Chapter 266: Blame Yourself For Being Weak
Chapter 266: 266: Blame Yourself For Being Weak
Time went on, and the events that happened a few hours ago spread across the academy, and even in some corners and taverns of the clan.
The First Years spoke amongst themselves of everything that happened.
Some talked about how they tried to put up a fight against the Iron Fangs.
Some talked about how they were badly beaten by the Iron Fangs.
Some talked about how the Iron Fangs ruthlessly beat up some of their classmates.
One even lamented about how a member of the Iron Fangs barged into his room when he was having sex.
The Initiate even shed tears because the member of the Iron Fangs offered to let the girl go as long as she slept with him while he was there.
She would not be beaten and she would not be extorted. The member of the Iron Fangs used his money instead of hers to give Akaza.
And obviously, the girl agreed.
The boy had no choice but to watch the girl he was interested in moan and scream as she was pounded by his senior.
It was a memory that would haunt him for a very long time.
The First Years spoke about many things in the dead of the night, but the main topic nearly all of them spoke about was Simon and the bet.
Everybody had different things, and some would be surprised to know that Simon actually had admirers amongst his classmates.
Not everybody hated him.
Some were beginning to see him in a new light.
His arrogance, coldness, and nonchalant attitude made him to have a sort of aura that attracted a few of his female classmates.
Some even began to imagine what Simon looked like under his mask.
These few girls, wanted to be with him.
And it was not only the girls of his class that were attracted to him. The boys were also attracted to him, but not in a romantic manner.
A few began to wonder if they could somehow join the Iron Fangs or be an underling of Simon.
The weak worshiped the strong, and Simon was strong.
Words, laughter, curses, and noise echoed in the dormitories of the Shadowgrave Academy, and unknown to some, day was about to break, but they kept on chatting in the middle of the night.
And as usual, time waited for no man… or demon in this instance.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The loud sounds that were like the sounds of a drum and sounds of explosions shook the entire dormitory, causing every sleeping Initiate to wake up and the Initiates who were awake to stand up in shock and disbelief.
They had gossiped throughout the night, not knowing that time had gone.
As for Simon, he opened his eyes and exhaled deeply as he stopped his cultivation session.
He got up from his cross-legged position, then he picked up his mask which was on the floor beside him, then he wore it.
“Let’s see what the day has in store for me.”
He tilted his head slightly to the left and right, causing cracking sounds to echo in his room.
He then walked to his door, but just as he was about to open it, he stopped.
He raised a brow, then he chuckled softly with a slight shake of his head.
’How cute.’
He opened the door, and the moment he did, a figure suddenly appeared in his vision and attempted to stab his heart with a dagger.
Simon held the wrist of the Initiate, then he bent it, causing it to break.
The sound of bones snapping echoed for a fraction of a second in his room.
“Argh!”
The demon screamed, but Simon indifferently flung him to his wall without even bothering to take a look at him.
The moment he did this, two more demons rushed into his room and held both his arms.
They pushed him inside, or at least, they thought they did.
Simon allowed them to push him inside, and the two demons pushed him and pinned him to the wall.
In the next moment, five demons entered his room with menacing glares and an unrestrained killing intent.
Simon raised a brow at this.
“Just five?”
His classmates frowned at the calmness and indifference in his words, but one of them scoffed.
“You said we’ll need protection. We’re going to show you that you’re the one that needs protection, slave.”
Simon immediately laughed.
“My goodness.” He shook his head with a smile behind his mask. “How cute.”
Before any of his classmates could respond, his right leg moved at a fast speed, then his left leg followed.
In the next moment…
Crack!
Crack!
The sound of eggs breaking echoed in his room, and everybody’s expression drastically changed.
The demon’s held their balls with a scream. They instantly let go of Simon and fell to the ground.
Simon scoffed when he saw this. “Learn to close your legs. Are you guys women?”
He then looked at the others, tilted his head to the left, then to the right, then he said coldly.
“Hope you guys have your merits ready? Because I’m taking everything for trying to kill me and for wasting my precious time.”
Everybody instantly felt a chill, and one decided to listen to his instincts.
He turned and ran to the door, but how could Simon allow such a thing to happen.
He instantly dashed forward, grabbed the unlucky boy by his clothes, then threw him to the wall.
Bang!
She was close to the door, but how could his speed match his?
What happened next was a one-sided beating.
They believed that they could overpower Simon with numbers, but how could mere ants kill an elephant?
A few minutes later, Simon was done with them, and he requested for all their merits unless they wanted a more severe beating and torture from him.
All complied except one.
“You’ve already taken half of our stipend! Why are you so cruel and heartless to take everything we have! We’ll be left with nothing!”
Simon released an annoyed sigh. “How many times do I have to say it? You tried to kill me, so I’m taking all your merits. Be grateful I’m not taking your life.”
The Initiate was not having it. He remained defiant.
“We tried to kill you because of how wicked and cruel you are!”
Simon instantly scoffed. “Then blame yourself for being weak. A weakling is already pathetic enough, but a weakling who fails and cries is even worse.”
Crack
“Arghh!”
“Now send me all your merits, or I make your life more miserable.”
The Initiate refused, but eventually, he had no choice but to send all his merits.
His pain tolerance was very low.
