Ryan was still processing what had happened when something unexpected occurred.

The Boundless Creation Furnace floating before him suddenly erupted with brilliant green and golden light.

Under the intense glow, the cracks and fractures covering its surface began repairing themselves at a visible rate.

The damaged metal slowly fused together.

Piece by piece, the furnace restored itself.

Not long afterward, the green and golden light gradually faded.

Every crack and fracture had disappeared.

The Boundless Creation Furnace had been completely restored.

Its body was now a smooth bronze color, polished and flawless, with a metallic sheen that reflected the surrounding light.

<Ding!>

[Congratulations, Host!]

[The Boundless Creation Furnace has ranked up!]

[Current Rank: Second-Tier Bronze Boundless Creation Furnace.]

[New Abilities Unlocked:]

[Disintegration Creation]

[Second Boundless Creation Slot]

[Disintegration Creation: Decomposes various energy-containing waste products and converts them into more useful items, such as key materials. Impurities are removed while the essence is retained.]

[Each time the Boundless Creation Furnace is used, a portion of its energy is consumed to maintain its core functions.]

[Frequent use of Creation functions can accelerate the restoration and advancement of the Boundless Creation Furnace.]

[Second Boundless Creation Slot: Unlocks an additional Creation Slot. After being used, the Slot can grant one additional Bloodline ability.]

"What?!"

Ryan stared at the newly restored furnace.

"The Boundless Creation Furnace actually upgraded!"

His surprise quickly turned into excitement.

"I gained another Boundless Creation Slot, and it unlocked an entirely new function—Disintegration Creation!"

He had never expected the Boundless Creation Furnace to suddenly rank up.

The rewards were far better than he had imagined.

Especially the additional Boundless Creation Slot.

Ryan had already experienced the benefits of sealing the Overlord Body Bloodline.

That single ability had dramatically increased his combat power.

If he could find another powerful Bloodline Essence, his strength could rise by another massive margin.

After reaching the Bronze Tier, even the damage that had originally covered the furnace had been completely repaired.

The furnace now looked polished and pristine, its bronze surface gleaming like a mirror.

It seemed that its next stage would involve gradually restoring and strengthening the power it had once possessed.

Ryan’s eyes flickered.

"Since its rank has increased, I’ll try that item that was previously too low-grade for Creation."

He reached into his spatial ring.

"Let’s see if it can be processed now."

With that thought, Ryan pulled out Captain Marlow’s corpse and tossed it directly into the Bronze Boundless Creation Furnace.

"Mira, activate Disintegration Creation."

As soon as his voice fell, gray mist surged inside the furnace.

The mist completely swallowed Marlow’s corpse.

<Ding!>

[Disintegration Target: One human corpse from the Origin Sea Convergence Realm.]

[Disintegration Creation: Simplifying the complex. Random generation in progress...]

[Output Probability:]

[Bloodline Essence — 33%]

[Skill Stone — 33%]

[Previously Consumed Pills — 33%]

[Mutated Unknown Type — 1%]

"Bloodline Essence? Skill Stone? Pills?"

Ryan’s eyes widened.

"All of those are useful!"

He hadn’t expected that a corpse that would otherwise be nearly worthless could be transformed into valuable resources.

Fortunately, he had decided to experiment instead of throwing Marlow’s corpse away.

Otherwise, he would have suffered a considerable loss.

Normally, the most Ryan could extract from a corpse was a single thread of original Bloodline Essence remaining within the Origin Energy Sea.

And considering how quickly the City Watch had been approaching at the time, he had nearly abandoned the corpse altogether.

He had even considered whether it was worth risking everything for a D-Rank Top Tier Bloodline Essence thread.

Fortunately, he hadn’t.

Now, Ryan had learned an important lesson.

From now on, I need to collect more energy-rich waste products.

Especially the corpses of powerful lifeforms.

Disintegration Creation was every bit as valuable as Advanced Creation.

Perhaps even more useful in certain situations.

The Boundless Creation Furnace finally responded.

<Ding!>

[Congratulations, Host!]

[You have obtained:]

[Bloodline Essence: D-Rank Top Tier Iron Cloth ×1]

[Skill Stone: Superior Origin Realm Grade, Explosive Cyclone Kick ×1]

[Iron Cloth: Enhancement-Type, D-Rank Top Tier Bloodline. When Origin Energy is circulated, the user’s body is covered by a layer of iron-like protection reinforced by defensive Origin Energy, greatly increasing physical durability. Refining and absorbing this Bloodline Essence can strengthen the defensive evolution path of Enhancement-Type Bloodlines.]

[Explosive Cyclone Kick: Superior Origin Realm Grade Bloodline Combat Skill. Suitable for certain Enhancement-Type and Lifeform-Type Bloodlines. After mastering the technique, the user can leap into the air, complete two rapid rotations, and unleash a full-powered kick.]

[By combining leg strength, rotational force, and body weight, the technique can temporarily amplify the user’s leg strength by three times, allowing the kick to strike with the force of a falling hammer.]

POOF!

Two objects were immediately ejected from the furnace.

The Bloodline Essence and Skill Stone shot through the air.

"Perfect."

Ryan’s face lit up.

"Both are useful."

He quickly retrieved a small porcelain bottle from his spatial ring.

With practiced movements, he stored the Iron Cloth Bloodline Essence inside before catching the Skill Stone.

He couldn’t help feeling slightly surprised.

He had expected Marlow’s Iron Sand Fist to be extracted.

Instead, the furnace had produced a leg-based combat technique.

And judging from its grade, it was actually two levels higher than Iron Sand Fist.

So Marlow had another technique he never got the chance to use.

He had probably intended to test Ryan with Iron Sand Fist before escalating to a stronger technique.

Unfortunately, he never got the chance.

Now that technique belonged to Ryan.

A threefold increase in leg strength, combined with Ryan’s own physical strength, meant that the attack could unleash roughly four times his normal leg power.

That was already an extremely frightening level of explosive force.

Ryan’s eyes gleamed.

There was another aspect of the reward that impressed him even more.

Normally, after a Bloodline Fighter died, their Bloodline Essence and Mental Awareness would rapidly dissipate into the environment.

At most, a tiny thread of their original Bloodline Essence would remain.

Yet Disintegration Creation had extracted a complete drop of Iron Cloth Bloodline Essence from Marlow’s corpse.

That alone demonstrated just how extraordinary this new ability was.

Ryan suddenly had an idea.

He tossed the Iron Cloth Bloodline Essence back into the furnace.

The response came immediately.

[Host, this item has already reached the Creation Source of Heaven and cannot be Created again.]

Ryan blinked.

Then he finally understood.

Whether it was Advanced Creation or Disintegration Creation, the resulting items could not be processed through Creation again.

"Interesting."

Ryan nodded thoughtfully.

He had originally intended to use his new Boundless Creation Slot on the Iron Cloth Bloodline Essence.

But after thinking about it carefully, he decided against it.

The Boundless Creation Slots were incredibly rare.

He had no idea when another one would become available.

There was no way he could waste one casually.

At the very least, he needed to find a Bloodline Essence comparable to—or preferably stronger than—his C-Rank Top Tier Overlord Body Bloodline.

Only then would using the Slot be truly worthwhile.

There was another problem.

Ryan already possessed the Lifeform-Type Spider Bloodline and the Enhancement-Type Overlord Body Bloodline.

Iron Cloth was another Enhancement-Type Bloodline.

Its abilities would overlap considerably with what he already had.

If possible, Ryan wanted his future Bloodline abilities to cover different combat roles rather than stacking similar powers.

That would give him greater versatility.

With that thought, he quickly abandoned the idea of using the second Creation Slot.

I’ll wait.

When I find a Bloodline Essence worth sealing, I’ll use it then.

Ryan smiled.

"Finally... my first Skill Stone."

He carefully stored the Iron Cloth Bloodline Essence inside his spatial ring.

Then he looked at the Skill Stone in his hand.

A trace of Origin Energy flowed into it.

HISS!

A flash of white light erupted.

In an instant, the complete projection and knowledge of Explosive Cyclone Kick flooded into Ryan’s mind.

Every movement.

Every principle.

Every detail of how to generate and combine force.

It was as though the technique had been carved directly into his consciousness.

Ryan’s eyes brightened.

"So this is a Skill Stone."

He immediately activated his Overlord Body Bloodline.

BOOM!

Yellow Bloodline Origin Energy surged through his body.

Ryan leaped into the air.

His body spun once.

Then twice.

He twisted his waist and unleashed a powerful kick toward the training room wall.

"Superior Origin Realm Grade Combat Skill—Explosive Cyclone Kick!"

BANG!

His right leg, wrapped in brilliant yellow Bloodline Origin Energy, slammed into the wall like a falling hammer.

BOOM!

A terrifying fourfold burst of leg power erupted.

The entire training room trembled violently.

The commotion was so loud that Ryan’s family members downstairs were startled.

Several cups on the table shook violently, spilling some of their contents.

However, after exchanging a few glances, they quickly came to the same conclusion.

Ryan was probably testing another powerful technique.

As long as he wasn’t injured, they saw no reason to interrupt him.

Meanwhile, a massive crater had appeared in the training room wall.

It was roughly three meters across, with dense, spiderweb-like cracks spreading outward from the point of impact.

The sight was astonishing.

After a while, the damaged wall slowly began repairing itself.

The meteorite gold embedded within it interacted with the battle array, gradually restoring the structure.

Ryan stared at the damage with a satisfied smile.

"Explosive Cyclone Kick and Overlord Body really are a perfect combination."

His eyes shone with excitement.

"This Skill Stone is incredible. It let me master a powerful combat technique instantly."

Although Ryan already knew that Skill Stones were extraordinary, this was his first time actually using one.

The experience still left him amazed.

A powerful combat technique that would normally require months or even years of practice had been completely mastered in an instant.

It was an incredible shortcut to increasing his combat power.

And when combined with the explosive strength of Overlord Body, the technique felt completely natural.

There was no awkwardness between the two abilities.

It was as though Ryan had practiced the technique for years.

The Skill Stone had simply eliminated the entire learning process.

This really is an incredible treasure.

Ryan’s combat power had increased yet again.

And the stronger he became, the better his chances of surviving whatever dangers awaited him.

His gaze soon shifted.

"Haha..."

A grin spread across his face.

"Now it’s finally time to find out what’s hiding inside this black beast hide."

Ryan suppressed his excitement and retrieved the black beast hide from his spatial ring.

Then he tossed it directly into the Boundless Creation Furnace.

SWISH!

Gray mist swirled inside the furnace.

The black beast hide was immediately swallowed.

The system notification followed almost instantly.

<Ding!>

[Disintegration Target: Unknown Black Beast Hide.]

[Disintegration Creation: Simplifying the complex. Random generation in progress...]

[Output Probability:]

[Bloodline Essence Thread — 33%]

[Skill Tome — 33%]

[Previously Consumed Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures — 33%]

[Mutated Unknown Type — 1%]

"It worked!"

Ryan’s eyes immediately lit up.

He could finally uncover part of the mystery surrounding the black beast hide.

But after hearing the output probabilities, his expression became slightly strange.

"So body parts really are less valuable than complete corpses."

Compared to the rewards obtained from Marlow’s complete corpse, the potential rewards from the black beast hide were clearly more limited.

"If it produces a Bloodline Essence thread, I’d need ten identical threads just to synthesize a complete Bloodline Essence."

Ryan frowned.

That would be extremely troublesome.

Collecting ten identical Bloodline Essence threads was both time-consuming and heavily dependent on luck.

For an ordinary Bloodline, it wouldn’t be too difficult.

He could simply hunt enough similar exotic beasts and gradually collect the required Essence.

But this black beast hide was clearly different.

Ryan didn’t know how many months—or even years—it might take to gather ten matching pieces.

And there was no guarantee that the process would even succeed.

He had originally considered using the Boundless Creation Slot to seal an S-Rank or higher Bloodline.

Unfortunately, an item of that caliber was far beyond what he could currently access in Ashfall City.

Even C-Rank Top Tier Bloodlines were already considered elite inheritances among the city’s major powers.

As for S-Rank Bloodline Essence?

Finding one here would be nearly impossible.

And even if one somehow appeared, its price would almost certainly be astronomical.

Ryan simply couldn’t afford it.

Forget about reaching the top in one step.

I’ll build my foundation first.

Once he had enough strength and resources, he could eventually seek out higher-grade Bloodline Essences.

As for the Skill Tome, it wasn’t nearly as convenient as a Skill Stone.

He would have to study and comprehend the technique himself.

The Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures were similarly troublesome.

He would either need to learn how to refine them himself, pay someone else to process them, or simply sell them.

Compared to the rewards obtained from a complete corpse, the possible results from the black beast hide seemed considerably less impressive.

Still, there was something that caught Ryan’s attention.

The Creation process was taking unusually long.

Much longer than any previous attempt.

Five minutes passed.

Then ten.

Twenty.

Thirty.

Ryan waited.

Half an hour passed.

Still nothing.

Ryan’s expression gradually became serious.

Why is this taking so long?

He continued staring at the bronze furnace.

The light inside flickered continuously.

Finally—

After a full half-hour of waiting—

DING!

A clear notification echoed through the training room.
