"Alright, Host."

[Detecting...]

Ding!

[Host, an ownerless Bloodline Essence has been detected in your possession.]

[Please insert it into the available Boundless Creation Slot.]

"Alright."

Upon receiving the prompt, Ryan’s gaze sharpened. He circulated his Origin Energy through his fingers and carefully guided the drop of Primordial Annihilation Lightning Essence toward the Boundless Creation Slot.

Just as the essence approached the slot’s concave opening, Ryan flicked his finger forward.

WHOOSH!

The drop of Bloodline Essence shot into the Boundless Creation Slot, which shimmered with brilliant, multicolored light.

THUD!

The instant the essence settled into place, the entire bronze Boundless Creation Furnace erupted in a dazzling burst of multicolored radiance.

The light blazed like a miniature sun, stinging Ryan’s eyes and forcing him to squeeze them shut.

Ding!

[A C-Grade Top-Tier Bloodline Essence—Primordial Annihilation Lightning—has been detected within the Boundless Creation Slot!]

[Host, please prepare yourself!]

[Attempting to seal...]

"It worked! It’s finally beginning! The sealing and control of my second Bloodline Essence!"

As the blinding radiance emanating from the Boundless Creation Furnace gradually faded, Ryan cautiously opened his eyes. Hearing the system’s notification, he could barely contain his excitement.

However, he didn’t allow his joy to cloud his judgment.

His expression quickly turned solemn as he warily surveyed his surroundings, remaining alert for any sudden changes.

Having already experienced the process of sealing the Overlord Body Bloodline Essence, Ryan knew better than to underestimate what lay ahead.

He needed to remain fully focused, ready to respond to any unexpected danger at a moment’s notice.

BOOM!

A thunderous explosion suddenly erupted overhead.

Before Ryan could react, a brilliant red lightning bolt, as thick as an adult’s arm, tore through the air and plunged straight toward his head.

It descended like a crimson electric python, moving with terrifying speed.

In the blink of an eye, it was less than five feet above him!

"Hmph! Perfect timing!"

Ryan looked up at the incoming lightning, his scalp tingling instinctively. His expression darkened as he immediately raised both arms, palms facing upward, as though attempting to hold up the heavens.

At the same time, he furiously activated his Overlord Body Bloodline.

Thick yellow Origin Energy surged from his body, rapidly enveloping him in a dense protective layer that resembled an armor of flowing energy.

BANG!

The crimson lightning struck.

A terrifying explosion shook the surroundings as Ryan, despite being protected by the Overlord Body Origin Energy, was smashed violently into the ground.

Brilliant red lightning engulfed his body, sending waves of agony through his flesh. He coughed up mouthful after mouthful of fresh blood, his vitality plummeting as the metallic stench of blood filled the air.

SIZZLE! SIZZLE!

Countless arcs of crimson lightning crawled across his body, leaping wildly between his muscles and tearing through his defenses.

Ryan’s face turned ashen, and his entire body convulsed uncontrollably.

A single lightning bolt had severely injured someone possessing the formidable Overlord Body physique!

"Damn it... Is this power really that abnormal?! How can it break through the Overlord Body’s defenses so easily, even among cultivators of the same level?!"

Ryan’s expression grew increasingly grim.

He had seriously underestimated the terrifying might of Primordial Annihilation Lightning.

Lightning-type abilities were already renowned for their explosive power and destructive force among Transformation-Type abilities. Yet this particular Bloodline Essence seemed to exist on an entirely different level.

Even his Overlord Body had nearly failed to withstand a single strike!

However, after thinking it over, Ryan realized something was wrong.

Both Bloodline Essences were of the same grade. Under normal circumstances, his Overlord Body shouldn’t have been this vulnerable.

There was only one plausible explanation.

The annihilation attribute of Primordial Annihilation Lightning made it far more violent and destructive than ordinary lightning-type abilities!

Its power seemed to possess an overwhelming ability to destroy whatever stood in its path, as though conventional defenses meant nothing to it.

It gave Ryan the terrifying impression that nothing could withstand its might. Gods would be struck down before it, and demons would be annihilated in its path.

Even his exceptionally resilient Overlord Body, despite unleashing its full defensive capabilities, couldn’t completely withstand the devastation.

The phantom of his Overlord Body Battle Armor had barely manifested before the lightning shattered it, leaving only a fraction of the attack’s power dissipated.

What astonishing instantaneous destructive power!

As expected of something bearing the name Annihilation!

"Hoo..."

Ryan drew a shaky breath, enduring the violent spasms and numbing pain that coursed through his body.

Planting both hands against the ground, he struggled to push himself upright.

He had barely managed to raise his upper body when another sudden change occurred.

BOOM!

Three crimson lightning bolts, each as thick as an adult’s arm, materialized simultaneously in the sky above him.

They resembled three deadly spears forged from lightning, and all three plunged toward his head without the slightest hesitation.

"Damn it! One nearly killed me, and now there are three at once?!"

Ryan’s body was still numb and convulsing. His legs trembled uncontrollably, and he hadn’t even managed to stand fully upright when he sensed the three incoming bolts.

His face turned pale with fright.

In this desperate situation, he had no choice but to crouch down and clasp both hands over his head, doing everything possible to protect his vital areas.

At the same time, he furiously activated his Origin Energy Sea.

"Devouring World Art, activate!"

The moment the words left his mouth, a terrifying surge of energy erupted from his body and shot skyward.

Ryan’s eyes instantly turned blood-red.

The surrounding ground creaked and groaned as though an earthquake were tearing through the area. Wisps of strange black smoke began seeping from his body, rapidly multiplying until they swirled around him in thick, turbulent waves.

The black smoke intertwined violently with the reappearing phantom of his Overlord Body Battle Armor, enveloping it in a dense, dark haze.

In the blink of an eye, the black smoke and golden-yellow armor fused into a formidable defensive phantom.

At the same time, the power of the Devouring World Art surged to nine times its original strength!

BANG!

The three crimson lightning bolts struck almost simultaneously.

A devastating explosion followed, and Ryan was once again smashed into the ground by the overwhelming force.

Blood gushed from his mouth as he coughed violently, his injuries so severe that he nearly vomited bile along with the blood.

"Damn...!"

Ryan struggled to maintain consciousness.

To his horror, he discovered that Primordial Annihilation Lightning seemed to possess a suppressive effect against the strange World Devouring Power.

Even with the Devouring World Art amplifying his strength ninefold, the black smoke-enveloped Overlord Body Battle Armor couldn’t withstand all three lightning bolts.

The phantom shattered almost instantly.

Crimson lightning flooded Ryan’s body, violently tearing through his flesh as it surged through his muscles.

His strength rapidly drained away. His limbs became numb and unresponsive, and his entire body convulsed as though he were on the verge of losing consciousness completely.

If the Overlord Body Battle Armor phantom hadn’t continued to manifest intermittently, providing what little protection it could, he would already have been dead.

Yet the ordeal was far from over.

Before Ryan could even catch his breath, nine crimson lightning bolts, each as thick as an adult’s arm, suddenly materialized in the sky above him.

They appeared out of thin air, as though emerging directly from the void.

BOOM!

An earth-shattering roar shook the surroundings as all nine bolts descended with the unstoppable force of divine punishment.

Fortunately, the duration of the Devouring World Art had not yet expired.

Thick black smoke surged from Ryan’s body once more, spreading across his battered frame.

He desperately channeled the World Devouring Power, using the newly generated black smoke to absorb the remaining crimson lightning wreaking havoc inside his body.

Only after this desperate effort did he manage to recover a small degree of mobility.

With immense difficulty, Ryan rolled onto his back and lay flat on the ground, gasping for breath.

For a fleeting moment, he thought he might finally have a chance to recover.

Then he looked up.

Nine more crimson lightning bolts were already descending from the sky!

"Damn it! Am I actually going to fail to seal and control this Bloodline Essence?! Nine lightning bolts at once... How the hell am I supposed to block that?!"

Ryan’s expression changed drastically.

He gritted his teeth, hurriedly retrieved two Tier-3 Medium-Grade pills from his spatial ring, and swallowed them both.

Without wasting a second, he began refining their medicinal energy, desperately drawing upon every available source of strength to restore his battered body.

At the same time, he once again activated his Overlord Body Bloodline.

Dense yellow Origin Energy surged around him, and the phantom of his Overlord Body Battle Armor reappeared. Thick black smoke from the Devouring World Art immediately enveloped the armor, reinforcing his defenses as much as possible.

Ryan had thrown everything he possessed into this final attempt.

BANG!

The nine crimson lightning bolts struck from different directions almost simultaneously.

For an instant, the entire area erupted in blinding red light.

The combined force was simply overwhelming.

Ryan’s defenses collapsed almost immediately. His Origin Energy scattered, the Overlord Body Battle Armor phantom shattered, and the black smoke surrounding him was torn apart by the devastating lightning.

His body was hurled through the air before crashing heavily onto the ground with a muffled THUD!

Fresh blood spilled from his mouth, rapidly pooling beneath his motionless body.

His vision darkened.

His consciousness faded.

And at last, Ryan lay unconscious in a thick pool of blood, having completely succumbed to the terrifying power of Primordial Annihilation Lightning...
