"Who do I have to turn up to if you not you??? Please!!!"

It was all she was asking yet he seemed adamant on his decision and as the seconds were passing by, she knew that she had screwed up real bad this time.

"You have many admirers, Tinsley Rutherford! You will have places to turn up to."

It was what he said and then pulled her off of his body. Holding her arms, he dragged her towards the door.

It had been over two days since that day. Tinsley had settled in Madison's house. Unlike the first time, this time she was very welcoming.

Anna Maria was beyond happy to have some time spent with the baby girl, she practically raised by herself..

With Madison often going out, either for work or to be with her girlfriend, the old woman was all by herself in the house and now getting to have a companion, she was ecstatic.

In the meantime, Tinsley tried everything to get back with her husband.

She called him, dropped long texts of apology yet he would not budge. She even went to visit him in their own house but she could not make it up to their apartment.

She heard from the neighbours gossiping that how she had betrayed her husband and now she had been kicked out of their house.

Some were even accusing her of indulging in extramarital affairs. It broke her respect and confidence to the point, she never left Madison's house premises anymore.

All she heard from Madi about him was that he had been focused on his work and soon things were going to change.

She was happy for him. She was. Finally, he was getting back on his work but in a day as such, her birthday, she missed him.

She had thought of this day way long before, a month ago that she would take him out on a date with her earned money.

And now sitting all by herself on the veranda, she could not come to do anything. Her mind was so stuck so was her life at the moment.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!"

She turned around to see Anna Maria, coming to her with a small baked cake and singing the song along with Madison, clapping her hands.

She rubbed her tears away and stood up smiling at them. As Anna Maria hold the cake, she leaned forward to blow the candles and then cut the cake.

After that, they had a hearty breakfast all cooked by the chef Anna Maria, assisted by Madison.

"Lana could have joined us!"

Anna Maria said, after breakfast. Madison grunted out in annoyance. She had told her for the nth time that Lana was out of the States.

"She is out for a modelling show in Canada, Nana!"

These days, Anna Maria had become forgetful and it was bound to happen with her age.

After wrapping up the breakfast, Madison collected her car keys to head out. Tinsley followed her.

"You are driving to the town?"

She asked expectedly to Madi. Madi nodded.

"Yes, today is the day when John will meet Kian finally making the deal official."

"Can you deliver this to him for me?"

Tinsley passed the enveloped letter to Madi. She eyed the envelop and then back at Tin.

"Why don't you go and give it to himself? We will be done with the meeting by twelve and then in the afternoon, you can drive my car and go visit him?"

Madison offered. As much as she did not like Tin being so desperate to get her husband's attention, she knew that how much Tin loved him and love makes you do crazy things even dropping off your self-respect and stomping over it.

Tinsley thought for a while at Madi's offer and then eventually agreed. She could not wait to finally go and meet him.

John and Kian shook hands, finally sealing the deal.

It was official, Kian had found a way and he would be ready with it the next month to officially drop it in the market.

And Kravinshky Industries would be channelling worldwide in exchange for thirty per cent stock of Kian's new upcoming company...whatever it would be called later in the future.

They popped champagne and celebrated the occasion before John left for his work. It was only Madi and Kian in his house after that.

"How long?"

Madi asked, drinking her glass of golden complete and keeping it on the kitchen counter. Kian narrowed his eyes at him.

"What do you mean how long? If you are asking about the project then I already told you, need another month for it to be finally complete and ready to be launched...I m doing ten men's work, Madison, keep it calm!"

Kian sassed, keeping the glasses back on the kitchen cabinet. With no wife, he had to do all the household chores too.

But it had been handy, ever since she left. He had missed her. He won't lie about that. Missed her presence, her laughter, more so on his bed during the night. Her smell still lingered on the bed.

"How long are you going to punish your own wife, Kian??"

Madi questioned, leaning on the kitchen counter. His movements stopped altogether.

He had not bothered to check up on her ever since he had thrown her out. It was from Madi, he was getting to know that she was residing with them.

"I did not sign up to cater you your wife, you do know that? Don't you??"

Madi pressed. She did not want to get involved in a matter of couple's life but he had not left her with any choice neither did Tinsley.

"How long are you going to make her stay away from you?? She did a mistake ok...she did it because I suggested her, Kian...she did not think it all by herself. You could say I brainwashed her!"

Madi let out, trying to make Kian understand that it was not Tinsley but her tragic ideas that had led to this.

"She is depressed, anxious, always crying and sad...common, man! It's enough...don't you think??"

Kian did not respond and continued to keep his mouth silent. Madison was getting annoyed by it. The way, he was behaving so indifferently.

"It is too much to kick your wife because she took pills?? Don't you think, dude??"

"Don't you teach me what's too much. Eye raping your girlfriend's brother if is not too much then don't you dare teach me what's too much, Madison Maria!"

Kian retorted back, shutting up Madison for good. He had seen, observed how throughout the meeting, Madison could not keep her eyes off John Kravinshky.

Anybody would and could see that something was going in between the two of them. It was very clear and lucid.

Madison could not believe what she just heard. He really was an asshole and a master of manipulation and not to forget a keen observer too.

"Fucking asshole!!"

She cursed at him and kicked off the last flower vase left on the house, breaking it into pieces, while storming out of the house.

Kian shook his head in disapproval at that action. After breaking all the vases himself, it was the last one and now that was broken too.

"You don't even fucking deserve her, bastard!"

She screamed the last part, shutting the door furiously behind her. Kian sighed, closing his eyes.

He never deserved her. It was very true. Nobody deserved to be with her. And hell! His life was so much easier without her in it.

It was peaceful!

Tinsley waited out peacefully for Madison to arrive. When she saw the black Audi making its way through the driveway, she walked forward.

She carried the basket of food with her and straightened her dress. Madison came out of the Audi, parking it by the street.

With whatever the kind of encounter, she had with him, she did not think it would be fit for Tinsley to visit him but did not know how to tell her that.

Tinsley smiled at her and then extended her hand for the car keys. Madison did not hand her right away.

"So you are ready huh??"

"Yes! I have been waiting for a while now! I think I have given him enough time, I guess! And today is my birthday, he would not dare do something wrong!"

Tinsley blurted out. Madi was not sure how much the situation was going to be like that.

The last time, she checked, he was the same asshole as Tinsley left him to be, not changed one bit.

"Maybe, we should give him some more time...he is being extra burdened with his work at the moment!"

Madi tried to divert this entire visiting him thing of off Tinsley. Tin only raised her eyebrows at Madi, not clearly understanding what was going on.

"I will get going then! "

Saying that Tin grabbed the lets and drove away.
