“Really!!!? For real!!! Thank you!!! Thank you for granting this wish of mine!! You have no idea how happy I am!” I leap into her arms as she catches me with a smile.

“Anything for my little pet!” She’s so kind to me. I can’t believe I managed to win over this goddess. When I was abandoned by Goddess Echidna, I honestly thought I would die and never get my revenge.

But when I entered the sea trying to hunt monsters to feed myself, I was captured by the sirens and ended up being taken to Delphina because back then I still had the Demon King title, even though I’ve already lost that title nowadays. Fortunately, even though I’m weak, I learned a lot about manipulation by watching the succubi.

“They… are people who did something terrible to me, and I want them to suffer. But they shouldn’t know me… so it’s kind of personal. I hate them, and they hurt me a lot.” When I say that, she seems satisfied.

“Don’t worry, Pandora. I’ll let you hurt them as much as you want, but wait a little, okay? I’m building an isolated room for you. You know how I hate noise. I don’t want screaming, alright?”

“I know!! I won’t bother you, Delphina.” Honestly, I have a lot to be thankful for. Even though my life is more like a pet’s, I would never have the power to get my revenge on my own.

My max level is high, but without the adaptation that was apparently the most important part of my race, I can’t even reach that level. In fact, I’m stuck near the power of a level 5,000, which isn’t necessarily low, but it only puts me at the level of a strong demon—not even close to a Demon King.

Honestly, I have some anger toward Goddess Echidna. I can’t say I hate her, but I’m angry that she lied to me. I didn’t have the power to get my revenge.
