Guan Shining swaggered towards the guest room, while Han Jing went to a side washroom for a quick fresh-up. By the time she came out, dinner was already laid out, and Guan Shining was sitting at the dining table looking quite presentable.

Having changed out of his loose groom’s attire and washed the powder from his face, Han Jing realized that Guan Shining was actually a handsome young man with rosy lips and white teeth, his features delicate. He seemed no more than eighteen or nineteen, probably pampered all his life, with an air of arrogance typical of a spoiled second-generation rich kid. Han Jing couldn’t help but click her tongue in surprise: "You look quite good clean. Why put on makeup like a ghost just for a wedding?"

"Yes, yes, yes," Little Tao nodded repetitively like a pounding garlic, then quickly greeted Han Jing, "Hello, Miss!"
