The Black Necromancer

Chapter 296 Storming Headquarters (2)

Leon grabbed hold of Darius’ fist and flipped him over his shoulder, like flipping a child. The huge man did a spin mid air, landing on his feet before jumping in right again. Leon also charged in, meeting Darius blow for blow. With his sturdy body, he could afford to play around with Darius without sustaining any injuries. It was almost as if he was being hit with paper.𝑜𝐕xt.𝔠

“The Master is as amazing as ever.” Nero’s eyes blazed as he recalled the time he had a mock fist fight with Leon in Fort Bender.

“Of course. That is why he is the Master. If he was not amazing, then we will never have been born again to serve him.” Kaladin nodded his head sagely.

“Hmm, you are right.” Grokus grunted as he watched the fight. Leon hardly moved a step, and when he did move, he only moved forward to push harder against Darius.

“You-” Darius opened his mouth to speak, but was cut short when Leon’s fist slammed into his mouth. Leon lifted him off the ground and slammed him down to the ground, sending a tremor through the reinforced saferoom. Leon had no idea why the saferoom was not actually underground, but he didn’t care.

“Come on, is that all you’ve got? Is this all that Black Fangs’ got?” Leon laughed as he finally gave Darius a break. The man’s body shook as he stood up and wiped the blood that was pouring out of his nose.

“Don’t underestimate me! In fact, thanks to you, I’ve finally broken past my boundaries!” Darius cackled menacingly and he suddenly burst with another fresh wave of power. His skin began to solidify as it took on a golden tint. His aura raged as it showed that he had reached the level of a High D rank. But Leon did not stop him. Instead, the subtle grin on his face grew even wider. If these people knew how powerful he actually was, then they would shit themselves.

After ten seconds, Darius finally completed his transformation. He banged his fists together, creating sparks. His body shone with a golden luster and his eyes glowed with rage.

“I’ll pay you back a hundred fold for embarrassing me and the Black Fangs!” He declared before jumping forward and clasping his hands together.

“Oh?” Leon leapt backwards and dodged the hit.

BOOM!

The ground broke apart under the force of such a blow, but the saferoom was built so sturdily that everything was still intact. The force of the blow gathered into one point before exploding outward and rebounding off the walls. The waves of power thrummed through Leon’s body, but unfortunately, it could not shake him.

‘If he was fighting people on par with him, then he would be quite strong. All these talents, rotting away in this world. I must bring them back with me!’ Leon’s eyes suddenly sharped and he appeared behind Darius, taking him by surprise. His fists shot out with rapid movements as he delivered crippling blows to Darius all while moving around his body and avoiding his punches. Leon turned into Darius’ shadow as he pummeled him mercilessly.

Thud!

Eventually, Darius could no longer take the beating and collapsed, falling onto his knees. The golden skin receded, giving way for skin that had been reddened by Leon’s relentless beating.

“Oh, that took a while.” Leon chuckled as he stepped back and rubbed his knuckles. He looked down and saw that his knuckles were already swelling a bit. ‘Hmm, he’s pretty strong. His defense is excellent and his attacking power is quite good too. It was just a bad match up.’ Leon thought to himself as he evaluated the fallen man.

“You… How did you…” Before Darius could finish his sentence, he lost consciousness and finally slumped to the ground in a heap.

“Alright, now that we are done, let’s go.” Leon clapped as the shadow under Darius sucked him into itself.

“Yes Master!” The three summons dutifully responded.

Leon turned around and left the saferoom, and soon he arrived at the ground floor. Just as the four of them stepped out of the elevator, the doors that served as the entrance swung open and a large number of people marched in. At the head of them was a man garbed in white. He wore a long white coat, white trousers, a white dress shirt, and a white hat. The rest of the people behind him were also dressed in white.

Leon paused mid stride as he saw the white garbed people. He wondered if they had come as back up before cutting off that line of thought. He instantly knew who they were.

The White Ghosts.

“You must be the remnants of the Black Fangs! I heard you were being attacks and brought my men over as quickly as I could!” The man at the front had his head bowed as he spoke. He took of this hat and raised his head, but froze as his eyes met Leon’s.

“Who… Are you?” The man asked as he looked directly into Leon’s eyes. Even Leon was frozen in place as he found it hard to believe the image of the man standing opposite from him.

Since Leon did not need to worry about being seen by people that might recognize him as he dealt with the Black Fangs gang, he had reverted his face to normal. Now, he was looking at a face that was the exact same thing as his.

“I should be asking you that question myself.” Leon replied, his eyes narrowed.

“I am Caesar White, leader of the White Ghosts.” The man said and held his hat to his chest while giving a small bow. “I am quite familiar with the looks of every important person that is part of the Black Fangs, but since I do not know you, I believe you must be one of their foreign backers.” The man, Caesar, said, his eyes sharpening.
