Chapter 363 New Enemies Emerge!

Leon stared at the enemy in thought. He guessed that most of the people on his side were also having the same thoughts as himself.

Was it going to be this easy?

Leon did not want to jinx his side, but honestly, if this was all the Demons had, then he felt that he could go and conquer their entire continent by himself!

Just as the thought passed through Leon’s mind, he felt space fluctuate and ripple behind the A rank Demons. A blood red portal was ripped open, carrying a powerful and ominous aura. Leon was surprised when he felt a particularly powerful aura. The individual did not even bother hiding how powerful he was.

One look around was enough to tell Leon that his comrades also sensed the Demon who was flaunting that aura. Their faces paled and some of them frowned.

‘He’s on my level…’ Leon realized. The feeling was vague, but Leon could tell that this person had also surpassed the System, and his mastery was far higher than Yaika’s, and on the level of himself.

“Leon Cromwell… How surprising that we meet here… Not.” A voice came from the portal in a mocking tone as a new wave of enemies began to pour through it. A ranks were scattered among their ranks, and the weakest among them was a B rank.

Clank!

The sound of armor rubbing against armor sounded as six figures stepped through the portal. They all held themselves in a manner that showed they were not to be trifled with, but one thing that struck Leon was that the way they acted showed they were not in charge. This was despite them all being Peak A ranks at the highest level!

A tall shadow emerged from the red portal. Three meters tall, powerful and strong, mighty and fearless, Garr stalked out of the portal with his eyes squinted. His armor glistened under the sun that was gradually covered up by encroaching clouds in the sky.

“Who are you?” Leon asked. He was truly curious. In this world, the experts that had grown beyond the confines of the System were very few, but so talented and powerful that many knew their names. Yet, no one on Leon’s side could tell who this person was.

“I recognized the six Undead Beings around him, but I do not know who he is.” Carter Kim stepped forward and said, his voice drifting only among his allies. None of the Demons could hear him.

“Who are they?” Yaika asked.

“They are six of the seven Undead Kings of the Undead Peak. There are seven of them, but if we add in the one who seems to be the boss here, then that would mean they are complete.” The blond man had a terrible expression on his face. “The Undead King of Dread, Dion, has grown again.” He whispered.

“I no longer go by that name.” Garr suddenly spoke up. His eyes flashed beneath his helmet as he spoke, signifying that he had heard everything that was said between them. “I am now Garr, The Conqueror.” He stepped forward, his aura billowing like the wind, spreading pressure all around him.

“The Empire of Light seems to know a bit too much about the Demon Continent. Our existence has been known by only a select few over the centuries past.” Garr said with his mocking tone. Carter swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat just from feeling Garr’s aura. He knew that he did not stand a chance against the mighty Undead.

“Dealing with the Empire of Light will be left for another day, I’m afraid. Today, I have come to deal with you.” Garr turned his eyes back to Leon, the bright and blood thirsty eyes flashing red under his helmet.

“It is not so easy, Garr. I do not know how long you have been targeting me for, but you should know that it is not easy to bring me down.” Leon also moved forward, his aura blazing around him.

His aura was harsh and cold, powerful and unshakable. He only made it affect the Demons, allowing it to wash over his allies without negatively affecting them. It gave them a bit of reassurance, seeing as Leon’s aura was able to match up against Garr’s. However, it also brought another wave of worry for certain people that were not entirely in support of Leon, like some of those from the Empire of Light.

“I know it is not easy. However, I am well prepared to deal with you.” Garr chuckled.

At the same time he spoke, another portal opened and several powerful auras appeared. Gargoyles poured from the portal as ten more A ranks appeared. Among them, several Peak A rank figures made themselves known. The Demon Continent was putting its full force behind this operation! Their reaction to the sudden attack might have been slow, but they were ready now!

Leon stared at the Demon Army in front of him with a solemn expression. This force was roughly equal to theirs. The initial advantage that they had was now evened out thanks to Garr and the reinforcements that had come late.

“You have two choices, surrender and die, or fight and still die. It is up to you. I suggest you pick the first option, though. It will mean less suffering for you.” Garr mockingly suggested.

The tone that Garr had been using ever since he appeared had been rubbing Leon the wrong way for some time now. He could feel it in his bones. He hated that tone.

The flames within Leon burned hotter than ever as he held open his arms. Just as he was about to speak, he received some information from the Ten Knights of the Nameless Order. A vicious grin spread over his face.

“Hahaha! I should suggest the same to you, poor fool! You do not know the true depth of my power!” Leon laughed madly as he felt a wave of relief wash over him.

His body bloomed with power as he summoned a powerful army from the depths of the Abyss swirling within his core.
