The Devil Does Not Need to Be Defeated

Chapter 685-686

Chapter 685: Who Can I Complain To?

Succubus Fortress, Top Floor, Shafney’s Room.

“Thud…”

Shien, pulled into the room by Shafney, was pushed onto the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

“Hee hee.”

Shafney, as she had done for the past two days, climbed onto the bed seductively, showcasing her perfect figure.

Same old song and dance.

But Shien felt even more exasperated than two days ago.

“Witch, what do you want?” he asked, his face filled with indignation, making a decision in his heart.

If this witch said “guess” again, he wouldn’t hold back anymore, making her regret it and showing her that even a Buddha could get angry.

But she seemed to see through him.

“I’m here to talk about serious business,” Shafney said seriously.

“Serious business?” Shien’s eye twitched, pointing at her and then himself, “Have you ever seen anyone discuss serious business in bed, in such a suggestive pose?”

“I haven’t,” Shafney still looked serious, “And that’s why it’s so fun.”

You’re so shameless.

Shien almost blurted it out. He could see that this woman had probably never been rejected by a man before, which was why she was so persistent with him.

Not for any other reason, just for fun.

This witch was the most playful of the Six Demon Lords, even more so than the innocent and naive Millu.

Of course, Millu played children’s games, only sometimes being dangerous. This witch, however, played adult games…

“Excuse me.”

Shien wanted to flee again.

But Shafney, as if on cue, got to the point.

“Let me tell you about the current situation first,” she said casually, “I’ve already told my sisters that you’re here.”

You should have done that earlier. What have you been doing for the past two days?

Shien swallowed these words. Otherwise, this witch would definitely tease him again.

So, Shien quickly got to the point, asking, “Then did Airi say when she’s coming to get me?”

Hearing this, Shafney looked resentful.

“You’re in such a hurry to leave?” she said, “Am I really that scary?”

Yes, you are!

Shien wanted to say this directly.

But considering the consequences, he chickened out.

“Of course not,” he said with a forced smile, “Being accompanied by the most beautiful woman in the three realms, I couldn’t be happier.”

Shafney’s resentful expression was instantly replaced by a bright smile.

“I knew you would say that,” she said happily, “So I already told little Airi that she doesn’t need to come and get you.”

Shien almost vomited. Who could he complain to about this?

“Alright, don’t act like it’s the end of the world,” Shafney patted Shien’s shoulder, amused, “Little Airi wasn’t at ease letting you stay here with me. She wanted to come and get you immediately after learning you were here. But I told her I would take you to Central City, and she reluctantly agreed.”

“Central City?” Shien was slightly startled.

“It’s the central city of the Moon Demon Territory, where big sister resides,” Shafney explained, “In a few days, all the Demon Lords will gather there. I’ll take you there then, and you’ll be able to see little Airi.”

“A few more days?” Shien blurted out.

“What?” Shafney raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her face, “Is that too long?”

“N… no…” Shien forced a laugh, sighing inwardly.

Not just too long, but incredibly long!

Shien, unable to voice his complaints, changed the subject.

“Why are all the Demon Lords gathering in Central City in a few days?” he asked, showing appropriate concern.

Shafney, however, looked annoyed.

“Isn’t it all because of you?” she said angrily, “If it weren’t for your sudden appearance as the Hero, causing unrest in the Demon Race and even the other two races, how could we be so busy?”

“Uh…” Shien immediately shut his mouth.

Shafney continued as if she hadn’t noticed,

“In a while, the God Race, the Human Race, and the Demon Race will hold a three-race meeting regarding your appearance.” She continued, “The time and place seem to have been decided. And with your engagement to little Airi, big sister asked us to gather at the Supreme Castle in Central City in three days.”

Then, Shafney said seriously,

“You’ll have to attend as well.”

Since Shien was the center of this conflict, he had to attend not only the Demon Lords’ meeting but also the three-race meeting.

His stance and words were crucial. The three races would decide how to handle this matter based on his performance and statements.

In other words…

“If you mess this up, you will become the culprit who destabilized the peace between the three races,” Shafney chuckled, “If that happens, even marrying all six of us sisters might not be enough to calm things down.”

Holy moly.

“I still want to live a little longer,” Shien said seriously.

“Hopefully,” Shafney smiled, seemingly not hearing him, “Such an interesting Hero finally appeared, and I don’t want to lose this rare amusement so soon.”

Did this witch really see him as a toy?

He really wanted to spank her…

“Oh, right,” Shafney said as if remembering something, “Those little ones who came to the Demon Realm with you are all fine. You don’t have to worry too much.”

“Oh?” Shien perked up, “How are they doing?”

“They’re doing well,” Shafney said, seemingly disinterested in anyone but Shien, “Your rather excellent dragon has been taken in by little Airi and is now practically the little tyrant of the Dragon Demon’s territory, pampered by everyone, including the executives, who seem very happy about this promising dragon’s arrival.”

“Little Airi’s dragon executive and the two magical being attendants have also returned to the Dragon Demon’s territory safe and sound. They shouldn’t encounter any major problems in the Demon Realm.”

“But that little Evil God who entrusted her [True Mark] to you actually fought Kamina, almost tearing apart the entire Poison Demon Territory.”

Hearing the first half of Shafney’s words, Shien was relieved, but the latter half made him worry again.

“Is Lilith alright?” he asked, a hint of urgency in his voice.

“She’s fine,” Shafney shook her head, “As expected of the Evil God on par with Artemis. She fought Kamina for a whole day and night, showing no signs of defeat, even making Kamina truly angry. If big sister hadn’t intervened and stopped them, the Poison Demon Territory might have been truly destroyed.”

“And even so, nearly one-third of the Poison Demon Territory was affected, with various degrees of damage and destruction, over ten mountain ranges reduced to rubble, and millions of kilometers of land turned into dust, drastically altering the terrain. It seems the demons in the Poison Demon Territory will have a hard time.”

Shien was shocked and terrified.

Was this the true power of a Demon Lord-level transcendent being?

If the Holy Sword didn’t counter the Demon Race, even the current him could only kneel before a Demon Lord, right?

It seemed that even with Transcendent Level combat power, he was still the weakest among them, probably only able to fight against the Goddess of Life and the Goddess of Nature. He was still far from being able to fight against Demon Lord-level transcendent beings.

To surpass these broken beings, he would probably have to truly transcend.

Thinking of this, Shien asked,

“Then where is Lilith now?” This was his only concern.

“In Central City,” Shafney replied truthfully, “Big sister has taken that little Evil God back to her territory.”

“That’s good,” Shien was finally relieved.

Then, Shafney changed the subject.

“However…” She drew out her words.

“How… however what?”

Shien’s relief turned into anxiety, and he wanted to curse. This hateful witch was doing this on purpose.

As expected…

“However, it seems Kamina isn’t planning to let this go,” Shafney said with a smile, “Coupled with her opposition to little Airi’s marriage, you’ll have another reason for her to target you in Central City.”

This was indeed unfortunate. Being targeted by a Demon Lord, in this world without the Supreme God and the Demon King, was probably the most unfortunate thing.

Even the God Race didn’t want to offend a Demon Lord, and Shien had already offended one, and it was Kamina, the Poison Demon, recognized as the most ruthless among them. He would probably be in for a world of hurt.

Of course…

“Don’t think she’s the only one with a bad temper,” Shien said meaningfully.

Under such circumstances, Shafney actually became worried for Shien.

“Offending Kamina too much isn’t a wise choice,” she even advised.

“Why?” Shien frowned.

He knew how dangerous a Demon Lord was.

However, he also had Lilith and Airi backing him, and he had the ability to deal with a Demon Lord to a certain extent. He shouldn’t be too afraid.

But Shafney said,

“Because her abilities are the most terrifying.”

Her expression turned serious.

“Abilities… huh?”

Shien pondered.

Chapter 686: The Abilities of the Six Demon Lords

Shien Buztout was no longer as clueless about the unique abilities of the Six Demon Lords.

Although his knowledge wasn’t comprehensive, he now knew the Unique Skills of several of them. This wasn’t a deeply hidden secret. The long-standing war between the Gods and Demons had exposed the Unique Skills of the Six Demon Lords.

Therefore, their abilities were no longer a secret.

For example, Sara, the Moon Demon’s Unique Skill, (Hazing Moon Pilgrimage), greatly enhanced her power at night, amplifying all her abilities. Because of this Unique Skill, she earned the title of Moon Demon. Under the moonlight, depending on the phase of the moon, her power would further increase, reaching its peak under a full moon, making her capable of fighting even Lildas, the Goddess of Fate, the closest to omnipotence.

The Beast Demon, Liddomar, and the Dragon Demon, Airi’s, Unique Skills were similar to Sara’s, all enhancing their power.

Airi, like all dragons, only awakened one Unique Skill – [Dragon Transformation]. However, Airi’s [Dragon Transformation] was the strongest, allowing her to revert to her dragon form and increasing her power tenfold, far surpassing ordinary dragons, whose power only increased three to five times.

Lid’s Unique Skill allowed her to freely manipulate her size. Although seemingly unremarkable, this ability was no less powerful than Airi’s [Dragon Transformation]. The larger Lid became, the stronger she was, and vice versa. In her small beast form, she was almost powerless, but if she took it seriously, she could transform into a colossal prehistoric beast, thousands of meters tall, capable of crushing cities and mountains with a single step or kick. This was the Beast Demon Liddomar’s Unique Skill – [Beast God Transformation].

As for Millu’s Unique Skill, it was [Ghost Seed], allowing her to exist like a true ghost, intangible and able to move freely, even through walls, without leaving a trace.

She could even fly and burrow underground, creating an army of ghouls.

With this versatile skill, she could even curse, enter dreams, release resentful spirits, absorb life force, and directly attack souls, making her the most versatile among the Six Demon Lords. If not for her innocent nature, she could turn the world into hell. Therefore, Artemis, the Goddess of Justice, always saw Millu as the most evil being after the Demon King, even trying to eliminate her during the final battle a thousand years ago.

Unfortunately, she failed.

As a ghost-like being, even if her body was destroyed, as long as a fragment of her soul remained, Millu could be resurrected. Therefore, she was not only the most versatile but also the most difficult to kill among the Six Demon Lords.

Finally, there was Kamina, the Poison Demon. She possessed the terrifying ability to freely create all kinds of poisons, even those that didn’t exist, without needing any materials. She could turn a single hair into a deadly poison, a single teardrop into a flesh-eating toxin. Every part of her body was poisonous, and her poison, like dragon breath, could bypass all defenses and resistance, causing certain death.

“Can you imagine someone silently infiltrating a city, dropping a single drop of blood into the water supply, then leaving, and the entire city dying the next day?”

“Can you imagine a girl taking a bath in a river, a stream, or even the ocean, turning those places into deadly poisonous zones?”

“Even more terrifying, a single breath from her could instantly kill a Limit Level expert, even melting their flesh.”

“This is Kamina, the Poison Demon’s Unique Skill – [Heavenly Poison Body].”

Shafney spoke of these terrifying things.

“Because of this, even we don’t want to offend Kamina.”

“After all, who knows if she’ll release a terrifying poison while talking to you?”

“Even without touching you, she can release colorless and odorless toxins, killing you without you even realizing it.”

“Even her breath and exhalation can be poisonous. Would you want to offend such a person?”

“Definitely not, right?”

This was why Shafney warned Shien. Not just because Kamina was her sister, but because she genuinely wanted to warn him of her danger.

The title of “most ruthless Demon Lord” wasn’t given lightly.

Kamina deserved it.

“Little Airi least wants you to meet me and Kamina,” Shafney said, seeing through Airi’s thoughts.

“She doesn’t want you to meet me because she knows how attractive I am to men.”

“She doesn’t want you to meet Kamina because she knows how terrifying she is, not wanting you to suffer at her hands.”

“Although Millu can also be dangerous, her danger is controllable. Even if she’s angry one moment, she might be appeased the next.”

“But Kamina is different. Once she’s angered, even big sister might not be able to stop her.”

Shafney explained how terrifying the Poison Demon was.

“Is her poison really that powerful?” Shien frowned, somewhat doubtful, “Even you are afraid?”

“Don’t underestimate it,” Shafney said seriously, “Her poison is also troublesome for us. Although it won’t instantly kill us like those who haven’t transcended, it can still affect our bodies, minds, and even souls.”

In short, even Transcendent Level beings had to be wary of Kamina’s poison.

“Perhaps only Lildas, the Goddess of Fate, can completely ignore Kamina’s poison.”

“And then there are Heroes who have reached Transcendence. Their Holy Swords can also purify Kamina’s poison.”

In other words, without reaching Transcendence, one couldn’t purify it.

“Your Holy Sword is very powerful, even in its sealed state, enough to make me feel threatened, so it shouldn’t be completely helpless against Kamina’s poison,” Shafney warned, “But even this powerful Holy Sword can only save your life, not completely protect you from her poison.”

Therefore, Shafney warned Shien.

Shien, however, was worried about something else.

“Lilith fought that Poison Demon for a whole day and night. Isn’t she poisoned?”

“Well, she’s definitely poisoned, but with that Evil God’s power, she shouldn’t die from it, right?” Shafney chuckled, “Similarly, that little Evil God’s power must have affected Kamina, but she shouldn’t be consumed by the evil aura either.”

After all, they were both transcendent beings, and their powers could affect each other, but not fatally. The fact that Lilith and Kamina fought for a whole day and night without a clear victor proved this.

“Anyway, be careful when you meet Kamina,” Shafney said, fulfilling her duty to warn him, “Don’t touch her, don’t get close to her, and don’t even touch or approach anything she has touched. This is the most basic precaution.”

This was basically telling Shien to stay far away from the Poison Demon.

“Also, let me tell you one more thing,” Shafney looked at Shien, “We’ve investigated what happened on the day you came to the Demon Realm.”

Shien understood what she meant.

She was referring to the incident they encountered.

“We’ve preliminarily determined that a Transcendent Level being followed you to the Demon Realm,” Shafney revealed, “That being’s power unintentionally interfered with the passage between the Human Realm and the Demon Realm, causing it to collapse, which is why you encountered that incident.”

Fortunately, it ended without any major issues.

“That being probably didn’t do it intentionally. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have all arrived safely,” Shafney muttered to herself, “But who could it be?”

Clearly, not just Shafney, but the other Demon Lords were also concerned about this.

Of course, that wasn’t something Shien needed to deal with.

“That’s all for the serious business,” Shafney clapped her hands, as if her task was complete, “Prepare yourself for the next three days. You might be very busy.”

Leaving these words, Shafney stood up and prepared to leave.

Seeing this, Shien asked instinctively,

“What’s your Unique Skill?”

He was curious about this.

He knew the Unique Skills of the other Demon Lords.

Only this Succubus, her Unique Skill seemed special.

“Me?” Shafney smiled meaningfully, “I can only say that unlike my sisters, my Unique Skill isn’t related to my title.”

After saying that, Shafney vanished.

Shien fell silent.

For a long time, there was no movement.
