The Boundless Creation Furnace: I Can Turn Waste into Treasures!

Chapter 107: Crimson Thunder, Unrivaled Might!

Ryan had also learned about the Beast Hunting Ground in West City through some illustrated materials.

In terms of the variety of exotic beasts, their strength, and the grades of their Bloodlines, the Beast Hunting Ground was superior to the Ashfall Forest outside East City in almost every respect.

The Ashfall Forest contained far more Tier 1 exotic beasts than Tier 2 ones, making it an ideal training ground for newly awakened Bloodline Fighters. Tier 3 exotic beasts were extremely rare, while Tier 4 ones appeared only in occasional reports.

The Bloodline grades of the beasts inhabiting the forest were similarly unimpressive. The vast majority possessed Bloodlines of C-Grade Ordinary or lower. A Top-Grade Black Flame Leopard was undoubtedly an exception.

The Beast Hunting Ground in West City, however, was an entirely different story.

Tier 2 exotic beasts outnumbered Tier 1 ones, making the area more suitable for Bloodline Fighters who had reached the Origin Spirit Realm. With a little taming, the beasts they captured could even be controlled and raised as pet beasts.

Tier 3 exotic beasts could also be found there, while Tier 4 ones occasionally made an appearance.

Most importantly, the upper limit of the Bloodline grades possessed by the exotic beasts in the Beast Hunting Ground was considerably higher than that of the Ashfall Forest.

Although high-grade Bloodlines remained rare, the chances of encountering an exotic beast with a C-Grade Ordinary Bloodline or higher were significantly greater.

“Haha, it’s a little unfortunate that I’m still just short of the Origin Spirit Realm. But I have to admit, this Boundless Creation Slot is truly incredible!”

Ryan grinned, unable to hide his excitement.

“If only the Boundless Creation Furnace could advance faster! If I could obtain a few more Creation Slots, I’d be able to seal and control several more powerful Bloodlines. My overall strength would improve by leaps and bounds. Just thinking about it makes me happy!”

As far as Ryan was concerned, the Boundless Creation Furnace was practically perfect. Its only real drawback was how slowly it advanced.

When it had evolved from Black Iron Grade to Bronze Grade, the process hadn’t taken particularly long. However, ever since reaching Bronze Grade, Ryan had used the furnace countless times without seeing the slightest sign of another advancement.

He had no idea when it would reach the next grade.

Of course, his current strength also limited the resources he could obtain. Moreover, even his second Boundless Creation Slot couldn’t seal Bloodline Essence above S-Grade.

Nevertheless, Ryan was already thoroughly satisfied with his current gains.

Being able to seal and control both the Overlord Body Bloodline and the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline was more than enough to make him happy.

After all, these two Bloodlines were the most suitable choices available to him at present. Given his current strength, he also had a reasonable chance of successfully sealing and controlling them.

There was no point in blindly pursuing higher grades. Sometimes, compatibility and suitability mattered far more.

With his current cultivation, even sealing and controlling the C-Grade Top-Tier Overlord Body and Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodlines had forced him through several life-threatening situations.

If he obtained an S-Grade Bloodline Essence right now, his body might not be able to withstand it at all.

Once his strength improved, he would naturally gain access to stronger resources and encounter more powerful Bloodline Essences. When that time came, he could seek out Bloodlines that were not only stronger but also better suited to his needs.

For now, the wisest approach was to advance one step at a time.

“Haha! Now that I’ve obtained such a powerful Transformation-Type Thunder Attribute Bloodline, I’d better test its strength!”

With that thought, Ryan calmed himself and vigorously activated the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline.

In an instant, a massive amount of yellow Origin Energy surged out of his Origin Energy Sea, flowing rapidly through the meridians that ran throughout his body.

ZZZZT!

In the blink of an eye, the Origin Energy transformed into brilliant crimson lightning that enveloped Ryan from head to toe. Bolts of electricity danced wildly across his body, filling the training room with sharp, crackling sounds.

At that moment, Ryan appeared to be standing in the middle of a sea of crimson lightning, his black hair rising and fluttering as though caught in a violent storm.

He resembled a Thunder Battle God descending upon the mortal world.

Waves of crimson light and powerful Thunder Attribute energy continuously erupted from his body, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle.

Suddenly, Ryan’s figure swayed.

A violent surge of power exploded beneath his feet, and his entire body shot forward like thunder tearing across the sky.

WHOOSH!

In the next instant, he appeared at the opposite corner of the training room, moving so quickly that the naked eye could barely follow him. Without hesitation, he unleashed a full-powered punch against the wall.

Even after his body had reached its destination, a black afterimage remained where he had previously stood, lingering for a brief moment before slowly dissipating.

Ryan couldn’t help but marvel at his speed.

It was truly as fast as lightning!

Compared with his previous speed while wearing the now-damaged godly travel boots, he felt that he was several times faster.

The next moment, his fist, wrapped in brilliant crimson lightning, slammed into the wall.

BANG!

A terrifying explosion reverberated throughout the training room as crimson lightning burst outward in every direction.

The entire room shook violently several times.

Where Ryan’s punch landed, a fist-sized hole had been blasted straight through the wall.

WHOOSH!

Cool morning air immediately rushed through the opening from outside, carrying a refreshing chill into the training room.

ZZZZT!

Crimson lightning continued to crawl wildly around the edges of the hole. Thick black smoke billowed from the damaged section, rolling upward in dense clouds as the lightning crackled incessantly.

Ryan stared at the hole, momentarily stunned.

“This was just an ordinary punch without any amplification from a combat technique, yet it actually penetrated the meteorite gold training wall!”

His eyes gradually widened with excitement.

“The power of this Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline is truly terrifying!”

Feeling the cool breeze blowing through the hole, Ryan landed steadily on the ground and clenched his fist, his eyes shining brightly.

“More importantly, this Bloodline has dramatically increased my movement speed. I’m several times faster than I was when I wore the godly travel boots!”

He took a moment to assess the changes in his body before drawing a conclusion.

“The Primordial Annihilation Lightning is clearly an offense-and-speed-type Bloodline. Both its offensive power and speed are approaching the peak of C-Grade Top Tier. It’s absolutely astonishing!”

This Bloodline had compensated for one of his greatest weaknesses: movement speed.

At the same time, it had further strengthened his physical power, making his attacks even more destructive.

The more Ryan considered the results, the more satisfied he became.

He began comparing the Overlord Body Bloodline with the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline, examining their respective strengths and weaknesses.

The Overlord Body Bloodline was relatively balanced. It was a proper offense-and-defense-type Bloodline, providing top-tier increases to both physical strength and bodily toughness. Its only notable weakness was its comparatively average boost to movement speed.

The Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline, on the other hand, was a classic offense-and-speed-type Bloodline.

It provided top-tier enhancements to physical strength and movement speed, but its contribution to bodily toughness was considerably weaker.

However, the truly terrifying thing about the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline was that its offensive power actually surpassed that of the Overlord Body.

This wasn’t particularly strange.

Even when two Bloodlines shared the same grade and tier, their individual abilities didn’t necessarily have to be identical. Their overall enhancement might be comparable, but the distribution of that power could differ significantly.

To understand the difference more clearly, Ryan decided to assign numerical values to the physical enhancements provided by the two Bloodlines.

He considered three aspects: offensive power, defensive toughness, and movement speed.

If a C-Grade Top-Tier Bloodline provided a total of thirty points of physical enhancement, with ten points allocated to each aspect under a conventional, balanced distribution, the two Bloodlines would compare roughly as follows:

* Overlord Body: Offense 13, Defense 13, Speed 4.

* Primordial Annihilation Lightning: Offense 16, Defense 2, Speed 12.

Both provide 30 total enhancement points, but specialize in different attributes.

The Overlord Body concentrated its power on offense and defense, whereas the Primordial Annihilation Lightning sacrificed much of its defensive enhancement to achieve overwhelming offensive power and speed.

With sixteen points allocated to offense compared with the Overlord Body’s thirteen, the Primordial Annihilation Lightning could naturally deliver attacks powerful enough to overwhelm the latter’s defensive capabilities.

Although both Bloodlines were C-Grade Top Tier, each had its own specialization and advantages.

Unfortunately, Ryan soon discovered a significant limitation.

He first activated the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline, covering his right palm in crimson lightning. He then attempted to switch to the Overlord Body Bloodline, hoping to combine the two powers and create an even more formidable attack.

However, the moment he switched Bloodlines, the crimson lightning became uncontrollable and dissipated completely.

He tried again, this time activating the Overlord Body first before switching to the Primordial Annihilation Lightning.

The result was exactly the same.

He simply couldn’t maintain both Bloodlines simultaneously or layer their powers together.

The situation was similar when he experimented with his Spider Bloodline.

When he used Spider Web Flying Shuttle, the spider silk immediately left his hand and shot toward its target. Switching to the Primordial Annihilation Lightning afterward did nothing to the silk already in flight.

Since the lightning could no longer be transferred to the released web, he couldn’t combine the two abilities in this manner.

However, he discovered a slight exception when using ordinary, unreleased spider silk.

As long as the silk remained connected to his hand and had been generated through his Origin Energy, he could just barely transfer the power of the Primordial Annihilation Lightning into it.

This was somewhat similar to how the Overlord Body Bloodline allowed him to exert his enhanced physical strength through spider silk he was holding.

Nevertheless, this was merely a sequential combination, not true simultaneous activation.

It was also easy for an opponent to anticipate and counter.

By the time Ryan transferred the lightning’s power from one end of the spider silk to the other, his enemy might already have severed the opposite end and escaped.

After all, his Spider Bloodline was still relatively weak. Compared with a C-Grade Top-Tier Bloodline, both the strength and toughness of his spider silk were considerably inferior.

Despite these limitations, Ryan had made another important discovery.

Although he couldn’t actively use the Overlord Body and Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodlines simultaneously, their passive abilities complemented each other remarkably well.

The Overlord Body Bloodline significantly enhanced his bodily toughness, while the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline substantially improved his physical strength and movement speed.

Together, these passive enhancements made up for each other’s weaknesses, giving Ryan a much more balanced physical foundation.

Unfortunately, he was still only a basic Multi-Bloodline User.

Although his overall strength was already far greater than that of an ordinary single-Bloodline Fighter, he hadn’t yet mastered the defining advantage of a true multi-Bloodline combat expert: the ability to activate and coordinate multiple Bloodlines simultaneously.

Without that ability, he couldn’t unleash the full potential of his Bloodlines.

He couldn’t achieve the terrifying synergy of one plus one equaling two and a half, or even three.

For example, when relying on the Overlord Body Bloodline, he couldn’t simultaneously draw upon the Primordial Annihilation Lightning’s unique properties, including its Annihilation characteristic and its ability to induce spasms and numbness.

He would retain the Overlord Body’s passive physical enhancements, but lose the lightning’s additional offensive properties and speed advantages.

Consequently, despite possessing two powerful Bloodlines, Ryan was currently achieving an overall effect closer to one plus one equaling one and a half.

He was still a long way from realizing the true potential of a Multi-Bloodline Fighter.

Unfortunately, the welfare Bloodline Institute only taught basic knowledge to Bloodline Fighters. Advanced subjects of this kind were beyond its curriculum, and the relevant information available in other documents was extremely limited.

As a result, Ryan had little access to advanced combat knowledge, let alone the sophisticated techniques required to coordinate multiple Bloodlines effectively.

“Haha, whatever! With the Primordial Annihilation Lightning Bloodline, I certainly won’t be lacking offensive options anymore.”

Ryan grinned, quickly putting the matter aside.

“As for advanced multi-Bloodline combat techniques, I’ll find a way to learn them later.”

There was no need to rush. He had already gained two exceptionally powerful Bloodlines, and there would be plenty of opportunities to improve his combat skills in the future.

For now, his immediate priority was to advance his cultivation.

“I’ve already reached the Ninth Stage of the Origin Sea Convergence Realm. I might as well strike while the iron is hot and cultivate for a little longer. Let’s see if I can break through to the Origin Spirit Realm in one go!”

His eyes brightened at the thought.

“If I succeed, I’ll finally be qualified to enter the Beast Hunting Ground and capture a pet beast of my choice!”

With that goal in mind, Ryan quickly composed himself, retrieved a Tier 2 Top-Grade Yellow Dragon Pill from his spatial ring, and swallowed it in one gulp.
