Chapter 332: Revenge For The Iron Fangs

Chapter 332: 332: Revenge For The Iron Fangs

The members of the Iron Fangs looked at Simon with frowns.

Some did not believe him. They believed that Simon was just going to use them to start a gang war or that he was going to force them to battle a faction.

Some were slightly satisfied by the fact that Simon was not completely nonchalant about it.

Although these were just words, they were spoken with conviction.

Simon did not bother waiting for the responses of the Iron Fangs. He turned and walked out of the gathering.

“Akaza. Follow me.”

Akaza shifted his gaze from Simon to Geryan.

“Make sure to take down the corpses and burn them.”

Akaza then gave a cold glare to the other members of the Iron Fangs.

“And none of you are to devour their hearts. Do you understand me?”

They all nodded, and Akaza nodded.

“Good.”

He walked after Simon, and some seconds later, they went inside the headquarters which was a bar and sat opposite each other.

One of the female Iron Fangs brought a bottle of wine for both leaders and poured it into two glass cups.

When she left, Simon looked at the glass wine for a few seconds, then he took a sip from chilled wine.

Akaza did the same, and there was silence for a moment till Simon broke the silence.

“Do you have any information on how those three were captured and killed? How they were brought here? Their whereabouts? Who did it? Anything at all?”

Akaza looked at his cup of wine, then he inhaled and exhaled deeply.

“I don’t know how they were captured or killed. They’re low ranking members of the Iron Fangs, so they’re not really known like that.”

Simon narrowed his eyes slightly at that information.

’Hmm… So they went for the low ranking members of the Iron Fangs. Does that mean that they can’t completely ignore the rules of the academy?’

’They don’t have the authority to do that, so they can only skirt around the rules?’

He looked up slightly, his eyes landing on Akaza who was sipping from his cup of wine.

’If I use this, then that means that whoever is behind the deaths of those three will most likely not be able to kill the more talented and popular members of the Iron Fangs like me and Akaza.’

’But I just can’t depend on this and believe that they would not try to kill Akaza. After all, if they kill him in a secretive manner like I killed Thorgan, then it would be a tremendous loss for me.’

He took another sip of his wine, then he spoke.

“Do you know anything else?”

Akaza shook his head slightly.

“Unfortunately, no.”

“Those who were in the headquarters in the middle of the night were already asleep or drunk by the time the bodies were placed outside.”

“It was quiet, and it was not until this morning that one of the members of the Iron Fangs came out and saw it. I was then notified.”

“We’re all assassins, so killing secretly is not a surprise to us. I also wanted to notify you about it earlier, but you had a class.”

Simon nodded slightly, then he leaned backward into his chair and released a deep sigh.

Akaza looked at him with a slight frown.

“What now? You plan on taking revenge. How?”

Simon was silent for a moment, then he placed his hands behind his head and hummed softly.

“I don’t know yet.”

Akaza’s frown deepened.

“In case you’ve forgotten because of this incident, we cannot kill a member of the three gangs or a faction for that matter. We do not have powerful backers that support us like they do.”

“Hmm.” Simon hummed softly, then he placed his feet on the table and placed his arms on the armrest of the chair.

“We don’t have to kill to teach those bastards a lesson.”

Akaza’s frown remained. “Then how do you plan on getting revenge? Those guys outside are on edge and if you don’t do it anything, they’ll rebel against you regardless of your poison.”

“And you should also not think of forcing them to fight your battles for you. They won’t sacrifice themselves for you.”

Simon released a deep sigh, then he placed his feet on the ground.

“Don’t worry, Akaza. I’ll get the revenge they want. I’ll also do it myself.”

Akaza was slightly surprised. “You’ll do it yourself?”

Simon nodded, then he drank the remaining wine in his cup in one go.

“Yeah. I will. We have to make a statement and show everybody that we’re not to be trifled with.”

“They’ll pay threefold for what they’ve done.”

Without waiting for a response from Akaza, he stood and walked toward the exit.

Akaza watched him leave without saying a word.

“Hopefully he doesn’t do something stupid and drag us down with him. And I also hope he doesn’t take too long before he takes revenge for the Iron Fangs.” Akaza said with a shake of his head.

Meanwhile, Simon was thinking about what option he should take.

To be able to give the Iron Fangs the revenge they want, he needed to either get stronger or learn something new.

’It’s either I exchange some merits for hell stones and rent a cultivation room. Or I learn chaos runes, or I learn a mental offensive technique.’

’If I choose to increase my heart rank to the Prime grade, many would be suspicious and questions would be asked. So, that’s a no for now.’

’Learning a chaos rune can take time. I might not be able to learn something I need very quickly.’

’I guess that leaves mental techniques. It would make it easier for me to knock out those I target with mental attacks. And I won’t have to make a scene.’

After coming to a decision on what next he should do, his next destination became the library.

Unlike what many would think or believe, he planned on having his revenge very soon.

This night to be exact.

He was going to strike back.

And he was going to strike back hard.
