her ]

Ram: It means, I will be revived again, that's for sure!!!

Ram: I just wanted to tell you that I will be back for sure! That's why I reminded it to you!!!

Ram: Moreover, devatas told me to remind you about this!!!

Ram: I guess that I would die today and get my soul captured and I would wake up later, for sure!

Ram: As I didn't get killed by your hands, it means I could never be killed! I will be revived again and again, until and unless you kill me!!!

Ram: As you would never kill me and I won't die unless you kill me!!! It sure is a way to get immortality!!!

[ Angel with surprise and confused face looks at Ram, as she had no idea how to react to those words ]

Ram: But I don't want immortality! I don't want to live a life where all my loved ones die and only I live on!!!

Ram: That's why I asked your opinion upon immortality!!!

[ Angel shouts ]

Angel: Absurd!!! I would never kill you!!!

[ Ram smiles and in a soothing tone ]

Ram: I didn't mean that! I was telling that everything would become normal! But this time, normal would take years, rather than a few months!!!

[ Ram starts comforting Angel with his words ]

[ Ram comforts Angel with all his words and begs her to hold onto her promise and continue living for the next 14 years and kill him when they both get older ]

[ They both talk for hours about the future and promises ]

[ After listening to Ram's words, Angel comes to a conclusion ]

[ Angel with a bit sad tone ]

Angel: Hmm, I would kill you after seeing our grandchildren having grandchildren!

Angel: Until then, I would never kill you!!!

[ Ram smirks and smiles ]

[ Angel smiles and rests her head on Ram's chest, as she gets confident that Ram will come back for sure ]

[ Ram and Angel talk for a while and comfort each other with their words and share their confidence with each other ]

[ They talk with each other for a few minutes and later call their children and other queens to talk with them and spend time with them too ]

[ They all talk for an hour ]

[ While talking with them, Ram unwraps a cloth and shows the warrior princess' daggers with which Angel threatened Ram during their first meeting ]

(Daggers)

[ Everyone gets surprised, as they thought that it was lost ]

[ Ram smiles and hands it over to Angel ]

Ram: Take these dagger!!!

[ Angel blushes with embarrassment ]

Ram: Hold onto these dagger until I return!!!

Ram: It was my lucky charm all these years! Now I hand it over to you!!!

Ram: Please be safe, my dear!!!

[ Ram while looking at his loved ones with a happy and content face ]

Ram: I want all of you to be healthy and looking after one another when I wake up!!!

[ Queens and children hug Ram and agree to his condition to be healthy and look after one another ]

[ They all talk while hugging Ram and after talking with them all, they all go to the courtroom ]
