Chapter 80: Call me Husband !

"Wife?"

What is this lunatic talking about?

Rin’s thoughts were barely holding together.

I need to get out of here.

I need to run.

That was the only thing his remaining reason could tell him. But escaping was impossible.

The leash around his neck was still firmly held in Kaelith’s hand, and judging by the expression on the King’s face, he had no intention of letting go anytime soon.

"Let me go," Rin said, his voice trembling despite his efforts to sound firm.

For Kaelith, however, those three words seemed to have the complete opposite effect. His crimson eyes darkened with obsession.

Instead of releasing Rin, Kaelith pulled him closer until their faces were only inches apart.

"Wife... you shouldn’t seduce me like this."

His voice was dangerously soft.

"After all, I’m devoted only to you."

Rin barely had time to process those words before Kaelith closed the remaining distance between them. Rin froze.

The kiss came without warning, leaving him unable to understand what was happening.

"Mm..."

For several seconds, Kaelith refused to give him the chance to recover.

His obsession seemed to grow stronger with every passing moment, as though finally having Rin in front of him had shattered the last restraint he possessed.

Kaelith’s hand moved into Rin’s hair, tightening his grip.

"Ah!"

Pain shot through Rin, forcing a small sound from him. The moment Kaelith heard it, something in his expression changed again.

Whatever little restraint remained seemed to disappear. His eyes looked almost demonic.

"Wife..."

His voice trembled with obsession.

"I want you so much."

He pulled Rin closer.

"I want to devour you completely."

Rin could barely think anymore. His thoughts were scattered, his body exhausted, and the strange effects of the pill were making everything increasingly difficult to understand.

Then, before Rin could realize what was happening, another pill was placed in his mouth.

This time, Kaelith was the one giving it to him. Rin’s eyes widened.

Another one?!

The strange sensation became even more overwhelming. Kaelith suddenly lifted Rin with ease and carried him toward the bed.

The chains around Rin’s legs snapped apart instantly. The sudden movement startled him, and when he landed against the mattress, a quiet sound escaped him.

"Ah... that hurts..."

His voice was barely a whisper. Kaelith stopped. For a moment, he simply looked at Rin.

Then he leaned closer and gently brushed away the tears gathering around Rin’s eyes.

"It’s all right, wife."

His voice was disturbingly gentle compared to the violence that had surrounded him only moments before.

"I’m the only one who will ever make you cry."

Kaelith’s red eyes remained fixed on Rin.

"I’m the only one who will hear you."

He paused.

"I’m the only one who will touch you."

His expression became almost frighteningly serene.

"For ETERNITY."

Rin stared at him.

There was something deeply wrong in Kaelith’s eyes. It wasn’t simple affection. It wasn’t ordinary love. It was obsession. Something ancient.

Something that had survived far beyond the limits of reason.

Kaelith slowly moved closer, leaving a trail of gentle touches across Rin’s face and hands.

Rin couldn’t understand why this man was acting as though they had already shared an entire lifetime together.

Why did Kaelith call him wife? Why did he look at Rin as though losing him again would destroy everything?

And why... why did Rin feel as though he had heard that voice somewhere before?

Kaelith smiled.

"Ah, wife... you’re so beautiful."

His crimson eyes never left Rin.

"Look at me."

His voice softened.

"Look at me and let me make you happy."

Rin’s thoughts were barely functioning. He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to escape.

And, most importantly, he still didn’t even know the name of the man standing before him.

So, gathering what little strength remained, Rin reached toward Kaelith. His fingers caught in the man’s hair.

Kaelith immediately stopped. Rin pulled his face upward.

"Tell me..." Rin whispered, struggling to breathe normally.

"How... how are you called?"

He swallowed.

"At least I have the right to know that, don’t I?"

Kaelith froze. Completely. For several seconds, he simply stared at Rin. It was as though the question had shattered something inside him.

His expression changed. The obsession remained, but beneath it was something else.

Pain. For one brief moment, Kaelith looked as though the entire world had collapsed around him. Rin didn’t understand why.

He only waited. Finally, Kaelith answered in a whisper.

"Kaelith."

The name hung between them. Rin repeated it silently.

Kaelith...

But before Rin could say anything else, Kaelith leaned closer.

"That’s what you may call me."

His voice was soft, but there was something unmistakably commanding beneath it.

Then he added:

"Husband."

Rin stared at him.

"Husband...?"

Kaelith smiled.

"From now on, that’s the only way you’re allowed to call me."

His tone was gentle. But it sounded like an order. Rin’s mind was barely functioning anymore.

Everything around him felt distant. The strange world. The impossible situation.

The terrifying man in front of him. The name he had just learned.

Kaelith.

Somehow, the name felt strangely familiar. Rin didn’t know why. He didn’t know where he had heard it before.

He didn’t know why his chest felt strangely heavy whenever he looked into those crimson eyes. His thoughts became increasingly unclear.

And then, without fully understanding what he was saying, Rin whispered:

"Ah... husband... I will... ah."

Kaelith’s eyes widened.

For one brief second, the entire room became silent. Then a smile slowly appeared on his face.

A smile that made Rin’s instincts scream that he had just made a terrible mistake.

Kaelith leaned closer.

"That’s it."

His voice was almost a whisper.

"Say it again."

Rin stared at him. But before he could respond, Kaelith spoke again.

"Then, wife..."

His crimson eyes gleamed.

"Let’s remain together."

His voice became almost frighteningly gentle.

"For ETERNITY."

And just as the strange atmosphere reached its peak—

[Welcome, Host.]

Rin froze.

A familiar voice suddenly echoed inside his mind.

[BL System is now active.]

Rin’s eyes widened.

...What?

"What are you thinking about when I’m right here?"

Kaelith’s voice was cold.

"Wife... are you perhaps talking to another man right now?"

Rin’s mind was in complete chaos.

First, because of the overwhelming effects still clouding his thoughts, and now because a strange voice was speaking directly inside his head.

He barely knew which problem to deal with first.

"Ah, wife. Look at me."

Kaelith’s voice became colder.

"You see, I don’t accept being betrayed or deceived."

He remained close to Rin, his crimson eyes fixed entirely on him.

"Touch me, wife... and perhaps my anger will disappear."

Rin stared at the man in front of him.

He didn’t understand why, but perhaps because of the effects still clouding his mind, he slowly moved closer and wrapped his arms around Kaelith’s neck.

"S-something about possessive men... I like it..."

Rin’s voice was unsteady. Then he looked directly into Kaelith’s crimson eyes.

"Husband... kiss me."

Kaelith froze. For a moment, he simply stared at Rin as though he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.

His Rin... Had finally asked him to kiss him. Was this real?

After everything he had endured, after everything he had lost, after an eternity of searching...

Rin was finally asking him to stay. Kaelith’s expression softened for the briefest moment.

Then, before either of them could say anything else, he pulled Rin closer.

The rest of the night passed behind closed doors, leaving only the quiet sound of the world outside as the hours slowly disappeared.

By the time dawn arrived, the room had fallen completely silent.

Rin was already deep asleep, exhausted after everything that had happened.

Kaelith remained beside him.

His blood-red eyes were fixed on Rin’s sleeping face as though he were afraid that the moment he looked away, Rin might disappear again.

Slowly, Kaelith reached out and gently stroked Rin’s back. A faint smile appeared on his face.

"I won’t ever let you leave again."

His voice was barely above a whisper.

"You’re mine..."

He paused.

"For eternity."
