Chapter 117: The Devil’s Private Business
Chapter 117: The Devil’s Private Business
As much as I wanna appreciate God’s favorite, I can’t. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and my insides churned as I kept picturing another woman in my place last night.
Questions arose about all his private business. I pondered what Ares King does, and it was certainly not filing papers in those hours.
I eyed the two plates of breakfast on the table, and I crawled out to bed, suddenly feeling a storm of hunger.
I could feel Ares’ eyes following me as I neared it, bending over to grab a toast.
His gaze was glued to my ass now, and when I angled my head to see, it was like a beast ready to devour its first meal of the day. I was enraged at myself for wanting the same thing right now.
I should have straightened my position or walked away, but I didn’t, even as he came behind, phone still to his ear, and sinking his nails into my hips.
“This is an important call. Don’t make a sound.”
I grunted as I slapped my palms on the table for balance when his cock slid into me with ease.
I have no words to justify myself anymore. My traitorous body was already begging for him like thirst.
Ares went slowly, attention divided, or maybe he wanted to torment me this morning, and what was more hot was how his eyes were fixed on how his cock thrust in and out of my pussy.
I clawed at the table when he gave one hard thrust and bit my lips, still wanting to obey.
“Yes… Make sure you get more deals. Everything,” he said on the line with a calm, controlled voice while fucking me slowly.
“And that… renovations will begin. Athena can make supervisions if she wants, but charge it to my account.”
Renovations?
I heard the call end, and he tossed his phone on the nearby couch. “Good girl,” he praised, and I melted into a poodle, the effect making the squelch noise fill the air.
And when he began drilling into me, slapping skins echoed like a sinful soundtrack mix.
Staying in the position for too long almost made the toast I just ate come back out, but I was hauled up and pressed against his solid chest.
“I need you walking around with my cum running down your thigh. Do I make myself clear, baby?”
I didn’t reply, feeling my stomach clench.
His grip tightened on my neck, cutting off the air. “Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?”
“Y-Yes…!”
“Yes, what?”
“Yes, honey!” I gasped when he grunted and came, my release not too far away as I quivered, whimpering like a ruined girl.
He pulled out of me and twirled me to face him. “Let’s talk.”
I had no desire to talk.
“Red…” I said not knowing if that was gonna work in this situation.
Ares narrowed his eyes, and I could tell he wanted to have this talk about our intimacy, but I don’t care anymore. He’d rather talk about that than the club.
“Finish your breakfast.” He walked past me to the bathroom.

“Here!” Athena handed me my purse.
“Thank you. What about Tori…?”
“Oh, she’s fine, took a day off. You should have seen her talking about the regrets of trying to compete in drinking shots with me. I do admire her courage, though.”
I sighed, opening my purse to check if everything was intact. “I told her not to have too much to drink, and shouldn’t you be down the rabbit hole or something?”
Athena giggled. “How can I? After the lovely gift Ares gave me?”
“Gift?”
“Yeah! He was really not happy that we sneaked behind his back to go clubbing, so he bought the club. It’s under renovation now.”
He bought the club?
That must be what he was talking about on the phone. And probably what he did to those brothers. Talk about brutal. I recalled hearing how important that club was, and how much they wanted to please their guest.
“That’s awesome!”
“I know… right? Oh, and it’s gonna be a club for just girls!”
My smile dropped instantly. A club for girls. Does this mean he would go there for them? For all I knew, last night was certainly not the first, that private business.
“Athena.”
“Yeah?” she replied, checking her face on the small hand mirror she held.
“Ares is a workaholic, right?”
“Are we still on that?”
“Its—”
“How about we talk about that bruise on your cheek?”
“I fell,” I deadpanned. “And let’s not talk about that. Ares is always on about business, deals, and everything a businessman should be doing. I know I’m his secretary and I should have ideals about everything.”
Athena tipped her head.
“Is there any… private business he does?”
“What’s that?”
“It’s a label since he randomly leaves at night and comes back the next day, or goes away for a long time. Places I’m not needed.”
Athena seemed intrigued now, and it felt like I was talking with Ares because he always observes me when I rant.
“Why don’t you just ask him then? About his… private business?”
I shouldn’t have brought it up.
“Don’t mind me, just ranting again.” I searched through my purse like I was looking for something, but I wasn’t.
Athena giggled, and I lost it.
“What’s the point of asking him when he doesn’t wanna talk about the club but fuck?!”
“Oh my Cat…!”
At this point, I think I might prefer mafia shit over the thought of Ares with another woman. Of course, because the contract states no third party. But that Devil is omnipotent, and something like this is probably beneath him.
“Who’s Jenna?”
I froze at Athena’s abrupt question, slowly veering my eyes to her.
She rested her arms on the counter and leaned. “I saw notifications pop up. Plenty. I didn’t know you had a friend aside from Tori.” She narrowed her eyes. “I thought your circle was smaller.”
“Y-You went through my phone?”
