"You really should shoot now." Jiang Yue said while staring straight at Zhang Biqi. This woman was indeed very dumb. How come she agreed to this deal if she was not going to shoot? Did she assumed that Jiang Yue would back out if she just waited a bit longer?

In fact, everyone from Zhang Biqi's family had assumed that Jiang Yue would back out. After all, if Zhang Biqi missed, she could hit Jiang Yue in the forehead, killing her instantly. The possibility itself was enough for anyone to fear participating in this type of game.

Everyone, especially Tang Jiali, held their breath waiting for the apple to fall to the ground. Surprisingly, the apple did not fall. Instead, it got stuck on the target board just behind Jiang Yue.

The arrow had hit the center of the apple, clearly showing that Zhang Biqi was indeed an expert.

Jiang Yue instantly clapped her hands. "Wow! You are so amazing! I should ask my cousin to teach me archery tricks soon!"

Seeing how Jiang Yue was happily jumping and praising Zhang Biqi, Wang Huo and Wang Minghua instantly relaxed. Both of them let out a sigh of relief before sending a glance at Fu Jin.

Fu Jin's expression obviously showed relief as a small smile escaped his lips.

However, this simple gesture did not go unnoticed by Zhang Biqi who was staring at him. She wanted to know if Fu Jin was impressed by her skills. And by the looks of it, it seemed like she finally succeeded because Fu Jin even smiled.

He had smiled because he was impressed at her t archery skills, right? Her skills and talent were not something that Jiang Yue could compare to.

"Alright! My turn!" Jiang Yue beamed at her. "Go. Fifteen meters is fine!"

Zhang Biqi bit her lips and lowered her head. On the outside, she looked as if she was having second thoughts about the whole thing, yet on the inside, she wanted to test if Fu Jin would try to stop her. After all, if Jiang Yue were to miss her target, she would become a criminal. That should not be taken lightly, right?

Wrong!

Zhang Biqi did not know that Fu Jin was smiling not because he was impressed with her but because he found Jiang Yue's plan quite impressive and to be honest, a little funny. He couldn't wait to watch these people squirm.

Fu Jin just stood there and watch as Jiang Yue went to choose a bow.

"Aiya... Jin... I forgot to wear my glasses today! Do you think one with a sight will work?" everyone heard Jiang Yue asked.

"Miss Jiang, don't ... don't tell me that your eyesight is not good?" Chen Shi asked, concern lacing her voice.

"Huh? Oh... Did I forget to tell you that? Or maybe you just didn't ask me?" she answered nonchalantly, making everyone want to vomit blood.

"Miss Jiang, this is very serious. What if you miss? You should have informed us of this earlier." Zhang Biqi said while gritting her teeth. If she knew she had a problem with her eyesight, Zhang Biqi would never have agreed to her suggestion.

"Oh... are you backing out? It's fine, just pay me fifty million. I really don't mind that. After all, we have a contract." Jiang Yue answered shamelessly. "I mean, a deal is a deal after all."

"I did not say that I would back down!"

"Great!" Jiang Yue interjected. "Jin help me choose a bow. I want something not too heavy with a sight so that I won't miss the apple." Once again she called for Fu Jin who went to her instantly.

Watching Jiang Yue smiling at Fu Jin only made everyone feel more aggravated. What was she doing? Did she do this on purpose?

"Miss Jiang, are you sure that you want to do this? My Biqi is very good at archery while you already said that you are not. What if you miss?" Chen Shi asked once again, trying to convince Jiang Yue not to proceed with this

Initially, she thought that it wouldn't come to this, since she and everyone with her thought that Jiang Yue was a coward and would back out. Then she would have to pay the fifty million penalty to Zhang Biqi. That was why no one from their side said anything when Jiang Yue proposed this.

They did not realize that Jiang Yue had offered the deal because she already anticipated what would happen. She had already analyzed everything. They had no idea that Jiang Yue was just laying down a trap for them.

"What do you mean? Do you want your daughter to back out? I mean, you should be able to afford fifty million right? It's not really a big amount after all." Jiang Yue's answer instantly silenced everyone.

Why was she harping on the fifty million ?

At that point, everyone realized that Jiang Yue was indeed very cunning in her ways. She made everyone think that she was naive and impulsive, leading them to believe she was a coward.

When she had everybody thinking that, Jiang Yue then proposed a contract because she knew that this amount of money would easily attract their attention.

Since everyone only saw Jiang Yue's bashful smile and innocent face, they failed to analyze the situation properly.

They should have known that Zhang Biqi was an expert and there was no way she would embarrass herself and miss while it was very likely that Jiang Yue did not even know archery since she already mentioned her lack of interest in the sport.

If one analyzed things clearly, they would have seen that Jiang Yue already had an advantage over them when she proposed the idea that they alternate in shooting the apple.

She was not an expert and her possibility of missing the target was greater than Zhang Biqi. Moreover, she was not afraid of hurting Zhang Biqi because they had already signed a contract that protected either party from bearing the responsibility if they were to miss the target and injure the other in the process.

With these realizations, everyone could only watch on in horror as Jiang Yue happily chose her bow.
