The Black Necromancer

Chapter 102 Dungeon Core (2)

After sorting through his thoughts, Leon finally turned his attention back to his summons. “I want those of you that are level hundred to step forward.” He told them.

Immediately, over a hundred of his summons, including Kaladin, Nero, and Grokus stepped forward. Nedra was already beside him, while James did not have much of a chance fighting because Leon had kept him on hand to be used against the spider queen. While he had been useful, the time he had spent fighting other monsters had not been enough for him to go from level zero to hundred.

“Err…” Leon was taken aback when he saw the large number of summons that had maxed out their levels. “You know what? Fifty of you, follow me. If there is still space, then the rest of you can undergo your Race Advancement.” He quickly rephrased.

He quickly picked out twenty Royal Millipedes, fifteen Ghost Millipede Soldiers, and fifteen Ghost Millipedes.

With those numbers, along with his elite summons, he stepped through the white portal. When a wave of warmth washed over his body, Leon looked around, finding himself in a white space. The ground was a pale color, and white nothingness spread outwards from the other end of the portal.

[Congratulations! You have cleared the Dark Abyss Spider Dungeon! You can now collect your rewards!]

A notification screen popped up in front of Leon, irritating him slightly. He already guessed that he would get another reward here. Each hall they had cleared had rewarded them so far, with each one getting better and better.

The first hall gave him the Abyss Cape. The second have him the Abyss Visor. The third gave him the Abyss Chest plate, and so on. Right now, the only piece of the set that he seemed to be lacking was the weapon. He had a full set of armor, complimented by the cape, but no weapons. So, he guessed that what was left would be the weapons.

A bright light ahead pulled Leon away from his train of thoughts. When he looked up, he saw a set of weapons appear before him.

[Please select a weapon!]

A notification screen hovered above the weapons as Leon stepped forward. There was a sword, spear, dual hammers, and others. Leon took a good look at the weapons, trying to consider which one would be best when Nedra walked up.

“What’s this?” She asked, choosing to speak out loud instead of mentally, even though she was in her millipede form. One of her antennae dipped and pointed as a small, black pill that was the size of Leon’s thumb. The small thing floated at the edge of the display of weapons. Its size made it easier to overlook, but Leon was curious.

He cast his gaze to the other weapons once more, his eyes settling over the sword and spear that were placed side by side.

‘Can’t make any big achievements if I don’t take a leap of faith. I choose you!’ He reached out and grabbed the small pill, before stepping back.

[You have selected Dark Pill!]

[Congratulations!! The Dark Pill will now be added to the Dark Abyss Set!]

[You have gained Dark Abyss Set! Any Darkness attributed magic or equipment will receive a fifty percent boost while wearing the Dark Abyss Set!]

A flurry of notifications bombarded him the moment he took the pill. He felt the pill in his grasp tremble, and he opened his palm.

Whoosh!

The pill flew out of his grasp and hovered in the air before him, and in the next moment, the rest of the set appeared. Leon watched on in astonishment as the pill melted into the armor set, setting off ripples that changed the set. Then the set floated forward and engulphed Leon, covering him with it.

“Ohhh…” Leon felt a wave of mana wash through him. He recognized it, as he had felt that same thing from his Dark Magic skill, but what resided within the armor set was much more powerful.

[You can now imitate any weapon type with the Dark Pill!]

Finally, Leon found out what the true use of the Dark Pill actually was. He stared with astonishment as the Dark Pill appeared above his gloved hand, revolving and turning into a dark liquid. He willed it to turn into a sword, and it did, turning into a pitch black sword. He then willed it into a spear, then a hammer, before bursting into a manic cackle.

“HAHAHAHA! Finally! I have the ultimate weapon!” He laughed some more before calming down and letting out a sigh.

He turned and looked at Nedra and his elite summons. “How do I look?” He spread out his arms, letting the cape spread out behind him. The dark armor gleamed in the white light of the space they were in, and the purple light from his eye sockets glowed from underneath the visor.

“You look powerful.” Nero went down on a knee like the loyal warrior he was.

Kaladin nodded his head, and Grokus grunted in approval. Nedra just nodded her head to, although Leon could feel her excitement through their bond.

Rumble…

(A/N: Had no idea what sound effect to use for a rumbling sound smh…)

Leon spun around, the Dark Pill morphing into a sword, his eyes pinned on the location the sound was coming from, and was stunned to see a hole the size of his body a few meters away from him. A glimmering, white orb slowly rose out from the hole, painting the already white space even whiter for a moment.

“What’s going on now?” Leon hesitantly raised his sword in a defensive posture. His summons and Nedra also prepared for battle, but what happened was what they least expected.

A heavy pressure pulsed out of the white orb, sending Leon and the others backwards a few steps. Leon was surprised to find out that the pressure completely dwarfed his own, but it was not pressuring them threateningly.

His shock catapulted upwards when the next thing happened.

“Well done, Undead!”
