"Alright, stop sucking up, get lost!"

Seeing that the cleanup was almost done, Lucas looked satisfied, dusted off his hands, and stepped out of the Dark Dimension in a single stride.

He returned directly to the Hong Kong Sanctuary.

In the dark space, Dormammu waved his hand as tears streamed down the bridge of his nose.

"He’s finally gone!"

"He’s too brutal! Even if beaten to death, I will never go to Earth again!"

At this moment, the streets of Hong Kong were scarred and devastated.

The folded space was slowly calming down, but a violent dark aura still lingered in the air.

Inhaling it for a long time could turn humans into nightmare beasts that only obeyed the dark’s commands.

Lucas waved his hand, purifying the air significantly.

Strange’s little companions were currently having an internal conflict.

Mordo’s expression was extremely ugly as he tightly gripped the magical artifact in his hand.

His once-firm faith had completely fallen into confusion ever since he learned that Ancient One had stolen power from the dark.

Coupled with the fact that Strange was using the Time Stone to restore the Hong Kong Sanctuary piece by piece.

Mordo was exhausted.

"Abusing time... violating the laws of nature... We will eventually pay the price!"

Mordo only said that sentence before resolutely turning around and leaving, quickly disappearing around the street corner.

Wong let out a long sigh and exchanged glances with Strange, their eyes filled with exhaustion.

Strange once again urged the Time Stone, completely rewinding and restoring the ruins of the Hong Kong Sanctuary.

The streets became clean again, and the collapsed buildings rose up from the ground, but facing the departing Mordo, the Time Stone was powerless.

Lucas couldn’t be bothered to deal with the sanctuary’s messy business at all.

"Remember your promise, future Sorcerer Supreme."

"Whenever I need you in the future, I will come looking for you at any time. Don’t you dare think about playing hide-and-seek!"

Strange shuddered.

How would he dare break his promise?

With that kind of power Lucas possessed, if he hadn’t had enough fun after beating up Dormammu, he could casually scatter his ashes.

"The Sorcerer Supreme is always at your service! The sanctuary is on standby at all times!"

Strange’s heart was pounding with anxiety.

Someone of Lucas’s level was almost more terrifying than a god. What kind of price would he make him pay in the future?

And what did he have that was worth Lucas valuing?

Lucas couldn’t be bothered to explain any of this.

After leaving Kamar-Taj, Lucas brought Wanda to tear through the void and arrived at a remote town in Illinois.

This place was far away from the metropolis of New York.

Trees were shaded, the scenery was pleasant, and it was as plain as a rural oil painting.

Using a digital black card out of thin air, Lucas bought a Villa with an independent garden in the town, and officially started a secluded life with Wanda.

He was plotting his next step.

How to stimulate Wanda’s emotions? The best way was a mundane daily life.

Let it pass for a period of time, and when Wanda got a taste of it, he would do something big to give Wanda a huge stimulation.

But it couldn’t be too over the top.

In case she went completely crazy, it would be utterly screwed.

Lucas definitely didn’t want to turn his head in the middle of the night and find the Scarlet Witch staring at him, murmuring with a gloomy expression.

That was too terrifying!

During his seclusion, Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. actually accurately found his residence and came to visit carrying a briefcase.

The timing was wrong again.

At this time, Agent Coulson should have faked his death to escape and gone to lead another group of Meta-humans.

How did he still have the time to come look for him?

"Mr. Lucas, we hope to invite you to oversee S.H.I.E.L.D., even if it’s just in name as a special advisor. You can name your own salary and privileges."

Agent Coulson was a good guy.

But before he could finish speaking, Wanda blasted him along with his briefcase thousands of kilometers away with a bolt of scarlet magic, dropping him directly into the Sahara Desert.

Wanda had shown mercy.

She even cast a floating spell on Coulson so he wouldn’t fall too miserably.

"If they dare come again next time, I’ll throw them into the Pacific Ocean!"

A flash of scarlet crossed Wanda’s eyes.

Lucas rubbed his nose.

Just from that moment earlier, Wanda’s Chaos Magic seemed to have grown even stronger.

Oh crap!

Don’t wait until Thanos comes to Earth, and Wanda charges over alone, literally turning the purple sweet potato into a purple sweet potato and planting it in the front garden as a potted plant.

Lucas’s eyes suddenly lit up.

"That’s right!"

Turning Thanos into an action figure seemed like a pretty good collection concept!

He’ll do it later!

In the following days, without the disturbance of outsiders, life became warm and full of worldly flavor.

Wanda willingly acted as a housewife, wearing a cute apron every day and bustling about in the kitchen doing goodness knows what.

It completely turned right and wrong upside down.

A Witch not studying magic, but specifically starting to study recipes?

It was simply scandalous!

She even specifically learned a few home-cooked dishes from the East online.

The difficulty wasn’t high—just scrambled eggs with tomatoes, shredded potatoes, and braised pork belly.

However, the ones she made in the early stages were all sweet.

It gave Lucas a taste of what white people’s food was like.

Those eggs falling into her hands were worse than being shoved back into the hen’s ass and never being born in this lifetime.

"Delicious!"

Lucas had been speaking against his conscience all along.

Seeing Lucas’s expression, Wanda frowned and continued to improve the taste, not knowing how many times she tried before slowly shifting away from the sweetness.

At least she stopped putting a lethal dose of sugar and cheese into the scrambled eggs with tomatoes.

Sometimes she misread the recipe, mistaking one Cusine for another cuisine.

Lucas kept thinking she was poisoning him, and even suspected whether the Chaos Magic had hijacked the Witch’s body.

Strawberries in Mapo Tofu?

Steamed buns were fine; at least those were authentic soft little bread rolls.

Once made, they could also be dipped in anything to eat.

What did she mean by stuffing stir-fried noodles inside?

Was that fucking a steamed bun?

Even if it was a steamed stuffed bun, whose family has a stir-fried noodle filling?!

Later, Wanda switched to making soup. This time the taste was right, but the side ingredients were wrong.

Putting fucking soup dumplings in the soup!!

"No wonder witches were burned in the Middle Ages!"

Having eaten all the test dishes, Lucas felt for the first time that his life was coming to an end.

Wanda stuck out her tongue; it seemed she still couldn’t unleash her own creativity.

She completely tossed the menu into the trash can.

Lucas really couldn’t stay at home anymore. Even though he wasn’t afraid of poison, he couldn’t stand the Witch constantly feeding him, so he also experienced the life of an ordinary person for a change.

He tried to see if he could survive in the MCU without opening creative mode, relying solely on survival mode.

Thus, he found an administrative job at a local small logistics company in the town.

Having been invincible in various Worlds for too long, he hadn’t done this kind of mundane clock-in job for hundreds of years.

Experiencing it occasionally was actually quite good for cultivating one’s character.

During his time working there, Lucas also made a few close colleagues.

For instance, there was a guy named Scott Lang.

Although Lucas was quite puzzled as to why Ant-Man appeared in this town, this buddy and his several comical bad friends often warmly invited Lucas to drink and party at the town’s bar.

In the bar, with a few glasses of dark beer down his throat, Scott pulled Lucas along to impart some experience.

He insisted on asking how he managed to win over Wanda.

Such a pageant-grade white beauty and delicate wife was willing to stay at home every day cooking, doing laundry, and trying to make all kinds of dishes—she was simply an Angel.

"Lucas, brother, tell me the truth!"

Scott breathed out alcohol with a face full of envy, jealousy, and hatred, "What kind of soul-stirring soup did you actually use?"

"A stunning beauty of modeling-level like Wanda, if placed in Manhattan, would be pampered by top tycoons. How come when she gets to you, she wears an apron every day to stew soup for you?"

"Tell me the secret, and I’ll be your beast of burden for the rest of my life!"

Lucas smiled, "Kid, you first need to have an iron stomach!"
