The Black Necromancer

Chapter 305 Mysterious Man

“Today, you die here, foul wench!”

Grokus raised his hammer and slammed it down on Morgana’s head. However, before he could connect the blow, a magical barrier that was much stronger than what Grokus could overcome in one blow magically appeared between his hammer and Morgana’s head.

“That is no way to treat a lady.” A man calmly walked up to Morgana’s side and picker her up. Grokus was unable to move, as the man had used some sort of magic on him.

Whoosh!

Nero appeared beside the man, blinking into existence beside him, with his blades just a few inches away from the man’s neck. However, he moved no further.

Bzzt!

Several bolts of lightning struck down on the man’s head, but a barrier prevented them from moving any further. The white haired man turned to look at Kaladin and Kaladin lost control of his body. He was helplessly drawn toward the man.

“Now, now. Little children like you should not be playing around on this battlefield.” The man smiled deviously. “I should put you three to sleep so you won’t bother the adults anymore.” He said and twisted his wrists. Instantly, the space around the three summons began to crumple, causing chunks of their bodies to break off.

“No… one… Shall stand… In my way!” Kaladin felt a wave of shame wash through him. “None! Until I do my Master’s bidding!”

Buzzzzz!

Everything around him was shrouded in a curtain of white and black lightning as Kaladin exploded with power. He immediately broke free of the strange power that was holding him down. His sudden explosion of power also served as an example to Nero and Grokus, as the three of them also blew up with their own power.

Whoosh!

The man appeared a hundred meters away with Morgana beside him. The Blood Witch was barely on her feet as she stood beside the man.

“Thanks…” She grunted.

“I have told you already, milady. Call me Axel.” The man tipped his head before turning back to the three summons that were exerting their wills onto their surroundings. The only way they had been able to break free from his control was by forcing their will onto their surrounding. While he could have prevented that from happening, he was not yet in the mood to stop playing with them.

Bzzt! Bang! Bang!

Thunder clapped high in the sky and streaks of lightning rained down on the ground. Kaladin rose up into the sky with his mage robes fluttering around him. His body was drenched in the snakes of white lightning that descended from the sky, and in the midst of all that, his black bones began to turn white, while the lightning began to turn black.

“Your very existence is the defiance of my Master’s will! I will make sure you no longer exist to get in his way!” Kaladin proclaimed before disappearing with a flash of lightning. Instantly, the lightning rain became several times more intense. Everywhere that was touched by the lightning turned into a crater. In mere moments, that portion of the battlefield was turned into a wasteland.

Boom!

A green tornado rose from the ground, wrapped with the black lightning that descended from the sky. Around the tornado, an uncountable number of green snakes were formed by the ambient mana that surrounded the tornado. In the middle of the tornado, Grokus stood, with his eyes glowing with bright green light. He was also giving it his all for this one attack. He could see that the person before him was just too powerful!

“FEEL THE WRATH OF THIS FAITHFUL SERVANT!” Nero also joined in on the attack with a burst of his own mana. Instantly the air in that area turned sharp enough to leave little scratches on Axel’s skin. Although this was nothing to an A rank, Axel was still alarmed. He became much more wary of the power of this joint attack and prepared himself to block it.

“DIE!!!” All three summons let their attacks go and the tornado twisted before pointing right at Axel and slamming down!

BOOOOOM!!!!

It was as if the sky was falling down. Although others had long since left the vicinity of the fight between them to avoid getting caught up in it, the scale of this attack was just so great that the fighting between the weaker members of both sides was momentarily dragged into a lull.

A giant mushroom cloud of dust rose up high into the ground as powerful, devastating energies were released onto the area.

Everyone held their breaths to see the outcome of the attack. Most of the people who were in the know of Axel’s identity were doubtful that he had fallen to that attack. That was how powerful the man was.

“Man, I actually thought I was gonna die.” The man’s voice cut through the partial silence. A powerful gust of wind blew the dust away from where he was, revealing him. The coat he had worn was in shambles, and the clothes on his upper half had also been shredded to nothing after that attack. However, his skin only showed a few red scratches.

“How?!” Kaladin was stunned.

“You idiot. Did you really think you could beat me?” Axel appeared right in from of Kaladin. The mage could not even follow his movements, which meant that he had teleported. Whatever teleportation that was must have been very advanced for even Kaladin to have been lost for a moment.

Crack!

Kaladin’s bones broke under a phantom weight. It was as if matter itself was listening to the commands of this mysterious but powerful man.

“Ha!” Nero and Grokus launched a joint attack on Axel, but they also froze and their bones began to break and twist under that phatom force.

“I will make your death slow and painful.” Axel whispered to the ears of the three prone summons.

“Ha… Hahaha… Hahahahahah!!!” To Axel’s surprise, all three summons began to chuckle to themselves like mad people.

BOOOM!

A mighty pressure washed over Axel’s shoulders in the next moment.𝗈𝒱𝗅xt.𝗇t
