Chapter 303: Black Vines & Roots
Chapter 303: 303: Black Vines & Roots
Minutes after the three gangs began to move, two First Year Initiates were walking toward the academy gate while talking about a spar that happened not too long ago in their class.
“Did you watch the spar between Sunless and Dawn?”
“Of course. It was so sudden. Who would have thought that Sunless would ask Dawn and Dusk to spar with her.”
“It was just a spar, but it was very entertaining. Sunless is so good with a bow and arrow. Dawn and Dusk found it very difficult to even approach her.”
“I know right. I want Sunless all to myself. I wonder how talented and beautiful our children would be if she got pregnant for me.”
“Pfft. Better get your head out of the gutter. You’re out of her league… But I wonder what she actually looks like. Maybe she’s ugly?”
“You must be dumb. It’s obvious-huh? What’s going on?”
One of the Initiates had a baffled gaze as he looked at the scene in front of him.
The other Initiate also had a baffled expression behind his mask.
“What in the world is going on?”
Some meters outside the academy gate, they could see over a dozen of their classmates standing on the causeway while throwing their hands in the air.
They could hear sounds from where they were, but they were too far to hear it properly.
They looked at each other, nodded, and ran to their classmates.
Some seconds later, they got closer to their classmates, and they could hear how their classmates were cursing and shouting at a much larger group that stood in their path.
“What the hell?! Get out of our way!”
“Exactly! Fuck off!”
“I want to sleep for fuck’s sake!”
“Who do you guys think you are?!”
“Why can our seniors pass but we can’t?!”
“I have blue balls! I need to leave!”
“Fuck off bastards!”
Many screams, curses, and shouts spread from the First Years, but Tibat, Belafar, and Agramormos had indifferent gazes as they stood in front of their gangs on the causeway.
They all stared at the First Years like they were monkeys screaming in a zoo.
Belafar could not help but chuckle in disdain.
“And these are the tit sucking babies you told me to be wary of? See these monkeys and baboons screaming and shouting. Are they even assassins?”
Agramormos agreed by shaking his head in disappointment.
“Although the true elites of their class aren’t here yet, this has gone on long enough. Let’s begin.”
Agramormos stepped forward, his huge stature causing a few of the first Years to take a step back out of caution.
Agramormos skimmed through the First Years, then a dark brown glow covered his hand, causing the eyes of some Initiates to widen in disbelief and fear.
“Shit! He’s about to use demonic energy!”
“Protect yourselves!”
However, unlike what the First Years believed, Agramormos only spread his arms apart, then he CLAPPED!!!
BOOM!
A powerful shockwave exploded from the clap, causing some of the First Years to stumble backward in fear and also due to them not being able to handle the shockwave.
The noise reduced, and it was nearly very quiet.
“Better.”
Agramormos nodded with satisfaction, then he inhaled and exhaled deeply before speaking loudly.
“All First Years, make a straight line and approach us one by one. You’ll need to pay a fee to pass.”
“Pay the fee, and we’ll grant you safe passage.”
The First Years immediately exploded in anger and frustration.
“What bullshit safe passage?! The passage was already safe before you arrived!”
“What the fuck?! Why are our seniors bullying us so much?! Fuck off bitches!”
“First it was the useless Iron Fangs who work for a slave! Now it’s you guys?! We refuse!”
“Fuck yeah! We refuse! We’re not weaklings who you bastards can bully so easily!”
“First you took my woman! Then you took my dignity! Now you want to take all my money?! Fight!!!!”
“Fight! Fight! Fight!”
“FIGHT!!!!!!”
The First Years ran forward with their hearts filled with rage, and Agramormos’ eyes flashed with a cold light.
He raised his right fist, coated it with demonic energy, then he punched.
Boom!
A powerful gust of wind combined with a powerful shockwave blasted toward the initiates.
Those who had fast reactions quickly dodged the side, causing some of their classmates to nearly fall off the causeway.
However, those who were too slow were hit by the shockwave released from Agramormos’ punch, sending them flying meters away and into their classmates at the back who had no idea what was going on.
“Don’t stop! Fight! Fight! Fight!”
One of the First Years wearing a purple dotted mask shouted as he stood while holding his injured right arm.
The others were invigorated by his fighting spirit, and they roared and ran toward their seniors.
Agramormos’ right eye twitched in anger. He was about to run forward but Tibat held his shoulder and stopped him.
He looked at her with a frown, but she said nothing and just walked in front of him.
The sound of her heartbeat resounded around her, and his expression changed.
“You want to use your chaos?” He asked with a surprised and baffled tone.
She didn’t answer because the First Years were close to her.
She raised her right hand, and in the next moment, one of the First Years was swinging his sword at her neck.
He was one of the fastest and was at the front when all this began, but before his sword could touch her neck, a black vine held his wrist and sword, then black roots curled around his neck and dragged him on the ground like a piece of garbage.
“Argghhh!”
He screamed, but Tibat’s eyes were cold.
She slightly raised her hand the more, and more black roots and vines shot out of the ground, curling around the ankles, wrists, bodies, and necks of the First Years.
Not every First Year was bound, but those who were not had to stop moving because of the sudden appearance of the black roots and vines from the ground.
None of them expected Tibat to use her chaos.
