Chapter 319 A Peek Beyond The System
Leon folded his arms as his strongest summons appeared in front of him. He had called not only his A rank summons, but also the Pseudo-A rank summons, as this mission would be the best chance for them to level up and break past their limits.
Michael had already told him what to expect from this dungeon. It was located in the Demonic Continent, and it was an A rank dungeon. This time, the strength of the dungeon was higher than that of the Despair Dungeon, as even normal mobs were full fledged A rank monsters!
It was also a unique dungeon among others, as it possessed a twin core! This was what gave it enough power to regularly produce enough energy to spawn A rank monsters. An average dungeon could not support the requirements to spawn A rank creatures as average mobs.
“Master, will that not be too difficult for us?” Kaladin asked and looked among the summons that were gathered there. Only four of them were A rank, while the rest were all Pseudo-A ranks. It would only take a little bit for them to cross that boundary, but even then, it would be difficult for them to take on the entire dungeon by themselves.
“You are right. It will be difficult, and depending on how things go, we might be absent for weeks. However, we don’t need to worry. I will leave enough numbers here to hold things down at the frontlines while we are away.” Leon waved away Kaladin’s worries, but unknown to him, Kaladin’s mood was currently bad. The fact that Leon was leaving things in the hands of the newcomer who he was feeling threatened by was something that did not sit right with him.
Nero discreetly nudged Kaladin and shook his head. He also did not like it, but he did not have a choice. He had never doubted Leon in such a manner. Sure, sometimes he actually wondered if Leon was right in the head, but now, he agreed with Leon. At least, if they got stronger there, then they would once again outclass Axel, and retake their positions as Leon’s strongest summons with pride.
He shared this with Kaladin through a special telepathic channel that they had both formed with each other upon reaching A rank. Kaladin was surprised that Nero had thought of this, but nodded in understanding after hearing it.
After Leon had finished updating them, he took the back into the Abyss of the Undead and grasped the medallion that Michael had given him before. The Fate God had tweaked it to include the ability to take him to the destination dungeon.
With a flash of white light, Leon disappeared.

“Your Excellency, you called for me.” A figure clad in black and red armor knelt before a large throne. The throne room was engulfed in darkness, with four torches of red fire lit up in the fur corners of the room. However, none of the light that they emitted lit up the throne.
“Raise your head, my servant.” The being seated on the throne said. Two bright red eyes sat in the darkness atop the throne, but the body they belonged to was not shown.
The one kneeling down at the base of the throne rose his head, revealing himself to be none other than Garrix’s master!
“I know what you are here for, but please, speak.” The being said in a tone that dripped of amusement.
“…I have lost the Infinity Cube that you granted onto me. I am about to go after the one that took it, but I will need your blessing, for he wields Divinity of the Order.” Garrix’s master said.
“I see. Very well, then. Brace yourself, for I shall bestow upon you my blessing.” The being said and power rippled through the throne room.
A vile, pungent power thrummed through the air and pressed the powerful Undead to the ground with sudden force. After the momentary shock, he stood himself up and allowed the power seep into his flesh and bones. His pale skin darkened and turned an almost sickly mix of ashen gray and green.
“LET THE POWER OF A CHAOS GOD FLOW THROUGH YOU!!!” The mighty God that Garrix served bellowed and the entire temple shook and trembled. The Minor Gods that served this God also trembled, but they stood firm under their master’s power.
Boom!
The ground cracked under the force of his power as everything flowed into the body that had reached the absolute peak of what was achievable in the world of Datar.
“ARGHHH!!!!” The Undead being groaned with pain as his master granted him a new race, with new power. Power that was enough to crush absolutely anyone in this world that was still held back by the System.
However, this power did not come for free. The shackles that the evil God of Chaos had sunk into all his servants and subordinates were also tied to the soul of his latest victim, forever limiting his power, strength, growth and free will.
His glowing red eyes squinted with pleasure, turning into crescents that looked so menacing that even the most ferocious demonic beast would shiver and shake.

The former master of Garrix fell to his knees, filled to the brim with power, yet ever so tired. He could feel the power dancing across his fingertips, yet he could also feel the chains of servitude that had been buried deep inside his chest. Inside his core.
“Rise. Rise, and experience your new power. I shall bestow you a title in my name! You will be known as Garr, The Conqueror! Now, Go! Go and conquer! Conquer it all in my name!”
The throne room shook as the God of Chaos stood from his throne. As he moved, the temple trembled and chunks of stone dropped down from the ceiling. His servants immediately moved to limit the material damage to the temple before it would collapse, but he did not care.
A deep bellow full of scorn, hatred and anger, echoed through the temple.
