This power is extremely pure, containing incredible Life Force.

But at the same time, it is mixed with the chaotic will and mad murmurs of that evil entity, assaulting Li Yan’s mind!

"Ah!" Li Yan felt as if his Divine Soul was about to explode and tear apart from this violent torrent!

The intense pain accompanied by the swelling sensation of the power surge made him almost pass out!

However, amidst this pain, a miracle occurred!

The Daluo Dharma Body began to rapidly restore.

Those terrifying black blights that were spreading madly and almost completely dyeing his soul body black began to melt away, like ice and snow under a scorching sun, making a "sizzling" sound and quickly vanishing at a speed visible to the naked eye upon contact with this vast origin of Life Force!

The areas left by the retreating blights not only did not leave scars on the soul body but became more steadfast and resilient, exuding a restrained, jade-like sheen.

It’s the Heavenly Spirit Earth Treasure!

Li Yan was somewhat incredulous.

Whether in Qingcheng Wudang, the Imperial Palace, or Qiankun Academy, he had spent no small cost to let the Daluo Dharma Body absorb the Heavenly Spirit Earth Treasure.

But as the Spiritual Energy from the treasure increased, the Daluo Dharma Body also became more selective, not encountering a treasure it could devour for a long time.

Unexpectedly, this full of evil energy thing was actually a treasure.

What made him even more ecstatic was that deep within his sea of consciousness, the palace representing the Daluo Dharma Body, after absorbing this vast Life Force, those fine cracks and dim spots left from continuous fierce battles, especially the damage from the previous clash in High Heaven, were being swiftly repaired and reconciled!

The outline of the palace became clearer, the stone texture more primeval and imposing, exuding a more stable and powerful aura.

Normally, constructing towers requires many resources.

Cave Heaven Blessed Land, Heavenly Spirit Earth Treasure, the more the better.

Li Yan’s prior advancement relied on accumulation over these days with the timing just right, and luckily succeeded by finding an ordinary Spiritual Acupoints.

However, the foundation was ultimately unstable.

This time, it completely eliminated all hidden dangers.

Not only that, the previously empty left shoulder of the Daluo Dharma Body had "poof!" reignited a soul fire, although not large, yet exceptionally stable, emitting a warm and resilient glow which was gradually growing stronger.

The reigniting of the soul fire meant an extra life.

Li Yan finally breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Although the evil entity before him was terrifying, the Daluo Dharma Body was its nemesis.

"Roar!"

The opponent clearly sensed danger too, struggling more fiercely.

Crackle!

The cracks on the stone tower continued to expand, and the surrounding space began to tremble.

Li Yan’s ears rang with a booming sound.

Buzz!

As if his consciousness was struck by an invisible giant hammer, countless bizarre, fragmented visions, accompanied by tsunami-like chaotic thoughts, rudely inundated his mind!

He saw an unimaginably barbaric land:

The sky was a murky lead-gray, the land covered by gigantic, sinister-looking fern forests.

Walking amongst them were not humans!

But some strange creatures with muscular humanoid-like upper bodies, whose lower halves connected to thick, meandering snake tails.

They were clad in rough bone armor or rock-carved ornaments, wielding gigantic, heavy, primitive weapons neither made of gold nor stone.

And in front of these snake-bodied beings stood towering terrifying beasts like mountains!

Those beasts had pillar-like limbs, enormous bodies covered with bone plates, long tails swinging like huge whips, heads menacing, teeth sharp, emitting earth-shattering roars.

Just as seen earlier on the stone tower, dinosaurs.

Some snake-bodied beings tamed slightly smaller beasts like chariots; others formed battle formations, using long spears, throwing stones, and even driving strange totems flickering with dim light to engage in fierce combat with those mountain-like terrifying beasts!

The earth shook and cracked under their trampling collisions, giant trees broke, blood stained the jungle... primitive, barbaric, and cruel.

The scene suddenly shifted.

On a massive, breathlessly crude altar constructed of Obsidian and some dark metal, countless snake-bodied beings prostrated on the ground, emitting a deep, twisted chant filled with awe and fear.

At the center of the altar, a mysterious entity was being worshipped...

It seemed to be composed of dark red flesh that constantly changed shape, on the surface countless small, spore-like blights born and died ceaselessly, emitting a nauseating sweet and decayed scent.

Exactly the evil entity sealed at the core of the stone tower!

As light flickered before his eyes, Li Yan suddenly understood: this was the "Ancient God" worshipped by the lost Ancient Times snake-bodied civilization.

It controlled the forces of life and destruction, capable of granting vitality or disseminating death and disease!

It had no concept of good or evil, only an instinctive "Divinity" like tides rise and fall—might bestow tribes thriving Life Force; a random "wrath" might trigger a terrifying plague sweeping the entire clan!

It was nature’s embodiment, the most primitive, wild, and cruel part of the cycle of life.

The snake-bodied civilization revered it, worshipped it.

Ultimately, fearing its unpredictable, uncontrollable brutality, they exerted the power of the entire tribe to seal it within this specially made stone tower, deeply buried under the land later named "Penglai"!

The images shattered again, twisting, sharply pulling towards an even more remote and chaotic past...

Li Yan’s consciousness seemingly plunged into the boundless dark deep sea.
